1 And the Lord said to Moses: “Now you will see what I shall do to Pharaoh. For through a strong hand he will release them, and by a mighty hand he will cast them from his land.”	1 Respondió Yahveh a Moisés: «Ahora verás lo que voy a hacer con Faraón; porque bajo fuerte mano tendrá que dejarles partir y bajo fuerte mano él mismo los expulsará de su territorio.»
2 And the Lord spoke to Moses, saying: “I am the Lord,	2 Habló Dios a Moisés y le dijo: «Yo soy Yahveh.
3 who appeared to Abraham, to Isaac, and to Jacob as Almighty God. And I did not reveal to them my name: ADONAI.	3 Me aparecí a Abraham, a Isaac y a Jacob como El Sadday; pero mi nombre de Yahveh no se lo di a conocer.
4 And I formed a covenant with them, in order to give them the land of Canaan, the land of their sojourning, in which they were newcomers.	4 También con ellos establecí mi alianza, para darles la tierra de Canaán, la tierra en que peregrinaron y en la que moraron como forasteros.
5 I have heard the groaning of the sons of Israel, with which the Egyptians have oppressed them. And I have remembered my covenant.	5 Y ahora, al oír el gemido de los israelitas, reducidos a esclavitud por los egipcios, he recordado mi alianza.
6 For this reason, say to the sons of Israel: I am the Lord who will lead you away from the work house of the Egyptians, and rescue you from servitude, and also redeem you with an exalted arm and great judgments.	6 Por tanto, di a los hijos de Israel: Yo soy Yahveh; Yo os libertaré de los duros trabajos de los egipcios, os libraré de su esclavitud y os salvaré con brazo tenso y castigos grandes.
7 And I will take you to myself as my people, and I will be your God. And you will know that I am the Lord your God, who led you away from the work house of the Egyptians,	7 Yo os haré mi pueblo, y seré vuestro Dios; y sabréis que yo soy Yahveh, vuestro Dios, que os sacaré de la esclavitud de Egipto.
8 and who brought you into the land, over which I lifted up my hand in order to grant it to Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob. And I will grant it to you as a possession. I am the Lord.”	8 Yo os introduciré en la tierra que he jurado dar a Abraham, a Isaac y a Jacob, y os la daré en herencia. Yo, Yahveh.»
9 And so, Moses explained all these things to the sons of Israel, who did not agree with him, because of their anguish of spirit and very difficult work.	9 Moisés dijo esto a los israelitas; pero ellos no escucharon a Moisés, consumidos por la dura servidumbre.
10 And the Lord spoke to Moses, saying:	10 Entonces Yahveh habló a Moisés diciendo:
11 “Enter and speak to Pharaoh, king of Egypt, so that he may release the sons of Israel from his land.”	11 «Ve a hablar con Faraón, rey de Egipto, para que deje salir a los israelitas fuera de su territorio.»
12 Moses responded in the sight the Lord: “Behold, the sons of Israel do not listen to me. And how will Pharaoh listen to me, especially since I am of uncircumcised lips?”	12 Respondió Moisés ante Yahveh: «Si los israelitas no escuchan: ¿cómo me va a escuchar Faraón, a mí que soy torpe de palabra?»
13 And the Lord spoke to Moses and Aaron, and he gave them a commandment for the sons of Israel, and for Pharaoh, the king of Egypt, that they should lead the sons of Israel away from the land of Egypt.	13 Pero Yahveh habló a Moisés y a Aarón, y les dio órdenes para los israelitas y para Faraón, rey de Egipto, a fin de sacar del país de Egipto a los israelitas.
14 These are the leaders of the houses by their families. The sons of Reuben, the firstborn of Israel: Hanoch and Pallu, Hezron and Carmi.	14 Estos son los jefes de sus casas paternas: Hijos de Rubén, primogénito de Israel: Henoc, Pallú, Jesrón y Karmí, éstas son las familias de Rubén.
15 These are the kindred of Reuben. The sons of Simeon: Jemuel and Jamin, and Ohad, and Jachin, and Zohar, and Shaul, the son of a Canaanite women. These are the progeny of Simeon.	15 Hijos de Simeón: Yemuel, Yamín, Ohad, Yakín, Sójar y Saúl, hijo de la cananea; éstas son las familias de Simeón.
16 And these are the names of the sons of Levi by their kindred: Gershon, and Kohath, and Merari. Now the years of the life of Levi were one hundred and thirty-seven.	16 Y éstos son los nombres de los hijos de Leví por sus linajes: Guerson, Quehat, Merarí. Los años de la vida de Leví fueron 137.
17 The sons of Gershon: Libni and Shimei, by their kindred.	17 Hijos de Guerson: Libní y Simei según sus familias.
18 The sons of Kohath: Amram, and Izhar, and Hebron and Uzziel. Likewise, the years of the life of Kohath were one hundred and thirty-three.	18 Hijos de Quehat: Amram, Yishar, Hebrón y Uzziel. Los años de la vida de Quehat fueron 133 años.
19 The sons of Merari: Mahli and Mushi. These are the kindred of Levi by their families.	19 Hijos de Merarí: Majlí y Musí. Estas son las familias de los levitas, por sus linajes.
20 Now Amram took as a wife Jochebed, his paternal aunt, who bore for him Aaron and Moses. And the years of the life of Amram were one hundred and thirty-seven.	20 Amram tomó por mujer a Yokébed, su tía, de la cual nacieron Aarón y Moisés. Y los años de la vida de Amram fueron 137.
21 Likewise, the sons of Izhar: Korah, and Nepheg, and Zichri.	21 Hijos de Yishar: Coré, Néfeg y Zikrí.
22 Likewise, the sons of Uzziel: Mishael, and Elzaphan, and Sithri.	22 Hijos de Uzziel: Missael, Elsafán y Sitrí.
23 Now Aaron took as a wife Elizabeth, the daughter of Amminadab, sister of Nahshon, who bore for him Nadab, and Abihu, and Eleazar, and Ithamar.	23 Aarón tomó por mujer a Isabel, hija de Amminadab, hermana de Najsón; de la cual le nacieron Nadab, Abihú, Eleazar e Itamar.
24 Likewise, the sons of Korah: Assir, and Elkanah, and Abiasaph. These are the kindred of the Korahites.	24 Hijos de Coré: Assir, Elcaná y Abiasaf. Estas son la familias de los coreítas.
25 And truly Eleazar, the son of Aaron, took a wife from the daughters of Putiel. And she bore him Phinehas. These are the heads of the Levitical families by their kindred.	25 Eleazar, hijo de Aarón, tomó por mujer a una de las hijas de Putiel y de ella nació Pinjás. Estos son los jefes de las casas paternas de los levitas, según sus familias.
26 These are Aaron and Moses, whom the Lord instructed to lead the sons of Israel away from the land of Egypt by their companies.	26 Estos son, pues, aquel Aarón y aquel Moisés a quienes dijo Yahveh: «Sacad a los israelitas de la tierra de Egipto en orden de campaña.»
27 These are those who speak to Pharaoh, king of Egypt, in order to lead the sons of Israel out of Egypt. These are Moses and Aaron,	27 Estos son los que hablaron a Faraón, rey de Egipto, para sacar de Egipto a los israelitas. Estos son Moisés y Aarón.
28 in the day when the Lord spoke to Moses in the land of Egypt.	28 El día en que Yahveh habló a Moisés en el país de Egipto,
29 And the Lord spoke to Moses, saying: “I am the Lord. Speak to Pharaoh, king of Egypt, all that I speak to you.”	29 le dijo: «Yo soy Yahveh; di a Faraón, rey de Egipto, cuanto yo te diga.»
30 And Moses said in the sight of the Lord: “Lo, I am of uncircumcised lips, how will Pharaoh listen to me?”	30 Moisés respondió ante Yahveh: «Siendo yo torpe de palabra, ¿cómo me va a escuchar Faraón?»
