1 E questi sono i nomi delle tribù (alle quali fu divisa la terra), cominciando dalli termini aquilonari appresso la via di Etalon per la qual si va in Emat, e alla casa di Enan termine di Damasco, dalla parte aquilonare appresso a [la via di] Emat. E sarà a lei lo mare plaga orientale; questa parte averà la tribù di Dan.	1 ' "This is the list of the tribes. One portion in the far north by way of Hethlon to the Pass of Hamath, toHazer-Enon, with the territory of Damascus to the north, and marching with Hamath, from the eastern limit to thewestern limit: Dan.
2 E dal termine (della terra) di Dan, dalla plaga orientale per sino alla plaga del mare, sarà data alla tribù di Aser.	2 One portion bordering Dan, from the eastern limit to the western limit: Asher.
3 E dopo il termine (della terra) di Aser, dalla plaga orientale per sino alla plaga del mare, sarà data alla tribù di Neftali.	3 One portion bordering Asher, from the eastern limit to the western limit: Naphtali.
4 E dopo il termine (della terra) di Neftali, dalla plaga orientale insino alla plaga del mare, sarà data alla tribù di Manasse.	4 One portion bordering Naphtali, from the eastern limit to the western limit: Manasseh.
5 E dopo il termine (della terra) di Manasse, dalla plaga orientale per sino alla plaga del mare, sarà data alla tribù di Efraim.	5 One portion bordering Manasseh, from the eastern limit to the western limit: Ephraim.
6 E dopo il termine (della terra) di Efraim, dalla plaga orientale insino alla plaga del mare, sarà data alla tribù di Ruben.	6 One portion bordering Ephraim, from the eastern limit to the western limit: Reuben.
7 E dopo il termine (della terra) di Ruben, dalla plaga orientale per sino alla plaga del mare, sarà data alla tribù di Giuda.	7 One portion bordering Reuben, from the eastern limit to the western limit: Judah.
8 E dopo il termine (della terra) di Giuda, dalla plaga orientale per sino alla plaga del mare, sarà la terra delle primizie, la quale separerete, e sarà di venticinque milia (calami) per larghezza e lunghezza, così come cadauna delle altre parti (della tribù) dalla plaga orientale per sino alla plaga del mare; e sarà il santuario nel mezzo d' essa.	8 One portion bordering Judah, from the eastern limit to the western limit, is the portion which you mustset aside, twenty-five thousand cubits wide, and as long as each of the other portions from the eastern limit tothe western limit. The sanctuary wil be in the centre of it.
9 La terra delle primizie, la qual voi separerete al Signore, avrà per lunghezza venticinque milia (calami), e per larghezza dieci milia.	9 "The portion which you must set aside for Yahweh must be twenty-five thousand cubits long and tenthousand cubits wide.
10 Questa sarà la terra delle primizie de' sacerdoti del santuario; verso l' aquilone per lunghezza sarà di XXV milia (calami), e verso il mare per larghezza dieci milia (calami), e verso l'oriente per larghezza dieci milia (calami), e verso il mezzodì per lunghezza sarà di venticinque milia (calami); e nel mezzo di questa sarà il santuario del Signore.	10 This sacred portion must belong to the priests, being, on the north side, twenty-five thousand cubits;on the west side ten thousand cubits wide, on the east side ten thousand cubits wide and on the south sidetwenty-five thousand cubits long; the sanctuary of Yahweh wil be in the centre of it.
11 E il santuario sarà dato alli sacerdoti figliuoli di Sadoc, i quali custodirono le mie cerimonie, e non errorono, conciosia cosa ch' errassero i figliuoli d' Israel, come errorono anco li leviti.	11 This wil be for the consecrated priests, those of the sons of Zadok who maintained my liturgy and didnot go astray with the straying Israelites, as the Levites went astray.
12 E di quella parte della terra (deputata) le primizie saranno date alli figliuoli di Sadoc sacerdoti (per primizie); e sarà santo de' santi appresso i termini (della terra) de' Leviti.	12 And so their portion must be taken out of the especial y holy portion of the land, near the territory ofthe Levites.
13 Similmente ai Leviti sarà data la sua parte della terra, appo i confini dei sacerdoti, la qual avrà per lunghezza venticinque miglia, e per larghezza dieci miglia. Tutta la lunghezza di queste porzioni sarà di venticinqne miglia, e la larghezza di dieci miglia.	13 The territory of the Levites, like the territory of the priests, must be twenty-five thousand cubits longand ten thousand wide -- the whole length being twenty-five thousand and the width ten thousand.
14 E di queste none venderanno alcuna cosa, nè muteranno, nè saranno transferite queste primizie della terra; però che sono santificate al Signore.	14 It wil be il egal for them to sell or exchange any part of it, and the domain can never be alienated,since it is consecrated to Yahweh.
15 Quella parte di cinque miglia per larghezza e di venticinque per lunghezza, che rimane, sarà luogo non santo, e sarà per abitazione (del popolo, e per edificazione) della città e de' borghi; e la città sarà nel mezzo di questa parte (della terra).	15 As regards the remainder, an area of five thousand cubits by twenty-five thousand, this must be forthe common use of the city, for houses and pastures. In the middle wil be the city.
16 E questa è la misura della città (per quattro lati d'essa): lo lato (della città) che ragguarda alla plaga settentrionale sarà di quattro miglia e mezzo; e lo lato che ragguarda alla plaga meridiana sarà di quattro miglia e mezzo; e lo lato che ragguarda alla plaga orientale sarà di quattro miglia e mezzo; e lo lato contro all' occidente sarà di quattro miglia e mezzo.	16 These wil be its dimensions: on the north side, four thousand five hundred cubits; on the south side,four thousand five hundred cubits; on the east side, four thousand five hundred cubits; on the west side, fourthousand five hundred cubits.
17 E li borghi suoi saranno di questa misura; quello ch' è contra l' aquilone sarà di uno quarto di miglio, e quello ch' è contro al mezzodì sarà di uno quarto di miglio, e quello ch' è contro all'oriente sarà di uno quarto di miglio, e quello che è contro al mare (occidentale) sarà di uno quarto di miglio.	17 The pasture land of the city must extend two hundred and fifty cubits to the north, two hundred andfifty to the south, two hundred and fifty to the east, two hundred and fifty to the west.
18 E quello che resta di questa porzione di terra deputata (per la città, la qual per lunghezza è venticinque miglia, come è la terra deputata) alli sacerdoti e leviti (trando fuori quella parte che sarà occupata per la città e per i suoi borghi) sarà verso l'oriente X miglia (in lunghezza), (e quella ch' è) verso l'occidente altrettanto, come è la parte della terra dove sarà il santuario; e l' entrata che si trarrà di questo resto sarà deputata a quelli ch' edificheranno la città, e che serviranno (continuamente) ad essa.	18 One strip, contiguous to the sacred portion, must be left over, consisting of ten thousand cubits toeastward and ten thousand to westward, marching with the sacred portion; this wil bring in a revenue for feedingthe municipal workmen.
19 Quelli che (edificheranno e) serviranno alla città saranno uomini eletti di tutte le tribù d' Israel.	19 And the municipal workmen, drawn from al the tribes of Israel, wil farm it.
20 Tutta la terra delle primizie, (la quale è quella delli sacerdoti e de' Leviti e della città), sì è per quadro venticinque miglia; e questa sarà separata in la terra del santuario, e in la terra della città.	20 The portion must have a total area of twenty-five thousand cubits by twenty-five thousand. You mustal ocate a square area from the sacred portion to constitute the city.
21 E il residuo che resta sarà del principe, da tutte le parti della terra del santuario e della città, e dalla regione della terra delle primizie per sino al termine orientale sarà di venticinque miglia; ma dalla regione del mare, (cioè dalla parte occidentale), per sino al termine del mare sarà di venticinque miglia, e sarà similmente nella parte del principe; e sarà la terra del santuario, e il santuario del tempio (della città), in mezzo della terra del principe.	21 What is left over wil be for the prince, on either side of the sacred portion and of the property of thecity, marching with the twenty-five thousand cubits to eastward to the eastern frontier, and marching with thetwenty-five thousand cubits to westward to the western frontier -- running paral el with the other portions andbelonging to the prince. In the centre wil be the sacred portion and the sanctuary of the Temple.
22 La possessione de' leviti e la possessione della città sarà in mezzo delle parti (della terra) del principe; e sarà appo il termine (delle terre) di Giuda e di Beniamin, e pertinerà al principe.	22 Thus, apart from the property of the Levites and the property of the city which lie in the middle of theprince's portion, everything between the borders of Judah and the borders of Ben- jamin must belong to theprince.
23 E alle altre tribù: della plaga orientale sino alla plaga occidentale, sarà una parte (della tribù) di Beniamin.	23 "As regards the rest of the tribes: One portion from the eastern limit to the western limit: Benjamin.
24 E dopo il termine (della terra) di Beniamin, dalla plaga orientale insino alla plaga occidentale, sarà una parte (della tribù) di Simeon.	24 One portion bordering Benjamin, from the eastern limit to the western limit: Simeon.
25 E dopo il termine (della terra) di Simeon, dalla plaga orientale sino alla plaga occidentale, sarà una parte d' Issacar.	25 One portion bordering Simeon, from the eastern limit to the western limit: Issachar.
26 E dopo il termine (della terra) d' Issacar, dalla plaga orientale sino alla plaga occidentale, sarà una parte di Zabulon.	26 One portion bordering Issachar, from the eastern limit to the western limit: Zebulun.
27 E dopo il termine (della terra) di Zabulon, dalla plaga orientale sino alla plaga del mare, sarà la parte di Gad.	27 One portion bordering Zebulun, from the eastern limit to the western limit: Gad.
28 E dopo il termine (della terra) di Gad, dalla plaga dell' austro verso il mezzo dì; (è un' altra regione verso lo Egitto); e sarà lo termine (della parte della terra di Gad) da Tamar insino all' acque della contradizione di Cades, la eredità contro il mare. grande.	28 On the southern border of Gad, on the south side, the border will run from Tamar to the Waters ofMeribah in Kadesh, to the Wadi and the Great Sea.
29 Questa è la terra la qual voi misurarete per sorte alle tribù d' Israel; e queste sono le divisioni sue, dice lo Signore Iddio.	29 This is how you must distribute the country to the tribes of Israel as their heritage, and these must betheir portions -- declares the Lord Yahweh.
30 E queste sono l' uscite della città: dalla plaga settentrionale misurerai quattro miglia e mezzo.	30 "Here are the exits from the city. On the north side, four thousand five hundred cubits are to bemeasured off.
31 E le porte della città per [i nomi di] tutte le tribù d' Israel: tre porte saranno alla plaga settentrionale; una porta (alla tribù) di Ruben, una (alla tribù) di Giuda, e una (alla tribù) di Levi.	31 The gates of the city are to be named after the tribes of Israel. Three gates to the north: one the gateof Reuben; one the gate of Judah; one the gate of Levi.
32 E alla plaga orientale misurerai quattro miglia e mezzo; e sarà tre porte; una (alla tribù) di Iosef, una (alla tribù) di Beniamin, e una (alla tribù) di Dan.	32 On the east side, there will be four thousand five hundred cubits and three gates: one the gate ofJoseph; one the gate of Benjamin; one the gate of Dan.
33 E alla plaga meridiana misurerai quattro miglia e mezzo; e sarà [tre porte]; una porta (alla tribù) di Simeon, una (alla tribù) d' Issacar, una (alla tribù) di Zabulon.	33 On the south side, four thousand five hundred cubits are to be measured off, and there are to bethree gates: one the gate of Simeon; one the gate of Issachar; one the gate of Zebulun.
34 E alla plaga occidentale misurerai quattro miglia e mezzo; e ivi saranno tre porte; una porta (alla tribù) di Gad, una (alla tribù) di Aser, e una (alla tribù) di Neftali.	34 On the west side, there wil be four thousand five hundred cubits and three gates: one the gate ofGad; one the gate of Asher; one the gate of Naphtali.
35 E (in questo modo) lo circuito sarà di XVIII miglia; e sarà il nome della città da quel dì in quà; lo Signore in quel luogo.	35 Total perimeter: eighteen thousand cubits. "The name of the city in future must be: Yahweh-is-there."'
