Vaikrà (ויקרא) - Levitico 3

1 וְאִם־זֶבַח שְׁלָמִים קָרְבָּנֹו אִם מִן־הַבָּקָר הוּא מַקְרִיב אִם־זָכָר אִם־נְקֵבָה תָּמִים יַקְרִיבֶנּוּ לִפְנֵי יְהוָה	1 ' "If his sacrifice is a communion sacrifice, and if he offers an animal from the herd, be it male or female,whatever he offers before Yahweh must be unblemished.
2 וְסָמַךְ יָדֹו עַל־רֹאשׁ קָרְבָּנֹו וּשְׁחָטֹו פֶּתַח אֹהֶל מֹועֵד וְזָרְקוּ בְּנֵי אַהֲרֹן הַכֹּהֲנִים אֶת־הַדָּם עַל־הַמִּזְבֵּחַ סָבִיב	2 He wil lay his hand on the victim's head and slaughter it at the entrance to the Tent of Meeting. Thepriests descended from Aaron wil then pour the blood al around the altar.
3 וְהִקְרִיב מִזֶּבַח הַשְּׁלָמִים אִשֶּׁה לַיהוָה אֶת־הַחֵלֶב הַמְכַסֶּה אֶת־הַקֶּרֶב וְאֵת כָּל־הַחֵלֶב אֲשֶׁר עַל־הַקֶּרֶב	3 He wil offer part of the communion sacrifice as food burnt for Yahweh: the fat covering the entrails, althe fat on the entrails,
4 וְאֵת שְׁתֵּי הַכְּלָיֹת וְאֶת־הַחֵלֶב אֲשֶׁר עֲלֵהֶן אֲשֶׁר עַל־הַכְּסָלִים וְאֶת־הַיֹּתֶרֶת עַל־הַכָּבֵד עַל־הַכְּלָיֹות יְסִירֶנָּה	4 both kidneys, the fat on them and on the loins, the mass of fat which he wil remove from the liver andkidneys.
5 וְהִקְטִירוּ אֹתֹו בְנֵי־אַהֲרֹן הַמִּזְבֵּחָה עַל־הָעֹלָה אֲשֶׁר עַל־הָעֵצִים אֲשֶׁר עַל־הָאֵשׁ אִשֵּׁה רֵיחַ נִיחֹחַ לַיהוָה׃ פ	5 The priests descended from Aaron will then burn this on the altar, in addition to the burnt offering, on thewood of the fire, food burnt as a smel pleasing to Yahweh.
6 וְאִם־מִן־הַצֹּאן קָרְבָּנֹו לְזֶבַח שְׁלָמִים לַיהוָה זָכָר אֹו נְקֵבָה תָּמִים יַקְרִיבֶנּוּ	6 "If it is an animal from the flock which he offers as a communion sacrifice to Yahweh, be the animal thathe offers male or female, it must be unblemished.
7 אִם־כֶּשֶׂב הוּא־מַקְרִיב אֶת־קָרְבָּנֹו וְהִקְרִיב אֹתֹו לִפְנֵי יְהוָה	7 "If he offers a sheep, he wil offer it before Yahweh,
8 וְסָמַךְ אֶת־יָדֹו עַל־רֹאשׁ קָרְבָּנֹו וְשָׁחַט אֹתֹו לִפְנֵי אֹהֶל מֹועֵד וְזָרְקוּ בְּנֵי אַהֲרֹן אֶת־דָּמֹו עַל־הַמִּזְבֵּחַ סָבִיב	8 he wil lay his hand on the victim's head and slaughter it in front of the Tent of Meeting; the priestsdescended from Aaron wil then pour its blood al around the altar.
9 וְהִקְרִיב מִזֶּבַח הַשְּׁלָמִים אִשֶּׁה לַיהוָה חֶלְבֹּו הָאַלְיָה תְמִימָה לְעֻמַּת הֶעָצֶה יְסִירֶנָּה וְאֶת־הַחֵלֶב הַמְכַסֶּה אֶת־הַקֶּרֶב וְאֵת כָּל־הַחֵלֶב אֲשֶׁר עַל־הַקֶּרֶב	9 Of the communion sacrifice he wil offer the fol owing as food burnt for Yahweh: the fat, al the tail takenoff near the base of the spine, the fat covering the entrails, al the fat on the entrails,
10 וְאֵת שְׁתֵּי הַכְּלָיֹת וְאֶת־הַחֵלֶב אֲשֶׁר עֲלֵהֶן אֲשֶׁר עַל־הַכְּסָלִים וְאֶת־הַיֹּתֶרֶת עַל־הַכָּבֵד עַל־הַכְּלָיֹת יְסִירֶנָּה	10 both kidneys, the fat on them and on the loins, the mass of fat which he wil remove from the liver andkidneys.
11 וְהִקְטִירֹו הַכֹּהֵן הַמִּזְבֵּחָה לֶחֶם אִשֶּׁה לַיהוָה׃ פ	11 The priest wil then burn this on the altar as food, as food burnt for Yahweh.
12 וְאִם עֵז קָרְבָּנֹו וְהִקְרִיבֹו לִפְנֵי יְהוָה	12 "If his offering is a goat, he will offer it before Yahweh,
13 וְסָמַךְ אֶת־יָדֹו עַל־רֹאשֹׁו וְשָׁחַט אֹתֹו לִפְנֵי אֹהֶל מֹועֵד וְזָרְקוּ בְּנֵי אַהֲרֹן אֶת־דָּמֹו עַל־הַמִּזְבֵּחַ סָבִיב	13 he wil lay his hand on the victim's head and slaughter it in front of the Tent of Meeting, and thedescendants of Aaron wil then pour its blood al around the altar.
14 וְהִקְרִיב מִמֶּנּוּ קָרְבָּנֹו אִשֶּׁה לַיהוָה אֶת־הַחֵלֶב הַמְכַסֶּה אֶת־הַקֶּרֶב וְאֵת כָּל־הַחֵלֶב אֲשֶׁר עַל־הַקֶּרֶב	14 This is what he wil then offer of it as food burnt for Yahweh: the fat covering the entrails, al the fat onthe entrails,
15 וְאֵת שְׁתֵּי הַכְּלָיֹת וְאֶת־הַחֵלֶב אֲשֶׁר עֲלֵהֶן אֲשֶׁר עַל־הַכְּסָלִים וְאֶת־הַיֹּתֶרֶת עַל־הַכָּבֵד עַל־הַכְּלָיֹת יְסִירֶנָּה	15 both kidneys, the fat on them and on the loins, the mass of fat which he wil remove from the liver andkidneys.
16 וְהִקְטִירָם הַכֹּהֵן הַמִּזְבֵּחָה לֶחֶם אִשֶּׁה לְרֵיחַ נִיחֹחַ כָּל־חֵלֶב לַיהוָה	16 The priest wil then burn these pieces on the altar as food burnt as a smel pleasing to Yahweh. "All thefat belongs to Yahweh.
17 חֻקַּת עֹולָם לְדֹרֹתֵיכֶם בְּכֹל מֹושְׁבֹתֵיכֶם כָּל־חֵלֶב וְכָל־דָּם לֹא תֹאכֵלוּ׃ פ	17 This is a perpetual law for al your descendants, wherever you may live: that you will not eat either fator blood." '
