Apocalissi 20

1 E vidi uno angelo che discendeva dal cielo, che aveva le chiavi dell' abisso, e una catena grande nella mano sua.	1 And I saw an Angel, descending from heaven, holding in his hand the key of the abyss and a great chain.
2 E prese il dracone, serpente antiquo, il quale è il diavolo e satana; e legollo per mille anni.	2 And he apprehended the dragon, the ancient serpent, who is the devil and Satan, and he bound him for a thousand years.
3 E miselo nell' abisso, e chiavollo, e signò sopra di lui, acciò ch' el non seduca più la gente, insino a tanto che si compiesse mille anni; e dopo bisogna che sia disligato un poco di tempo.	3 And he cast him into the abyss, and he closed and sealed it, so that he would no longer seduce the nations, until the thousand years are completed. And after these things, he must be released for a brief time.
4 E vidi le sedie, e sederono sopra di esse, e a quelli fu dato il giudicio; e vidi le anime di quelli che sono stati decollati per la testimonianza di Iesù e per la parola di Dio; e di quelli li quali non adorarono la bestia e la imagine sua, e non ricevettero il carattere suo nel fronte ovver nelle mani sue, e viverono e regnarono con Cristo mille anni.	4 And I saw thrones. And they sat upon them. And judgment was given to them. And the souls of those beheaded because of the testimony of Jesus and because of the Word of God, and who did not adore the beast, nor his image, nor accept his character on their foreheads or on their hands: they lived and they reigned with Christ for a thousand years.
5 Gli altri morti non viverono insino tanto che si compiesseno mille anni. Questa è la resurrezione prima.	5 The rest of the dead did not live, until the thousand years are completed. This is the First Resurrection.
6 Beato e santo colui che ha parte nella resurrezione prima; in questi la morte seconda non ha possanza; ma saranno sacerdoti di Dio e di Cristo, e regneranno con Cristo mille anni.	6 Blessed and holy is he who takes part in the First Resurrection. Over these the second death has no power. But they shall be priests of God and of Christ, and they shall reign with him for a thousand years.
7 E come saranno compiuti mille anni, sarà dislegato satana della prigione sua; e lui uscirà e seducerà le genti le quali sono sopra li quattro cantoni della terra, Gog e Magog; e congregherà quelli in battaglia, de' quali il numero è come l'arena del mare.	7 And when the thousand years will have been completed, Satan shall be released from his prison, and he will go out and seduce the nations which are upon the four quarters of the earth, Gog and Magog. And he will gather them together for battle, those whose number is like the sand of the sea.
8 E ascenderono sopra la larghezza della terra; e circondarono li castelli de' santi e la città diletta.	8 And they climbed across the breadth of the earth, and they encompassed the camp of the Saints and the Beloved City.
9 E discese fuoco da Dio del cielo, e divorò quelli; e il diavolo, il quale seduceva quelli, fu messo nel lago del fuoco e del sulfore, dove la bestia	9 And fire from God descended from heaven and devoured them. And the devil, who seduced them, was cast into the pool of fire and sulphur,
10 e il falso prefeta saranno cruciati dì e notte in secula seculorum.	10 where both the beast and the false prophetess shall be tortured, day and night, forever and ever.
11 E vidi uno trono grande e candido, e colui che sedeva sopra quello, dal cui conspetto (la terra) fuggitte la terra e il cielo, e luogo non fu trovato da loro.	11 And I saw a great white throne, and One sitting upon it, from whose sight earth and heaven fled, and no place was found for them.
12 E vidi li morti grandi e piccoli, stanti nel conspetto del trono e li libri furono aperti; e uno altro libro è aperto, ch' è di vita; e furono giudicati li morti, di quelle cose ch' erano scritte nelli libri delle opere sue.	12 And I saw the dead, great and small, standing in view of the throne. And books were opened. And another Book was opened, which is the Book of Life. And the dead were judged by those things that had been written in the books, according to their works.
13 E dètte il mare li morti (suoi), li quali erano in esso; e la morte e l'inferno dettero li morti suoi, li quali erano in loro; e fu giudicato di ciascheduno secondo le opere sue.	13 And the sea gave up the dead who were in it. And death and Hell gave up their dead who were in them. And they were judged, each one according to his works.
14 E l'inferno e la morte sono posti nel lago del fuoco. E questa è la morte seconda.	14 And Hell and death were cast into the pool of fire. This is the second death.
15 E quello non è trovato nel libro di vita scritto, posto è nel lago del fuoco.	15 And whoever was not found written in the Book of Life was cast into the pool of fire.
