¹ Unto the end. To the sons of Korah, for confidants. A Psalm.	¹ 'Al maestro del coro. Su "I gigli...". Dei figli di Core.' 'Maskil. Canto d'amore.'
² Our God is our refuge and strength, a helper in the tribulations that have greatly overwhelmed us.	² Effonde il mio cuore liete parole, io canto al re il mio poema. La mia lingua è stilo di scriba veloce.
³ Because of this, we will not be afraid when the earth will be turbulent and the mountains will be transferred into the heart of the sea.	³ Tu sei il più bello tra i figli dell'uomo, sulle tue labbra è diffusa la grazia, ti ha benedetto Dio per sempre.
⁴ They thundered, and the waters were stirred up among them; the mountains have been disturbed by his strength.	⁴ Cingi, prode, la spada al tuo fianco, nello splendore della tua maestà ti arrida la sorte,
⁵ The frenzy of the river rejoices the city of God. The Most High has sanctified his tabernacle.	⁵ avanza per la verità, la mitezza e la giustizia.
⁶ God is in its midst; it will not be shaken. God will assist it in the early morning.	⁶ La tua destra ti mostri prodigi: le tue frecce acute colpiscono al cuore i nemici del re; sotto di te cadono i popoli.
⁷ The peoples have been disturbed, and the kingdoms have been bowed down. He uttered his voice: the earth has been moved.	⁷ Il tuo trono, Dio, dura per sempre; è scettro giusto lo scettro del tuo regno.
⁸ The Lord of hosts is with us. The God of Jacob is our supporter.	⁸ Ami la giustizia e l'empietà detesti: Dio, il tuo Dio ti ha consacrato con olio di letizia, a preferenza dei tuoi eguali.
⁹ Draw near and behold the works of the Lord: what portents he has set upon the earth,	⁹ Le tue vesti son tutte mirra, aloè e cassia, dai palazzi d'avorio ti allietano le cetre.
¹⁰ carrying away wars even to the end of the earth. He will crush the bow and break the weapons, and he will burn the shield with fire.	¹⁰ Figlie di re stanno tra le tue predilette; alla tua destra la regina in ori di Ofir.
¹¹ Be empty, and see that I am God. I will be exalted among the peoples, and I will be exalted upon the earth.	¹¹ Ascolta, figlia, guarda, porgi l'orecchio, dimentica il tuo popolo e la casa di tuo padre;
¹² The Lord of hosts is with us. The God of Jacob is our supporter.	¹² al re piacerà la tua bellezza. Egli è il tuo Signore: pròstrati a lui.
	¹³ Da Tiro vengono portando doni, i più ricchi del popolo cercano il tuo volto.
	¹⁴ La figlia del re è tutta splendore, gemme e tessuto d'oro è il suo vestito.
	¹⁵ È presentata al re in preziosi ricami; con lei le vergini compagne a te sono condotte;
	¹⁶ guidate in gioia ed esultanza entrano insieme nel palazzo del re.
	¹⁷ Ai tuoi padri succederanno i tuoi figli; li farai capi di tutta la terra.
	¹⁸ Farò ricordare il tuo nome per tutte le generazioni, e i popoli ti loderanno in eterno, per sempre.
