Psalms 84

1 Unto the end. A Psalm to the sons of Korah.	1 Del maestro de coro. Con la cítara de Gat. De los hijos de Coré. Salmo.
2 O Lord, you have blessed your land. You have turned aside the captivity of Jacob.	2 ¡Qué amable es tu Morada, Señor del Universo!
3 You have released the iniquity of your people. You have covered all their sins.	3 Mi alma se consume de deseos por los atrios del Señor; mi corazón y mi carne claman ansiosos por el Dios viviente.
4 You have mitigated all your wrath. You have turned aside from the wrath of your indignation.	4 Hasta el gorrión encontró una casa, y la golondrina tiene un nido donde poner sus pichones, junto a tus altares, Señor del universo, mi Rey y mi Dios.
5 Convert us, O God, our Savior, and turn your anger away from us.	5 ¡Felices los que habitan en tu Casa y te alaban sin cesar!
6 Will you be angry with us forever? And will you extend your wrath from generation to generation?	6 ¡Felices los que encuentran su fuerza en ti, al emprender la peregrinación!
7 O God, you will turn back and revive us. And your people will rejoice in you.	7 Al pasar por el valle árido, lo convierten en un oasis; caen las primeras lluvias, y lo cubren de bendiciones;
8 O Lord, reveal to us your mercy, and grant to us your salvation.	8 ellos avanzan con vigor siempre creciente hasta contemplar a Dios en Sión.
9 I will listen to what the Lord God may be saying to me. For he will speak peace to his people, and to his saints, and to those who are being converted to the heart.	9 Señor del universo, oye mi plegaria, escucha, Dios de Jacob;
10 So then, truly his salvation is near to those who fear him, so that glory may inhabit our land.	10 protege, Dios, a nuestro Escudo y mira el rostro de tu Ungido.
11 Mercy and truth have met each other. Justice and peace have kissed.	11 Vale más un día en tus atrios que mil en otra parte; yo prefiero el umbral de la Casa de mi Dios antes que vivir entre malvados.
12 Truth has risen from the earth, and justice has gazed down from heaven.	12 Porque el Señor es sol y escudo; Dios da la gracia y la gloria, y no niega sus bienes a los que proceden con rectitud.
13 For so will the Lord give goodness, and our earth will give her fruit.	13 ¡Señor del universo, feliz el hombre que confía en ti!
14 Justice will walk before him, and he will set his steps upon the way.
