1 Nella fine il salmo del cantico di David	1 [For the choirmaster For strings Psalm Of David] When I cal , answer me, God, upholder of my right. Inmy distress you have set me at large; take pity on me and hear my prayer!
2 O Iddio della mia giustizia, tu esaudisti me quando io ti appellai; nella tribulazione tu (apristi e) dilatasti il cuore mio. Signore, abbi misericordia di me, e fa che tu esaudischi l'orazion mia.	2 Children of men, how long will you be heavy of heart, why love what is vain and chase afteril usions?Pause
3 O figliuoli degli uomini, fino a quanto durerà questa vostra gravezza di cuore? perchè amate voi la vanità, e andate cercando menzogne?	3 Realise that Yahweh performs wonders for his faithful, Yahweh listens when I call to him.
4 Anco sappiate che Iddio ha fatto maraviglioso il santo suo; Iddio m' udirà, quando griderò a lui.	4 Be careful not to sin, speak in your hearts, and on your beds keep silence.Pause
5 Corucciatevi, e non vogliate peccare; abbiate compunzione di ciò che voi dite dentro dai vostri cuori, quando voi siete nelli vostri letti.	5 Loyally offer sacrifices, and trust in Yahweh.
6 Sacrificate sacrificio di giustizia, e sperate nel Signore. Molti dicono: chi dimostra a noi il bene?	6 Many keep saying, 'Who wil put happiness before our eyes?' Let the light of your face shine on us.Yahweh,
7 Signore, il [lume del] tuo volto è segnato sopra di noi; tu hai dato letizia nel mio cuore.	7 to my heart you are a richer joy than al their corn and new wine.
8 Dal frutto del frumento, del vino e dell' olio suoi sono moltiplicati.	8 In peace I lie down and at once fall asleep, for it is you and none other, Yahweh, who make me restsecure.
9 Nella pace in lui medesimo dormirò, e riposerommi.
10 Però che tu, Signore, singolarmente in speranza m' hai constituito (e stabilito).
