Seconda lettera ai Corinzi 9

LA SACRA BIBBIA	NEW JERUSALEM
1 Riguardo poi a questo servizio in favore dei santi, è superfluo che ve ne scriva.	1 About the help to God's holy people, there is real y no need for me to write to you;
2 Conosco bene la vostra disposizione e ne faccio vanto con i Macedoni, dicendo che l'Acaia è pronta fin dallo scorso anno, e già molti sono stati stimolati dal vostro zelo.	2 for I am well aware of your enthusiasm, and I have been boasting of it to the Macedonians that 'Achaiahas been ready for a year'; your enthusiasm has been a spur to many others.

8 E Dio può riversare su di voi ogni sorta di grazie, così che, avendo ogni autosufficienza in tutto e sempre, possiate compiere generosamente tutte le opere di bene,	8 God is perfectly able to enrich you with every grace, so that you always have enough for everyconceivable need, and your resources overflow in al kinds of good work.
9 come sta scritto: largheggiò, donò ai poveri; la sua giustizia dura nei secoli.	9 As scripture says: To the needy he gave without stint, his uprightness stands firm for ever.
10 E colui che somministra la semente al seminatore e il pane per il nutrimento, somministrerà e moltiplicherà a voi la semente e farà crescere i frutti della vostra giustizia.	10 The one who so freely provides seed for the sower and food to eat will provide you with ample store ofseed for sowing and make the harvest of your uprightness a bigger one:
11 Allora sarete ricchi per ogni largizione, e questa farà salire a Dio l'inno del ringraziamento per merito vostro.	11 you wil be rich enough in every way for every kind of generosity that makes people thank God forwhat we have done.
12 Giacché il servizio di questa prestazione sacra non solo sovviene alla necessità dei santi, ma sarà fecondo di molti ringraziamenti a Dio.	12 For the help provided by this contribution not only satisfies the needs of God's holy people, but alsooverflows into widespread thanksgiving to God;
13 Per la bella prova di questo servizio essi ringrazieranno Dio per la vostra ubbidienza e accettazione del vangelo di Cristo, e per la generosità della vostra comunione con loro e con tutti;	13 because when you have proved your quality by this help, they wil give glory to God for the obediencewhich you show in professing the gospel of Christ, as well as for the generosity of your fel owship towards themand towards al .
