Micah 1

1 The word of the LORD that came to Micah of Moresheth in the days of Jotham, Ahaz, and Hezekiah, kings of Judah, which he saw concerning Samaria and Jerusalem.	1 Palabra del Señor que llegó a Miqueas de Moréset, en tiempos de Jotam, Ajaz y Ezequías, reyes de Judá. Esto es lo que él vio acerca de Samaría y Jerusalén.
2 Hear, you peoples, all of you; hearken, O earth, and all that is in it; and let the Lord GOD be a witness against you, the Lord from his holy temple.	2 ¡Escuchen, todos los pueblos; presten atención, tierra y todo lo que hay en ella! Que el Señor sea testigo contra ustedes, el Señor, desde su santo Templo.
3 For behold, the LORD is coming forth out of his place, and will come down and tread upon the high places of the earth.	3 Porque el Señor sale de su Lugar sagrado, desciende y camina sobre las alturas de la tierra.
4 And the mountains will melt under him and the valleys will be cleft, like wax before the fire, like waters poured down a steep place.	4 A su paso se derriten las montañas y se agrietan los valles, como la cera ante el fuego, como el agua derramada por una pendiente.
5 All this is for the transgression of Jacob and for the sins of the house of Israel. What is the transgression of Jacob? Is it not Samaria? And what is the sin of the house of Judah? Is it not Jerusalem?	5 Todo esto, por la rebeldía de Jacob, por el pecado de la casa de Israel. ¿Cuál es la rebeldía de Jacob? ¿No es acaso Samaría? ¿Y cuál es el pecado de Judá? ¿No es acaso Jerusalén?
6 Therefore I will make Samaria a heap in the open country, a place for planting vineyards; and I will pour down her stones into the valley, and uncover her foundations.	6 Yo haré de Samaría un campo de ruinas, una tierra para plantar viñedos; haré rodar sus piedras hasta el valle y pondré al desnudo sus cimientos.
7 All her images shall be beaten to pieces, all her hires shall be burned with fire, and all her idols I will lay waste; for from the hire of a harlot she gathered them, and to the hire of a harlot they shall return.	7 Todas sus estatuas serán destrozadas, todos sus salarios serán presa de las llamas, y yo arrasaré todos sus ídolos. Porque ella los amontonó con salarios de prostitutas y volverán a ser salario de prostitución.
8 For this I will lament and wail; I will go stripped and naked; I will make lamentation like the jackals, and mourning like the ostriches.	8 A causa de esto, me lamentaré y gemiré, andaré descalzo y desnudo, lanzaré aullidos como los chacales, gritos lastimeros como los avestruces.
9 For her wound is incurable; and it has come to Judah, it has reached to the gate of my people, to Jerusalem.	9 ¡Porque el golpe es irremediable! Sí, ha llegado hasta Judá, hasta tocar la Puerta de mi pueblo, hasta la misma Jerusalén.
10 Tell it not in Gath, weep not at all; in Beth-le-aphrah roll yourselves in the dust.	10 ¡No lo anuncien en Gat, no vayan a llorar en Boquím! ¡En Bet Leafrá, revuélquense en el polvo!
11 Pass on your way, inhabitants of Shaphir, in nakedness and shame; the inhabitants of Zaanan do not come forth; the wailing of Beth-ezel shall take away from you its standing place.	11 ¡Toquen la trompeta, habitantes de Safir! ¿No ha salido avergonzada de su ciudad la población de Saanán? El lamento de Bet Esel los priva a ustedes de su apoyo.
12 For the inhabitants of Maroth wait anxiously for good, because evil has come down from the LORD to the gate of Jerusalem.	12 Ha temblado por sus bienes la población de Marot. Porque la desgracia ha bajado de parte del Señor hasta la puerta de Jerusalén.
13 Harness the steeds to the chariots, inhabitants of Lachish; you were the beginning of sin to the daughter of Zion, for in you were found the transgressions of Israel.	13 ¡Engancha los corceles al carro, población de Laquis! –Allí comenzó el pecado de la hija de Sión, porque en ti se encontraron las rebeldías de Israel–.
14 Therefore you shall give parting gifts to Moresheth-gath; the houses of Achzib shall be a deceitful thing to the kings of Israel.	14 Por eso serás entregada como dote junto con Moréset Gat. Bet Aczib será una decepción para los reyes de Israel.
15 I will again bring a conqueror upon you, inhabitants of Mareshah; the glory of Israel shall come to Adullam.	15 ¡También contra ti llevaré al conquistador, población de Maresá! ¡Se irá para siempre de Adulam la gloria de Israel!
16 Make yourselves bald and cut off your hair, for the children of your delight; make yourselves as bald as the eagle, for they shall go from you into exile.	16 ¡Arráncate los cabellos, córtalos, a causa de tus hijos queridos! ¡Agranda tu calvicie como la del buitre, porque han ido al cautiverio, lejos de ti!
