Ezekiel 30

1 And the word of the Lord came to me, saying:	1 και εγενετο λογος κυριου προς με λεγων
2 “Son of man, prophesy and say: Thus says the Lord God: Wail: ‘Woe, woe to the day!’	2 υιε ανθρωπου προφητευσον και ειπον ταδε λεγει κυριος ω ω η ημερα
3 For the day is near, and the day of the Lord is approaching! It is a day of gloom; it will be the time of the Gentiles.	3 οτι εγγυς η ημερα του κυριου ημερα περας εθνων εσται
4 And the sword will come to Egypt. And there will be dread in Ethiopia, when the wounded will have fallen in Egypt, and its multitude will have been taken away, and its foundations will have been destroyed.	4 και ηξει μαχαιρα επ' αιγυπτιους και εσται ταραχη εν τη αιθιοπια και πεσουνται τετραυματισμενοι εν αιγυπτω και συμπεσειται αυτης τα θεμελια
5 Ethiopia, and Libya, and Lydia, and all the rest of the common people, and Chub, and the sons of the land of the covenant, will fall with them by the sword.	5 περσαι και κρητες και λυδοι και λιβυες και παντες οι επιμικτοι και των υιων της διαθηκης μου μαχαιρα πεσουνται εν αυτη
6 Thus says the Lord God: And those who prop up Egypt will fall, and the arrogance of its reign will be brought down. They will fall in it by the sword, before the tower of Syene, says the Lord, the God of hosts.	6 και πεσουνται τα αντιστηριγματα αιγυπτου και καταβησεται η υβρις της ισχυος αυτης απο μαγδωλου εως συηνης μαχαιρα πεσουνται εν αυτη λεγει κυριος
7 And they will be scattered into the midst of desolate lands, and its cities will be in the midst of cities that have been deserted.	7 και ερημωθησεται εν μεσω χωρων ηρημωμενων και αι πολεις αυτων εν μεσω πολεων ηρημωμενων εσονται
8 And they shall know that I am the Lord, when I will have brought a fire into Egypt, and when all its helpers will have been worn away.	8 και γνωσονται οτι εγω ειμι κυριος οταν δω πυρ επ' αιγυπτον και συντριβωσι παντες οι βοηθουντες αυτη
9 In that day, messengers will go forth from my face in Greek warships, in order to crush the confidence of Ethiopia. And there will be dread among them in the day of Egypt; for without doubt, it will happen.	9 εν τη ημερα εκεινη εξελευσονται αγγελοι σπευδοντες αφανισαι την αιθιοπιαν και εσται ταραχη εν αυτοις εν τη ημερα αιγυπτου οτι ιδου ηκει
10 Thus says the Lord God: By the hand of Nebuchadnezzar, the king of Babylon, I will cause the multitude of Egypt to cease.	10 ταδε λεγει κυριος κυριος και απολω πληθος αιγυπτιων δια χειρος ναβουχοδονοσορ βασιλεως βαβυλωνος
11 He, and his people with him, the strongest of the Gentiles, will be brought forth in order to destroy the land. And they will draw their swords over Egypt. And they will fill the land with the slain.	11 αυτου και του λαου αυτου λοιμοι απο εθνων απεσταλμενοι απολεσαι την γην και εκκενωσουσιν παντες τας μαχαιρας αυτων επ' αιγυπτον και πλησθησεται η γη τραυματιων
12 And I will cause the channels of the rivers to dry up. And I will deliver the land into the hand of the most wicked. And by the hands of foreigners, I will utterly destroy the land and its plenitude. I, the Lord, have spoken.	12 και δωσω τους ποταμους αυτων ερημους και απολω την γην και το πληρωμα αυτης εν χερσιν αλλοτριων εγω κυριος λελαληκα
13 Thus says the Lord God: And I will destroy the graven images, and I will cause the idols of Memphis to cease. And there will no longer be a commander of the land of Egypt. And I will send terror upon the land of Egypt.	13 οτι ταδε λεγει κυριος κυριος και απολω μεγιστανας απο μεμφεως και αρχοντας εκ γης αιγυπτου και ουκ εσονται ετι
14 And I will destroy the land of Pathros, and I will send a fire upon Tahpanhes, and I will execute judgments in Alexandria.	14 και απολω γην παθουρης και δωσω πυρ επι τανιν και ποιησω εκδικησιν εν διοσπολει
15 And I will pour out my indignation upon Pelusium, the strength of Egypt, and I will kill the multitude of Alexandria.	15 και εκχεω τον θυμον μου επι σαιν την ισχυν αιγυπτου και απολω το πληθος μεμφεως
16 And I will send a fire upon Egypt. Pelusium will be in pain, like a woman giving birth. And Alexandria will be utterly destroyed. And in Memphis, there will be anguish every day.	16 και δωσω πυρ επ' αιγυπτον και ταραχην ταραχθησεται συηνη και εν διοσπολει εσται εκρηγμα και διαχυθησεται υδατα
17 The young men of Heliopolis and Pibeseth will fall by the sword, and the young women will be led into captivity.	17 νεανισκοι ηλιου πολεως και βουβαστου εν μαχαιρα πεσουνται και αι γυναικες εν αιχμαλωσια πορευσονται
18 And in Tahpanhes, the day will grow black, when, in that place, I will break the scepters of Egypt. And the arrogance of her authority will fail within her; a gloom will cover her. Then her daughters will be led into captivity.	18 και εν ταφνας συσκοτασει η ημερα εν τω συντριψαι με εκει τα σκηπτρα αιγυπτου και απολειται εκει η υβρις της ισχυος αυτης και αυτην νεφελη καλυψει και αι θυγατερες αυτης αιχμαλωτοι αχθησονται
19 And I will execute judgments in Egypt. And they shall know that I am the Lord.”	19 και ποιησω κριμα εν αιγυπτω και γνωσονται οτι εγω ειμι κυριος
20 And it happened that, in the eleventh year, in the first month, on the seventh of the month, the word of the Lord came, me, saying:	20 και εγενετο εν τω ενδεκατω ετει εν τω πρωτω μηνι εβδομη του μηνος εγενετο λογος κυριου προς με λεγων
21 “Son of man, I have broken the arm of Pharaoh, the king of Egypt. And behold, it has not been wrapped, so that it might be restored to health; it has not been bound with cloths, or bandaged with linen, so that, having recovered strength, it would be able to hold the sword.	21 υιε ανθρωπου τους βραχιονας φαραω βασιλεως αιγυπτου συνετριψα και ιδου ου κατεδεθη του δοθηναι ιασιν του δοθηναι επ' αυτον μαλαγμα του δοθηναι ισχυν επιλαβεσθαι μαχαιρας
22 Because of this, thus says the Lord God: Behold, I am against Pharaoh, the king of Egypt, and I will shatter his strong arm, which has already been broken. And I will cast the sword away from his hand.	22 δια τουτο ταδε λεγει κυριος κυριος ιδου εγω επι φαραω βασιλεα αιγυπτου και συντριψω τους βραχιονας αυτου τους ισχυρους και τους τεταμενους και καταβαλω την μαχαιραν αυτου εκ της χειρος αυτου
23 And I will disperse Egypt among the nations, and I will scatter them among the lands.	23 και διασπερω αιγυπτον εις τα εθνη και λικμησω αυτους εις τας χωρας
24 And I will strengthen the arms of the king of Babylon. And I will put my sword into his hand. And I will break the arms of Pharaoh. And they will groan acutely, when they are slain before his face.	24 και κατισχυσω τους βραχιονας βασιλεως βαβυλωνος και δωσω την ρομφαιαν μου εις την χειρα αυτου και επαξει αυτην επ' αιγυπτον και προνομευσει την προνομην αυτης και σκυλευσει τα σκυλα αυτης
25 And I will strengthen the arms of the king of Babylon. And the arms of Pharaoh will fall. And they shall know that I am the Lord, when I will have given my sword into the hand of the king of Babylon, and when he will have extended it over the land of Egypt.	25 και ενισχυσω τους βραχιονας βασιλεως βαβυλωνος οι δε βραχιονες φαραω πεσουνται και γνωσονται οτι εγω ειμι κυριος εν τω δουναι την ρομφαιαν μου εις χειρας βασιλεως βαβυλωνος και εκτενει αυτην επι γην αιγυπτου
26 And I will disperse Egypt among the nations, and I will scatter them among the lands. And they shall know that I am the Lord.”	26 και διασπερω αιγυπτον εις τα εθνη και λικμησω αυτους εις τας χωρας και γνωσονται παντες οτι εγω ειμι κυριος
