1 וּבִנְיָמִן הֹולִיד אֶת־בֶּלַע בְּכֹרֹו אַשְׁבֵּל הַשֵּׁנִי וְאַחְרַח הַשְּׁלִישִׁי	1 Benjamin was father of Bela, his first-born, Ashbel second, Ahiram third,
2 נֹוחָה הָרְבִיעִי וְרָפָא הַחֲמִישִׁי׃ ס	2 Nohah fourth, Rapha fifth.
3 וַיִּהְיוּ בָנִים לְבָלַע אַדָּר וְגֵרָא וַאֲבִיהוּד	3 Bela had sons: Addar, Gera father of Ehud,
4 וַאֲבִישׁוּעַ וְנַעֲמָן וַאֲחֹוחַ	4 Abishua, Naaman, Ahoah,
5 וְגֵרָא וּשְׁפוּפָן וְחוּרָם	5 Gera, Shephuphan and Huram.
6 וְאֵלֶּה בְּנֵי אֵחוּד אֵלֶּה הֵם רָאשֵׁי אָבֹות לְיֹושְׁבֵי גֶבַע וַיַּגְלוּם אֶל־מָנָחַת	6 These are the sons of Ehud. They were heads of families of the inhabitants of Geba and led them intoexile at Manahath:
7 וְנַעֲמָן וַאֲחִיָּה וְגֵרָא הוּא הֶגְלָם וְהֹולִיד אֶת־עֻזָּא וְאֶת־אֲחִיחֻד	7 Naaman, Ahijah and Gera. It was he who led them into exile; he became the father of Uzza andAhihud.
8 וְשַׁחֲרַיִם הֹולִיד בִּשְׂדֵה מֹואָב מִן־שִׁלְחֹו אֹתָם חוּשִׁים וְאֶת־בַּעֲרָא נָשָׁיו	8 Shaharaim had children in the Plains of Moab after he had dismissed his wives, Hushim and Baara.
9 וַיֹּולֶד מִן־חֹדֶשׁ אִשְׁתֹּו אֶת־יֹובָב וְאֶת־צִבְיָא וְאֶת־מֵישָׁא וְאֶת־מַלְכָּם	9 By his new wife he had sons: Jobab, Zibia, Mesha, Malcam,
10 וְאֶת־יְעוּץ וְאֶת־שָׂכְיָה וְאֶת־מִרְמָה אֵלֶּה בָנָיו רָאשֵׁי אָבֹות	10 Jeuz, Sachia, Mirmah. These were his sons, heads of families.
11 וּמֵחֻשִׁים הֹולִיד אֶת־אֲבִיטוּב וְאֶת־אֶלְפָּעַל	11 By Hushim he had sons: Abitub and Elpaal.
12 וּבְנֵי אֶלְפַּעַל עֵבֶר וּמִשְׁעָם וָשָׁמֶד הוּא בָּנָה אֶת־אֹונֹו וְאֶת־לֹד וּבְנֹתֶיהָ	12 The sons of Elpaal were Eber, Misham and Shemed, who built Ono and Lud and its dependencies.
13 וּבְרִעָה וָשֶׁמַע הֵמָּה רָאשֵׁי הָאָבֹות לְיֹושְׁבֵי אַיָּלֹון הֵמָּה הִבְרִיחוּ אֶת־יֹושְׁבֵי גַת	13 Beriah and Shema were the chiefs of the families who lived at Aijalon; they routed the inhabitants ofGath.
14 וְאַחְיֹו שָׁשָׁק וִירֵמֹות	14 His brother was Shashak. Jeremoth,
15 וּזְבַדְיָה וַעֲרָד וָעָדֶר	15 Zebadiah, Arad, Eder,
16 וּמִיכָאֵל וְיִשְׁפָּה וְיֹוחָא בְּנֵי בְרִיעָה	16 Michael, Ishpah, Joha were the sons of Beriah.
17 וּזְבַדְיָה וּמְשֻׁלָּם וְחִזְקִי וָחָבֶר	17 Zebadiah, Meshul am, Hizki, Haber,
18 וְיִשְׁמְרַי וְיִזְלִיאָה וְיֹובָב בְּנֵי אֶלְפָּעַל	18 Ishmerai, Izliah, Jobab were the sons of Elpaal.
19 וְיָקִים וְזִכְרִי וְזַבְדִּי	19 Jakim, Zichri, Zabdi,
20 וֶאֱלִיעֵנַי וְצִלְּתַי וֶאֱלִיאֵל	20 Elienai, Zillethai, Eliel,
21 וַעֲדָיָה וּבְרָאיָה וְשִׁמְרָת בְּנֵי שִׁמְעִי	21 Adaiah, Beraiah, Shimrath were the sons of Shimei.
22 וְיִשְׁפָּן וָעֵבֶר וֶאֱלִיאֵל	22 Ishpan, Eber, Eliel,
23 וְעַבְדֹּון וְזִכְרִי וְחָנָן	23 Abdon, Zichri, Hanan,
24 וַחֲנַנְיָה וְעֵילָם וְעַנְתֹתִיָּה	24 Hananiah, Elam, Anthothijah,
25 וְיִפְדְיָה [וּפְנִיאֵל כ] (וּפְנוּאֵל ק) בְּנֵי שָׁשָׁק	25 Iphdeiah, Penuel were the sons of Shashak.
26 וְשַׁמְשְׁרַי וּשְׁחַרְיָה וַעֲתַלְיָה	26 Shamsherai, Shehariah, Athaliah,
27 וְיַעֲרֶשְׁיָה וְאֵלִיָּה וְזִכְרִי בְּנֵי יְרֹחָם	27 Jaareshaiah, Elijah, Zichri were the sons of Jeroham.
28 אֵלֶּה רָאשֵׁי אָבֹות לְתֹלְדֹותָם רָאשִׁים אֵלֶּה יָשְׁבוּ בִירוּשָׁלִָם׃ ס	28 These were chiefs of families according to their relationship. They lived in Jerusalem.
29 וּבְגִבְעֹון יָשְׁבוּ אֲבִי גִבְעֹון וְשֵׁם אִשְׁתֹּו מַעֲכָה	29 At Gibeon lived Jeiel the father of Gibeon, whose wife was cal ed Maacah.
30 וּבְנֹו הַבְּכֹור עַבְדֹּון וְצוּר וְקִישׁ וּבַעַל וְנָדָב	30 His first-born son was Abdon, then Zur, Kish, Baal, Ner, Nadab,
31 וּגְדֹור וְאַחְיֹו וָזָכֶר	31 Gedor, Ahio, Zecher
32 וּמִקְלֹות הֹולִיד אֶת־שִׁמְאָה וְאַף־הֵמָּה נֶגֶד אֲחֵיהֶם יָשְׁבוּ בִירוּשָׁלִַם עִם־אֲחֵיהֶם׃ ס	32 and Mikloth. Mikloth fathered Shimeah. But they, unlike their brothers, lived at Jerusalem with theirbrothers.
33 וְנֵר הֹולִיד אֶת־קִישׁ וְקִישׁ הֹולִיד אֶת־שָׁאוּל וְשָׁאוּל הֹולִיד אֶת־יְהֹונָתָן וְאֶת־מַלְכִּי־שׁוּעַ וְאֶת־אֲבִינָדָב וְאֶת־אֶשְׁבָּעַל	33 Ner fathered Kish, Kish fathered Saul, Saul fathered Jonathan, Malchishua, Abinadab and Eshbaal.
34 וּבֶן־יְהֹונָתָן מְרִיב בָּעַל וּמְרִיב בַּעַל הֹולִיד אֶת־מִיכָה׃ ס	34 Son of Jonathan: Meribbaal. Meribbaal fathered Micah.
35 וּבְנֵי מִיכָה פִּיתֹון וָמֶלֶךְ וְתַאְרֵעַ וְאָחָז	35 Sons of Micah: Pithon, Melech, Tarea, Ahaz.
36 וְאָחָז הֹולִיד אֶת־יְהֹועַדָּה וִיהֹועַדָּה הֹולִיד אֶת־עָלֶמֶת וְאֶת־עַזְמָוֶת וְאֶת־זִמְרִי וְזִמְרִי הֹולִיד אֶת־מֹוצָא	36 Ahaz fathered Jehoaddah, Jehoaddah fathered Alemeth, Azmaveth and Zimri. Zimri fathered Moza,
37 וּמֹוצָא הֹולִיד אֶת־בִּנְעָא רָפָה בְנֹו אֶלְעָשָׂה בְנֹו אָצֵל בְּנֹו	37 Moza fathered Binea, Raphah his son, Eleasah his son and Azel his son.
38 וּלְאָצֵל שִׁשָּׁה בָנִים וְאֵלֶּה שְׁמֹותָם עַזְרִיקָם ׀ בֹּכְרוּ וְיִשְׁמָעֵאל וּשְׁעַרְיָה וְעֹבַדְיָה וְחָנָן כָּל־אֵלֶּה בְּנֵי אָצַל	38 Azel had six sons, whose names were these: Azrikam, his first-born, then Ishmael, Sheariah,Obadiah, Hanan. All these were sons of Azel.
39 וּבְנֵי עֵשֶׁק אָחִיו אוּלָם בְּכֹרֹו יְעוּשׁ הַשֵּׁנִי וֶאֱלִיפֶלֶט הַשְּׁלִשִׁי	39 Sons of Eshek his brother: Ulam, his first-born, Jeush second, Eliphelet third.
40 וַיִּהְיוּ בְנֵי־אוּלָם אֲנָשִׁים גִּבֹּרֵי־חַיִל דֹּרְכֵי קֶשֶׁת וּמַרְבִּים בָּנִים וּבְנֵי בָנִים מֵאָה וַחֲמִשִּׁים כָּל־אֵלֶּה מִבְּנֵי בִנְיָמִן׃ פ	40 The sons of Ulam were warriors-archers. They had as many as a hundred and fifty sons andgrandsons. All these belonged to the sons of Benjamin.
