Ezechiele 34

BIBBIA RICCIOTTI	NEW JERUSALEM
1 - E il Signore mi comunicò la sua parola dicendo:	1 The word of Yahweh was addressed to me as follows,
2 «Figlio dell'uomo, profetizza sui pastori d'Israele, profetizza e dirai ai pastori: - Così dice il Signore Dio: " Pastori sciagurati d'Israele, che pascevano se stessi; oh, non sono forse i greggi che dai pastori si fanno pascere?	2 'Son of man, prophesy against the shepherds of Israel; prophesy and say to them, "Shepherds, theLord Yahweh says this: Disaster is in store for the shepherds of Israel who feed themselves! Are not shepherdsmeant to feed a flock?
3 Voi vi nutrivate del latte e della lana vi eravate ricoperti, e le più pingui scannavate, e non pascevate il mio gregge.	3 Yet you have fed on milk, you have dressed yourselves in wool, you have sacrificed the fattest sheep,but failed to feed the flock.
4 Non avete sostentato le inferme, nè curato le ammalate, nè fasciato le fratturate, nè ricondotto le sbandate, nè cercato le smarrite, ma avete spadroneggiato con rigore e prepotenza.	4 You have failed to make weak sheep strong, or to care for the sick ones, or bandage the injured ones.You have failed to bring back strays or look for the lost. On the contrary, you have ruled them cruel y andharshly.
5 E le mie pecore si sbrancarono per mancanza di pastore e diventarono preda di tutte le fiere della campagna e si dispersero.	5 For lack of a shepherd they have been scattered, to become the prey of al the wild animals; they havebeen scattered.
6 I miei greggi andarono errando per tutti i monti e per tutti i colli elevati, e su tutta la faccia della terra si dispersero i miei greggi e non c'era chi si desse pensiero, nessuno che ne andasse in cerca"-».	6 My flock is astray on every mountain and on every high hil ; my flock has been scattered al over theworld; no one bothers about them and no one looks for them.
7 Per questo, o pastori, udite la parola del Signore:	7 "Very wel , shepherds, hear the word of Yahweh:
8 «Vivo io, dice il Signore Dio, perchè i miei greggi furono dati in depredazione e le mie pecore in pasto a tutte le fiere della campagna, per mancanza di un pastore; giacchè i pastori miei non si diedero pensiero del mio gregge, ma i pastori pascevano se stessi e non pascevano i miei greggi»;	8 As I live, I swear it -- declares the Lord Yahweh -- since my flock has been pil aged and for lack of ashepherd is now the prey of every wild animal, since my shepherds have ceased to bother about my flock, sincemy shepherds feed themselves rather than my flock,
9 perciò, o pastori, udite la parola del Signore.	9 very wel , shepherds, hear the word of Yahweh:
10 Così dice il Signore Dio: «Eccomi qua io stesso dai pastori, a ridomandare dalle loro mani il mio gregge e a farli cessare dal pascere più oltre il gregge e dal pascere più oltre se stessi; e sottrarrò alla loro bocca il mio gregge e non sarà più in pasto ad essi».	10 The Lord Yahweh says this: Look, I am against the shepherds. I shall take my flock out of theircharge and henceforth not al ow them to feed my flock. And the shepherds will stop feeding themselves,because I shal rescue my sheep from their mouths to stop them from being food for them.
11 Perchè, così dice il Signore Dio: «Ecco che io prenderò la cura delle mie pecorelle e le visiterò.	11 "For the Lord Yahweh says this: Look, I myself shal take care of my flock and look after it.
12 Come il pastore visita il suo gregge, nel giorno che si ritrova in mezzo alle sue pecore sbrancate, così visiterò le mie pecore e le ritrarrò in salvo da tutti i luoghi ove erano state disperse nei giorni di nembo e di caligine.	12 As a shepherd looks after his flock when he is with his scattered sheep, so shal I look after mysheep. I shal rescue them from wherever they have been scattered on the day of clouds and darkness.
13 E le ricondurrò dai popoli e le raccoglierò dai paesi, e le menerò nella loro terra e le pascolerò sui monti d'Israele, e nei terreni irrigui e pascolativi della terra.	13 I shal bring them back from the peoples where they are; I shal gather them back from the countriesand bring them back to their own land. I shall pasture them on the mountains of Israel, in the ravines and in althe inhabited parts of the country.
14 Nei più grassi pascoli le pascolerò e sui monti elevati di Israele andranno in pastura; ivi si adageranno tra l'erbe verdeggianti e brucheranno le pingui zolle dei monti d'Israele.	14 I shal feed them in good pasturage; the highest mountains of Israel will be their grazing ground.There they will rest in good grazing grounds; they will browse in rich pastures on the mountains of Israel.
15 Io baderò alle mie pecore, io le farò adagiare, dice il Signore Dio.	15 I myself shal pasture my sheep, I myself shal give them rest -- declares the Lord Yahweh.
16 Andrò in cerca delle smarrite, ricondurrò le sbrancate, fascerò le fratturate, e sostenterò le inferme e custodirò le grasse e forti e le pascolerò come si deve.	16 I shal look for the lost one, bring back the stray, bandage the injured and make the sick strong. Ishall watch over the fat and healthy. I shall be a true shepherd to them.
17 E voi, pecorelle mie, così dice il Signore Dio: Eccomi per far giustizia tra pecora e pecora, tra il montone e il caprone.	17 "As for you, my sheep, the Lord Yahweh says this: I shall judge between sheep and sheep, betweenrams and he-goats.
18 Non vi bastava pascolare la buona pastura; che avete calpestato colle vostre piante il resto del pascolo e avendo voi acqua purissima da bere, colle vostre zampe l'avete intorbidita tutta?	18 Not content to drink the clearest of the water, you foul the rest with your feet.
19 E le mie pecorelle dovevano brucare ciò ch'era stato calpestato dalle vostre zampe, e bere ciò che le vostre piante avevano intorbidato!».	19 And my sheep must graze on what your feet have trampled and drink what your feet have fouled.
20 Per questo, così dice il Signore Dio a voi: «Eccomi io stesso a giudicare tra la pecora pingue e la magra.	20 Very wel , the Lord Yahweh says this: I myself shall judge between the fat sheep and the thin sheep.
21 Perchè coi fianchi e colle spade avete cozzato e colle corna malmenato le pecorelle deboli fino a cacciarle fuori del branco.	21 Since you have jostled with flank and shoulder and butted al the ailing sheep with your horns, untilyou have scattered them outside,
22 Io salverò il mio gregge e non sarà più preda altrui, e farò io giustizia tra pecora e pecora.	22 I shal come and save my sheep and stop them from being victimised. I shal judge between sheepand sheep.
23 E susciterò a esse un pastore unico affinchè le pascoli, il mio servo David, egli le pascolerà, e loro farà da pastore.	23 "I shal raise up one shepherd, my servant David, and put him in charge of them to pasture them; hewil pasture them and be their shepherd.
24 E io, il Signore, sarò il suo Dio e il mio servo David principe in mezzo di esse; io, il Signore, ho parlato.	24 I, Yahweh, shal be their God, and my servant David wil be ruler among them. I, Yahweh, havespoken.
25 E stringerò con esse un'alleanza di pace, e farò sparire dalla terra le bestie feroci, e quelli che dimorano all'aperto dormiranno sicuri pei boschi.	25 I shal make a covenant of peace with them; I shal rid the country of wild animals. They wil be ableto live secure in the desert and go to sleep in the woods.
26 E saranno una benedizione ch'io porrò intorno al mio colle e farò discendere la pioggia alla sua stagione, saranno piogge di benedizione.	26 I shal settle them round my hil ; I shall send rain at the proper time; it wil be a rain of blessings.
27 E gli alberi della campagna, daranno i loro frutti e la terra la sua produzione, e staranno nella loro terra, scevri da timore, e conosceranno che io sono il Signore quando avrò infranto le ritorte del loro giogo e li avrò sottratti alla mano di quei che signoreggiavano su di essi.	27 The trees of the countryside wil yield their fruit and the soil wil yield its produce; they will be secureon their soil. And they wil know that I am Yahweh when I break the bars of their yoke and rescue them from theclutches of their slave-masters.
28 E non saranno più oltre preda altrui tra le genti, e le fiere della terra più non li divoreranno, ma dimoreranno in sicurezza senza alcuna paura.	28 No more wil they be a prey to the nations, no more wil the wild animals of the country devour them.They wil live secure, with no one to frighten them.
29 E susciterò ad essi una progenie rinomata e non saranno più oltre sminuiti dalla fame sulla terra, e non sopporteranno più l'obbrobrio delle nazioni.	29 I shal make splendid vegetation grow for them; no more wil they suffer from famine in the country;no more will they have to bear the insults of other nations.
30 E conosceranno che io, il Signore Dio loro, sono con essi, e che essi, casa d'Israele, sono il mio popolo; dice il Signore Dio.	30 So they wil know that I, their God, am with them and that they, the House of Israel, are my people --declares the Lord Yahweh.
31 E voi, pecorelle mie, gregge del mio pascolo, siete uomini e io sono il Signore Dio», dice il Signore Dio.	31 And you, my sheep, are the flock of my human pasture, and I am your God -- declares the LordYahweh." '
