2 Heureusement le Seigneur était avec nous quand le monde s’en prit à nous.	2 in Jerusalem. Mountains surround it. And the Lord surrounds his people, from this time forward and even forever.
3 Sinon ils nous avalaient vivants tant ils étaient emportés contre nous.	3 For the Lord will not allow the rod of sinners to remain over the lot of the just, so that the just may not extend their hands toward iniquity.
4 Un peu plus et les eaux nous submergeaient, le torrent nous passait par-dessus,	4 Do good, O Lord, to the good and to the upright of heart.
5 et nos âmes restaient sous les eaux écumantes.	5 But those who turn away into obligation, the Lord will lead away with the workers of iniquity. Peace be upon Israel.
6 Béni soit le Seigneur! Il n’a pas fait de nous la proie de nos ennemis.
7 Comme l’oiseau notre âme s’est échappée du filet de l’oiseleur. Le filet s’est rompu et nous avons échappé.
8 Notre secours est dans le Nom du Seigneur qui a fait le ciel et la terre.
