Isaia 52

BIBBIA VOLGARE	DOUAI-RHEIMS
1 Lèvati suso, e vèstiti la tua fortezza, Sion; e vèstiti li vestimenti della tua gloria, tu Ierusalem, città di santo; però che non consentirà che passi per te lo incirconciso e l' uomo immondo.	1 Arise, arise, put on thy strength, O Sion, put on the garments of thy glory, O Jerusalem, the city of the Holy One: for henceforth the uncircumcised, and unclean shall no more pass through thee.
2 Scuotiti la polvere, e lèvati suso, e siedi, tu Ierusalem; e sciogliti lo legame del tuo collo, tu figliuola di Sion, che se' prigione.	2 Shake thyself from the dust, arise, sit up, O Jerusalem: loose the bonds from off thy neck, O captive daughter of Sion.
3 Però che questo dice lo Signore: voi siete venduti in dono, e sarete ricomperati sanza argento.	3 For thus saith the Lord: You were sold gratis, and you shall be redeemed without money.
4 Però che questo dice lo Signore: lo mio populo scese in Egitto nel principio, acciò ch' elli potesse abitare ivi; e Assur sanza alcuna cagione gli fece calunnia.	4 For thus saith the Lord God: My people went down into Egypt at the beginning to sojourn there: and the Assyrian hath oppressed them without any cause at all.
5 E ora che è questo a me? però che lo mio populo è tolto via in dono; li suoi signoreggiatori si portano malvagiamente, dice lo Signore, e bestemiano tutto di continuamente lo mio nome.	5 And now what have I here, saith the Lord: for my people is taken away gratis. They that rule over them treat them unjustly, saith the Lord, and my name is continually blasphemed all the day long.
6 E per questo lo mio populo saprà lo mio nome in quello dì; però ch' io medesimo, che parlava, sono presente.	6 Therefore my people shall know my name in that day: for I myself that spoke, behold I am here.
7 Però che belli sono li piedi dello annunciante sopra li monti e del predicante la pace, dello annunciante lo bene e predicante la salute, e dicente: o Sion, lo tuo Signore Iddio regnerà.	7 How beautiful upon the mountains are the feet of him that bringeth good tidings, and that preacheth peace: of him that sheweth forth good, that preacheth salvation, that saith to Sion: Thy God shall reign!
8 La voce delli tuoi guardiani (cioè delli torrigiani): levarono la voce, e diedono laude insieme; però che vederanno collo occhio all' occhio, quando lo Signore averà convertito Sion.	8 The voice of thy watchmen: they have lifted up their voice, they shah praise together: for they shall see eye to eye when the Lord shall convert Sion
9 Rallegratevi e lodate insieme, voi deserti di Ierusalem; però che lo Signore hae consolato il populo suo, e ricomperò Ierusalem.	9 Rejoice, and give praise together, O ye deserts of Jerusalem: for the Lord hath comforted his people: he hath redeemed Jerusalem.
10 Preparò lo Signore lo suo santo braccio nelli occhi di tutte le genti; e vederanno tutte le fini della terra la salute del nostro Signore Iddio.	10 The Lord hath prepared his holy arm in the sight of all the Gentiles: and all the ends of the earth shall see the salvation of our God.
11 Partitevi, e uscite indi, e non toccate lo corrotto; e uscite di mezzo di lui; nettatevi, voi i quali portate i vasi del Signore.	11 Depart, depart, go ye out from thence, touch no unclean thing: go out of the midst of her, be ye clean, you that carry the vessels of the Lord.
12 Però che non uscirete fuori nel tumulto, e non affretterete nella fuga, (quasi dica che debbono stare netti, acciò che non si bruttino e non vadano nella calca, acciò che non si guastino e non vadano in fuga, acciò che non caggiano); però che lo Signore anderà innanzi, e lo Signore Iddio d' Israel vi radunerà.	12 For you shall not go out in a tumult, neither shall you make haste by flight: For the Lord will go before you, and the God of Israel will gather you together.
13 Ecco che lo mio servo intenderà, e sarà esaltato e levato in alto.	13 Behold my servant shall understand, he shall be exalted, and extolled, and shall be exceeding high.
14 E sì come si maravigliarono di lui, così sarà tra li uomini più glorioso lo [suo] aspetto, e la sua forma tra li figliuoli degli uomini.	14 As many have been astonished at thee, so shall his visage be inglorious among men, and his form among the sons of men.
15 Questo bagnerà molte genti, e li re taceranno con la bocca loro sopra lui; però che coloro a' quali non è narrato di lui, questi vederono (di lui); e quelli che non l'udirono, lo contemplarono.	15 He shall sprinkle many nations, kings shall shut their mouth at him: for they to whom it was not told of him, have seen: and they that heard not, have beheld.
