SAGRADA BIBLIA	NEW JERUSALEM

16 os frutos excelentes da terra, e tudo o que ela contém! Possa o favor daquele que habitou na sarça repousar sobre a cabeça de José, sobre a fronte do eleito entre os irmãos!	16 the best of the land and al it holds, the favour of him who dwells in the Bush. May the hair grow thickon the head of Joseph, on the brow of the consecrated one among his brothers!

25 Teus ferrolhos serão de ferro e bronze, e tua segurança durará toda a tua existência.	25 Be your bolts of iron and of bronze and your security as lasting as your days!
26 Ninguém como o Deus de Jesurum,	26 No one is like the God of Jeshurun: he rides the heavens to your rescue, rides the clouds in hismajesty!
27 o Deus dos tempos antigos que é o teu refúgio e teu apoio os seus braços eternos, que, para te socorrer, cavalga os céus e as nuvens majestosamente. 29 Tu és feliz, ó Israel! Quem é, como tu, povo salvo pelo Senhor, escudo que te protege, espada que te engrandece? Teus inimigos virão adular-te, mas tu pisarás por cima deles.	29 Blessed are you, O Israel! Who is like you, O victorious people? Yahweh is the shield that protectsyou and the sword that leads you to triumph. Your enemies wil try to corrupt you, but you yourself wil trample ontheir backs.
