1 Beati quelli la cui via è perfetta, quelli che camminano nella legge del Signore.	1 Happy those whose way is blameless, who walk by the teaching of the LORD.
2 Beati quelli che osservano i suoi voleri e lo cercano con tutto il cuore.	2 Happy those who observe God's decrees, who seek the LORD with all their heart.
3 Sicuramente non commettono iniquità, ma camminano nelle sue vie.	3 They do no wrong; they walk in God's ways.
4 Tu hai ordinato di custodir bene i tuoi comandi.	4 You have given them the command to keep your precepts with care.
5 Siano stabili le mie vie affinché custodisca i tuoi decreti.	5 May my ways be firm in the observance of your laws!
6 Allora non dovrò arrossire, se avrò obbedito ai tuoi precetti.	6 Then I will not be ashamed to ponder all your commands.
7 Ti renderò grazie con cuore retto, allorché avrò appreso le tue giuste sentenze.	7 I will praise you with sincere heart as I study your just edicts.
8 Custodirò i tuoi decreti: non abbandonarmi giammai.	8 I will keep your laws; do not leave me all alone.
9 In che modo potrà un giovane tener puro il suo sentiero? Custodendo le tue parole.	9 How can the young walk without fault? Only by keeping your words.
10 Con tutto il cuore ti cerco: non farmi deviare dai tuoi precetti.	10 With all my heart I seek you; do not let me stray from your commands.
11 Conservo nel mio cuore le tue promesse, in modo che non pecchi contro di te.	11 In my heart I treasure your promise, that I may not sin against you.
12 Benedetto sii tu, Signore: insegnami i tuoi decreti.	12 Blessed are you, O LORD; teach me your laws.
13 Enumero con le mie labbra tutti i giudizi della tua bocca.	13 With my lips I recite all the edicts you have spoken.
14 Nella via dei tuoi voleri io pongo la mia gioia, al di sopra di ogni altro bene.	14 I find joy in the way of your decrees more than in all riches.
15 Voglio riflettere sui tuoi comandi, considerare le tue vie.	15 I will ponder your precepts and consider your paths.
16 La mia gioia è nei tuoi decreti, non dimenticherò le tue parole.	16 In your laws I take delight; I will never forget your word.
17 Sii benevolo con il tuo servo: vivrò e custodirò le tue parole.	17 Be kind to your servant that I may live, that I may keep your word.
18 Apri i miei occhi, perché io veda le meraviglie della tua legge.	18 Open my eyes to see clearly the wonders of your teachings.
19 Pellegrino io sono sulla terra: non tenermi nascosti i tuoi precetti.	19 I am a sojourner in the land; do not hide your commands from me.
20 Si consuma la mia anima di desiderio verso i tuoi giudizi, in ogni tempo.	20 At all times my soul is stirred with longing for your edicts.
21 Tu hai minacciato gli orgogliosi: maledetti quelli che deviano dai tuoi precetti.	21 With a curse you rebuke the proud who stray from your commands.
22 Allontana da me vergogna e disprezzo, poiché ho osservato i tuoi voleri.	22 Free me from disgrace and contempt, for I observe your decrees.
23 Siedono i potenti e sparlano di me; ma il tuo servo medita sui tuoi decreti.	23 Though princes meet and talk against me, your servant studies your laws.
24 I tuoi voleri sono la mia gioia, essi sono i miei consiglieri.	24 Your decrees are my delight; they are my counselors.
25 Prostrata nella polvere è l'anima mia: ridammi vita secondo le tue parole.	25 I lie prostrate in the dust; give me life in accord with your word.
26 Ti ho esposto le mie vie e mi hai dato risposta; insegnami i tuoi decreti.	26 I disclosed my ways and you answered me; teach me your laws.
27 La via dei tuoi comandi fammi capire: voglio meditare le tue meraviglie.	27 Make me understand the way of your precepts; I will ponder your wondrous deeds.
28 L'anima mia piange per la tristezza: dammi vigore secondo le tue parole.	28 I weep in bitter pain; in accord with your word to strengthen me.
29 La via della menzogna tieni lontano da me; fammi dono della tua legge.	29 Lead me from the way of deceit; favor me with your teaching.
30 La via della fedeltà ho scelto, ho preferito i tuoi giudizi.	30 The way of loyalty I have chosen; I have set your edicts before me. <
31 Ho aderito ai tuoi voleri: fa', Signore, che io non rimanga confuso.	31 I cling to your decrees, LORD; do not let me come to shame.
32 Io percorro la via dei tuoi precetti; sì, tu dilati il mio cuore.	32 I will run the way of your commands, for you open my docile heart.
33 Insegnami, Signore, la via dei tuoi decreti: voglio seguirla sino alla fine.	33 LORD, teach me the way of your laws; I shall observe them with care.
34 Dammi intelligenza per osservare la tua legge e custodirla con tutto il cuore.	34 Give me insight to observe your teaching, to keep it with all my heart.
35 Dirigimi sul sentiero dei tuoi precetti; sì, sta in esso il mio diletto.	35 Lead me in the path of your commands, for that is my delight.
36 Piega il mio cuore verso i tuoi voleri e non verso la sete di guadagno.	36 Direct my heart toward your decrees and away from unjust gain.
37 Distogli i miei occhi dallo scorgere cose vane; fammi vivere sulla tua via.	37 Avert my eyes from what is worthless; by your way give me life.
38 Conferma per il tuo servo la tua promessa, quella che conduce al tuo timore.	38 For your servant fulfill your promise made to those who fear you.
39 Allontana l'insulto che mi dà sgomento; sì, sono buoni i tuoi giudizi.	39 Turn away from me the taunts I dread, for your edicts bring good.
40 Ecco, io anelo verso i tuoi comandi: fammi vivere nella tua giustizia.	40 See how I long for your precepts; in your justice give me life.
41 A me giunga, Signore, la tua misericordia, la tua salvezza, secondo la tua promessa.	41 Let your love come to me, LORD, salvation in accord with your promise.
42 A chi m'insulta saprò rispondere, poiché ho fiducia nella tua parola.	42 Let me answer my taunters with a word, for I trust in your word.
43 Non sottrarre dalla mia bocca la parola di verità, poiché ho speranza nel tuo giudizio.	43 Do not take the word of truth from my mouth, for in your edicts is my hope.
44 Custodirò sempre la tua legge nei secoli, in eterno.	44 I will keep your teachings always, for all time and forever.
45 Camminerò con sicurezza; sì, io cerco i tuoi comandi.	45 I will walk freely in an open space because I cherish your precepts.
46 Davanti ai re parlerò dei tuoi voleri, senza mai vergognarmi.	46 I will speak openly of your decrees without fear even before kings.
47 Gioirò per i tuoi precetti: io li amo molto.	47 I delight in your commands, which I dearly love.
48 Alzerò le mie mani verso i tuoi precetti che amo e mediterò sui tuoi decreti.	48 I lift up my hands to your commands; I study your laws, which I love.
49 Ricordati della parola data al tuo servo: con essa tu mi hai dato speranza.	49 Remember your word to your servant by which you give me hope.
50 Questo mi ha consolato nella mia miseria; sì, la tua promessa mi ha fatto rivivere.	50 This is my comfort in affliction, your promise that gives me life.
51 Mi hanno insultato aspramente i superbi; non ho deviato dalla tua legge.	51 Though the arrogant utterly scorn me, I do not turn from your teaching.
52 Mi sono ricordato, Signore, dei tuoi eterni giudizi: ne sono rimasto consolato.	52 When I recite your edicts of old I am comforted, LORD.
53 Lo sdegno mi ha preso contro gli empi, poiché non si curano della tua legge.	53 Rage seizes me because of the wicked; they forsake your teaching.
54 Son canti per me i tuoi voleri nella terra del mio pellegrinaggio.	54 Your laws become my songs wherever I make my home.
55 Nella notte, Signore, ricordo il tuo nome; voglio custodire la tua legge.	55 Even at night I remember your name in observance of your teaching, LORD.
56 Questo mi avviene, perché osservo i tuoi precetti.	56 This is my good fortune, for I have observed your precepts.

60 Mi affretto, non voglio tardare nel custodire i tuoi precetti.	60 I am prompt, I do not hesitate in keeping your commands.
61 Mi hanno avvinto i lacci degli empi, ma non dimentico la tua legge.	61 Though the snares of the wicked surround me, your teaching I do not forget.
62 Nel cuore della notte mi alzo per renderti grazie a causa dei tuoi giusti giudizi.	62 At midnight I rise to praise you because your edicts are just.
63 Sono amico di tutti quelli che ti temono e di quelli che custodiscono i tuoi comandi.	63 I am the friend of all who fear you, of all who keep your precepts.
64 Della tua misericordia, Signore, è piena la terra: fa' che apprenda i tuoi decreti.	64 The earth, LORD, is filled with your love; teach me your laws.
65 Hai beneficato il tuo servo, Signore, secondo la tua parola.	65 You have treated your servant well, according to your word, O LORD.
66 Insegnami buon senso e conoscenza: sì, sto saldo nei tuoi precetti.	66 Teach me wisdom and knowledge, for in your commands I trust.
67 Prima che fossi umiliato andavo errando. Ora mi attengo alla tua promessa.	67 Before I was afflicted I went astray, but now I hold to your promise.
68 Tu sei buono e tratti con benevolenza: insegnami i tuoi decreti.	68 You are good and do what is good; teach me your laws.
69 Menzogna hanno gettato contro di me i superbi: con tutto il cuore osserverò i tuoi ordini.	69 The arrogant smear me with lies, but I observe your precepts with all my heart.
70 Torpido come il grasso è il loro cuore: io mi diletto della tua legge.	70 Their hearts are gross and fat; as for me, your teaching is my delight.
71 Bene per me, se sono stato umiliato: imparerò la tua legge.	71 It was good for me to be afflicted, in order to learn your laws.
72 E' un bene per me la legge della tua bocca, più di migliaia di pezzi d'oro o d'argento.	72 Teaching from your lips is more precious to me than heaps of silver and gold.
73 Le tue mani mi hanno fatto e plasmato: fammi capire e imparerò i tuoi precetti.	73 Your hands made me and fashioned me; give me insight to learn your commands.
74 Mi vedranno quelli che ti temono e ne avranno gioia; sì, spero nella tua parola.	74 Those who fear you rejoice to see me, because I hope in your word.
75 So che sono giusti i tuoi giudizi, Signore, e con ragione mi hai umiliato.	75 I know, LORD, that your edicts are just; though you afflict me, you are faithful.
76 Venga a consolarmi la tua misericordia, secondo la promessa fatta al tuo servo.	76 May your love comfort me in accord with your promise to your servant.
77 Giunga a me la tua pietà affinché io viva: sì, il mio diletto è la tua legge.	77 Show me compassion that I may live, for your teaching is my delight.
78 Abbiano vergogna i superbi per avermi oppresso ingiustamente: io mediterò sui tuoi comandi.	78 Shame the proud for oppressing me unjustly, that I may study your precepts.
79 Si volgano a me quelli che ti temono, quelli che conoscono i tuoi voleri.	79 Let those who fear you turn to me, those who acknowledge your decrees.
80 Sia integro il mio cuore nei tuoi decreti, sì che non abbia ad arrossire.	80 May I be wholehearted toward your laws, that I may not be put to shame.
81 Si strugge l'anima mia verso la tua salvezza; io spero nella tua parola.	81 My soul longs for your salvation; I put my hope in your word.
82 Si struggono i miei occhi verso la tua promessa e dico: "Quando mi darai conforto?".	82 My eyes long to see your promise. When will you comfort me?
83 Sì, sono come un otre esposto al fumo, ma non ho dimenticato i tuoi decreti.	83 I am like a wineskin shriveled by smoke, but I have not forgotten your laws.
84 Quanti saranno i giorni del tuo servo? Quando farai il giudizio contro quelli che mi perseguitano?	84 How long can your servant survive? When will your edict doom my foes?
85 Mi hanno scavato fosse gl'insolenti, i quali non seguono la tua legge.	85 The arrogant have dug pits for me; defying your teaching.
86 Tutti i tuoi precetti sono veri. A torto mi perseguitano: accorri in mio aiuto.	86 All your commands are steadfast. Help me! I am pursued without cause.
87 Per poco non mi hanno bandito dalla terra, ma non ho abbandonato i tuoi comandi.	87 They have almost ended my life on earth, but I do not forsake your precepts.
88 Dammi vita secondo la tua misericordia, e custodirò i voleri della tua bocca.	88 In your kindness give me life, to keep the decrees you have spoken.
89 In eterno, Signore, rimane la tua parola; essa sta immobile come i cieli.	89 Your word, LORD, stands forever; it is firm as the heavens.
90 Per ogni generazione dura la tua fedeltà; hai reso salda la terra ed essa sta.	90 Through all generations your truth endures; fixed to stand firm like the earth.
91 Per i tuoi giudizi oggi tutto sussiste, poiché tutte le cose servono a te.	91 By your edicts they stand firm to this day, for all things are your servants.
92 Se la tua legge non fosse stata la mia gioia, da tempo sarei perito nella mia afflizione.	92 Had your teaching not been my delight, I would have perished in my affliction.
93 Non mi dimenticherò mai i tuoi comandi, poiché con essi mi hai ridato la vita.	93 I will never forget your precepts; through them you give me life.
94 Io sono tuo: salvami! Sì, io cerco i tuoi comandi.	94 I am yours; save me, for I cherish your precepts.
95 Gli empi m'insidiano per gettarmi in rovina: ma io cerco di comprendere i tuoi voleri.	95 The wicked hope to destroy me, but I pay heed to your decrees.
96 Di ogni cosa perfetta ho visto il limite; ma il tuo decreto è senza confini.	96 I have seen the limits of all perfection, but your command is without bounds.
97 Quanto mi è cara la tua legge! Tutto il giorno la vado meditando.	97 How I love your teaching, Lord! I study it all day long.
98 Più sapiente dei miei nemici mi ha fatto il tuo precetto; sì, esso sta sempre con me.	98 Your command makes me wiser than my foes, for it is always with me.
99 Più saggio dei miei maestri son diventato, poiché i tuoi voleri son la mia meditazione.	99 I have more understanding than all my teachers, because I ponder your decrees.
100 Più degli anziani ho intelligenza, poiché ho osservato i tuoi comandi.	100 I have more insight than my elders, because I observe your precepts.

105 Lampada per i miei passi è la tua parola, luce al mio cammino.	105 Your word is a lamp for my feet, a light for my path.
106 Lo giuro e lo confermo: custodirò i tuoi giusti giudizi.	106 I make a solemn vow to keep your just edicts.
107 Sono afflitto oltre misura: dammi vita, Signore, secondo la tua parola.	107 I am very much afflicted, LORD; give me life in accord with your word.
108 Gradisci, Signore, le offerte della mia bocca; insegnami i tuoi giudizi.	108 Accept my freely offered praise; LORD, teach me your decrees.
109 La mia anima sta sempre sulle mie mani, ma non dimentico la tua legge.	109 My life is always at risk, but I do not forget your teaching.
110 Hanno teso lacci gli empi contro di me, ma non ho deviato dai tuoi comandi.	110 The wicked have set snares for me, but from your precepts I do not stray.
111 Mia eredità sono i tuoi voleri, per sempre; sì, sono la gioia del mio cuore.	111 Your decrees are my heritage forever; they are the joy of my heart.

120 La mia carne freme nella paura di te, ho timore dei tuoi giudizi.	120 My flesh shudders with dread of you; I hold your edicts in awe.
121 Ho praticato il giudizio e la giustizia: non abbandonarmi a chi m'opprime.	121 I have fulfilled your just edict; do not abandon me to my oppressors.
122 Fatti garante a favore del tuo servo: non mi opprimano gli insolenti.	122 Guarantee your servant's welfare; do not let the arrogant oppress me.
123 I miei occhi si struggono verso la tua salvezza, verso la tua promessa di giustizia.	123 My eyes long to see your salvation and the justice of your promise.
124 Agisci con il tuo servo, secondo il tuo amore, insegnami i tuoi decreti.	124 Act with kindness toward your servant; teach me your laws.
125 Io sono tuo servo: dammi intelligenza, affinché conosca i tuoi voleri.	125 I am your servant; give me discernment that I may know your decrees.
126 E' tempo di agire, Signore, hanno trasgredito la tua legge.	126 It is time for the LORD to act; they have disobeyed your teaching.
127 Per questo amo i tuoi precetti più che l'oro, più che l'oro raffinato.	127 Truly I love your commands more than the finest gold.
128 Per questo reputo retti tutti i tuoi comandi, mentre detesto ogni sentiero di menzogna.	128 Thus I follow all your precepts; every wrong way I hate.
129 Meravigliosi sono i tuoi voleri; per questo li osserva l'anima mia.	129 Wonderful are your decrees; therefore I observe them.
130 La rivelazione delle tue parole dà luce; essa dà intelligenza ai semplici.	130 The revelation of your words sheds light, gives understanding to the simple.
131 Apro anelante la mia bocca: sì, io bramo i tuoi precetti.	131 I sigh with open mouth, yearning for your commands.
132 Vienimi incontro e abbi pietà di me, secondo il giudizio che tu riservi per chi ama il tuo nome.	132 Turn to me and be gracious, your edict for lovers of your name.
133 Rinsalda i miei passi secondo la tua promessa; che io non sia dominato da alcuna iniquità.	133 Steady my feet in accord with your promise; do not let iniquity lead me.
134 Riscattami dall'oppressione dell'uomo e custodirò i tuoi comandi.	134 Free me from human oppression, that I may keep your precepts.
135 Sul tuo servo fa' risplendere il tuo volto; insegnami i tuoi decreti.	135 Let your face shine upon your servant; teach me your laws.
136 Torrenti di lacrime grondano i miei occhi, perché non custodiscono la tua legge.	136 My eyes shed streams of tears because your teaching is not followed.
137 Tu sei giusto, Signore, e retti sono i tuoi giudizi.	137 You are righteous, LORD, and just are your edicts.
138 Con giustizia hai imposto i tuoi voleri, con verità incomparabile.	138 You have issued your decrees in justice and in surpassing faithfulness.
139 Mi divora lo zelo per te perché i miei avversari hanno dimenticato le tue parole.	139 I am consumed with rage, because my foes forget your words.
140 Purissima è la tua promessa: il tuo servo l'ama.	140 Your servant loves your promise; it has been proved by fire.
141 Io sono piccolo e oggetto di disprezzo: non ho dimenticato i tuoi comandi.	141 Though belittled and despised, I do not forget your precepts.
142 La tua giustizia è giustizia eterna, verità è la tua legge.	142 Your justice is forever right, your teaching forever true.
143 Angustia e affanno mi hanno colto: i tuoi precetti sono la mia gioia.	143 Though distress and anguish come upon me, your commands are my delight.
144 Giustizia sempiterna sono i tuoi voleri; fammi comprendere e avrò la vita.	144 Your decrees are forever just; give me discernment that I may live.

151 Tu sei vicino, Signore, e veri sono i tuoi precetti.	151 You are near, O LORD; reliable are all your commands.

154 Difendi la mia causa e riscattami; dammi vita secondo la tua promessa.	154 Take up my cause and redeem me; for the sake of your promise give me life.
155 Lontano dai malvagi sta la salvezza poiché non cercano i tuoi decreti.	155 Salvation is far from sinners because they do not cherish your laws.

157 Sono molti gli avversari che m'inseguono, ma non ho deviato dai tuoi voleri.	157 Though my persecutors and foes are many I do not turn from your decrees.
158 Ho visto dei traditori e ne ho avuto ribrezzo, perché non custodiscono la tua promessa.	158 I view the faithless with loathing, because they do not heed your promise.
159 Vedi, Signore: io amo i tuoi precetti; dammi vita secondo la tua misericordia.	159 See how I love your precepts, LORD; in your kindness give me life.
160 L'essenza della tua parola è fedeltà; dura in eterno ogni tuo giusto giudizio.	160 Your every word is enduring; all your just edicts are forever.
161 Dei prìncipi mi perseguitano, ma senza motivo; il mio cuore teme le tue parole.	161 Princes persecute me without reason, but my heart reveres only your word.
162 Io trovo gioia nella tua promessa, come chi ha trovato un grande tesoro.	162 I rejoice at your promise, as one who has found rich spoil.
163 Ho in odio la menzogna e la detesto; amo invece la tua legge.	163 Falsehood I hate and abhor; your teaching I love.
164 Sette volte al giorno io ti lodo, a motivo dei tuoi giusti giudizi.	164 Seven times a day I praise you because your edicts are just.
165 Grande pace per chi ama la tua legge; non c'è per loro alcun inciampo.	165 Lovers of your teaching have much peace; for them there is no stumbling block.
166 Attendo il tuo soccorso, Signore; metto in pratica i tuoi precetti.	166 I look for your salvation, LORD, and I fulfill your commands.
167 La mia anima custodisce i tuoi voleri; li ama intensamente.	167 I observe your decrees; I love them very much.
168 Custodisco i tuoi comandi e i tuoi voleri. Sì, avanti a me sono tutte le tue vie.	168 I observe your precepts and decrees; all my ways are before you.
169 Giunga fino a te, Signore, la mia implorazione; dammi comprensione secondo le tue parole.	169 Let my cry come before you, LORD; in keeping with your word give me discernment.
