Isaia 61

BIBBIA VOLGARE	NEW JERUSALEM
1 Lo spirito di Dio è sopra me, però che lo Signore hae unto me; ad annunciare alli mansueti ha mandato me, acciò ch' io dèssi medicina alli contriti nel cuore, e per ch' io predicassi alli imprigionati la perdonanza; e alli rinchiusi, che dovea loro essere aperto;	1 The spirit of Lord Yahweh is on me for Yahweh has anointed me. He has sent me to bring the news tothe afflicted, to soothe the broken-hearted,
2 e per che io predicassi l'anno pacifico al Signore, e lo di della vendetta al nostro Iddio; acciò che consolassi tutti quelli che piangono;	2 to proclaim liberty to captives, release to those in prison, to proclaim a year of favour from Yahweh anda day of vengeance for our God, to comfort all who mourn
3 acciò ch' io ponessi la consolazione in coloro i quali (si dolgono e) piangono Sion, e per che io dèssi loro la corona per cenere, e olio d' allegrezza iscambio del pianto, e pallio (cioè veste) d' allegrezza per lo spirito della tristizia; e saranno chiamati in lei tutti li forti di giustizia, e la piantagione del Signore per dare gloria.	3 (to give to Zion's mourners), to give them for ashes a garland, for mourning-dress, the oil of gladness,for despondency, festal attire; and they wil be cal ed 'terebinths of saving justice', planted by Yahweh to glorifyhim.
4 Ed edificheranno li deserti che furono dal cominciamento del mondo, e le rovine antiche dirizzeranno, e ripareranno le cittadi deserte e distrutte in ogni generazione.	4 They wil rebuild the ancient ruins, they wil raise what has long lain waste, they wil restore the ruinedcities, al that has lain waste for ages past.
5 E starannovi li strani, e pasceranno le vostre pecore; e li figliuoli de' peregrini saranno gli lavoratori, e saranno vostri fattori di vigne.	5 Strangers wil come forward to feed your flocks, foreigners be your ploughmen and vinedressers;
6 E voi sarete chiamati sacerdoti del Signore, e sarete detti ministri del nostro Iddio; e mangerete la fortezza delle genti, e piglierete la superbia nella gloria loro.	6 but you will be cal ed 'priests of Yahweh' and be addressed as 'ministers of our God'. You will feed onthe wealth of nations, you wil supplant them in their glory.
7 Per la vostra duplice confusione e vergogna lauderanno la parte loro; e per questo nella sua terra possederanno le cose duplicate, e averanno letizia sempiterna.	7 To make up for your shame, you wil receive double; instead of disgrace, shouts of joy wil be their lot;yes, they wil have a double portion in their country and everlasting joy wil be theirs.
8 Però ch' io sono lo Signore, che amo lo giudicio, e che hoe in odio la rapina nel sacrificio; e darò la loro opera nella veritade, e farò con loro patto sempiterno.	8 For I am Yahweh: I love fair judgement, I hate robbery and wrong-doing, and I shal reward themfaithful y and make an everlasting covenant with them.
9 E lo loro seme sarà (conosciuto e) saputo tra le genti, e lo loro germoglio sarà nel mezzo delli populi; quelli che li vederanno, li conosceranno, però che questi sono quello seme al quale Dio diede la sua benedizione.	9 Their race wil be famous throughout the nations and their offspring throughout the peoples. All whosee them wil admit that they are a race whom Yahweh has blessed.
10 Io, avendo allegrezza, mi rallegrerò in Dio, e la mia anima porterà gioconditate nel mio Iddio; però ch' elli vestie me di vestimento di salute, circondò me di vestimento di giustizia, (e adornò me) come sposo adornato di corona, e come isposa adornata delle sue gioie.	10 I exult for joy in Yahweh, my soul rejoices in my God, for he has clothed me in garments of salvation,he has wrapped me in a cloak of saving justice, like a bridegroom wearing his garland, like a bride adorned inher jewels.
11 Però che come la terra dae lo suo frutto, e sì come l'orto germina lo suo seme, così lo nostro Signore Iddio metterà fuori la giustizia e la sua laude dinanzi a tutte le genti.	11 For as the earth sends up its shoots and a garden makes seeds sprout, so Lord Yahweh makessaving justice and praise spring up in the sight of al nations.
