1 Now the sons of Issachar were Tola and Puah, Jashub and Shimron, four.	1 Porro filii Issachar : Thola, et Phua, Jasub, et Simeron, quatuor.
2 The sons of Tola: Uzzi, and Rephaiah, and Jeriel, and Jahmai, and Ibsam, and Shemuel, leaders according to the houses of their kindred. From the stock of Tola, there were numbered, in the days of David, twenty-two thousand six hundred very strong men.	2 Filii Thola : Ozi, et Raphaia, et Jeriel, et Jemai, et Jebsem, et Samuel, principes per domos cognationum suarum. De stirpe Thola viri fortissimi numerati sunt in diebus David, viginti duo millia sexcenti.
3 The sons of Uzzi: Izrahiah, from whom were born: Michael, and Obadiah, and Joel, and Isshiah; all five were leaders.	3 Filii Ozi : Izrahia, de quo nati sunt Michaël, et Obadia, et Joël, et Jesia, quinque omnes principes.
4 And with them, by their families and peoples, there were thirty-six thousand very strong men, girded for battle. And they had many wives and children.	4 Cumque eis per familias et populos suos, accincti ad prælium, viri fortissimi, triginta sex millia : multas enim habuerunt uxores, et filios.
5 Also, their brothers, throughout all the kindred of Issachar, were numbered as eighty-seven thousand, very fit for battle.	5 Fratres quoque eorum per omnem cognationem Issachar robustissimi ad pugnandum, octoginta septem millia numerati sunt.
6 The sons of Benjamin: Bela, and Becher, and Jediael, three.	6 Filii Benjamin : Bela, et Bechor, et Jadihel, tres.
7 The sons of Bela: Ezbon, and Uzzi, and Uzziel, and Jerimoth and Iri, five leaders of families, also very fit for battle; and their number was twenty-two thousand thirty-four.	7 Filii Bela : Esbon, et Ozi, et Oziel, et Jerimoth, et Urai, quinque principes familiarum, et ad pugnandum robustissimi : numerus autem eorum, viginti duo millia et triginta quatuor.
8 Now the sons of Becher: Zemirah, and Joash, and Eliezer, and Elioenai, and Omri, and Jeremoth, and Abijah, and Anathoth, and Alemeth: all these were sons of Becher.	8 Porro filii Bechor : Zamira, et Joas, et Eliezer, et Elioënai, et Amri, et Jerimoth, et Abia, et Anathoth, et Almath : omnes hi filii Bechor.
9 And they were numbered according to their families, by the leaders of their kindred, very strong in warfare, twenty thousand and two hundred.	9 Numerati sunt autem per familias suas principes cognationum suarum ad bella fortissimi, viginti millia et ducenti.
10 And the sons of Jediael: Bilhan, and the sons of Bilhan: Jeush, and Benjamin, and Ehud, and Chenaanah, and Zethan, and Tarshish, and Ahishahar.	10 Porro filii Jadihel : Balan. Filii autem Balan : Jehus, et Benjamin, et Aod, et Chanana, et Zethan, et Tharsis, et Ahisahar :
11 All these were sons of Jediael, the leaders of their kindred, very strong men, seventeen thousand and two hundred, going forth to battle.	11 omnes hi filii Jadihel, principes cognationum suarum viri fortissimi, decem et septem millia et ducenti ad prælium procedentes.
12 Also, Shuppim and Huppim, the sons of Ir; and Hushim, sons of Aher.	12 Sepham quoque et Hapham filii Hir : et Hasim filii Aher.
13 Then the sons of Naphtali: Jahziel, and Guni, and Jezer, and Shallum, sons of Bilhah.	13 Filii autem Nephthali : Jaziel, et Guni, et Jeser, et Sellum, filii Bala.
14 Also, the son of Manasseh: Asriel. And his concubine, a Syrian, bore Machir, the father of Gilead.	14 Porro filius Manasse, Esriel : concubinaque ejus Syra peperit Machir patrem Galaad.
15 Now Machir took wives for his sons, Huppim and Shuppim. And he had a sister named Maacah; but the name of the second was Zelophehad, and daughters were born to Zelophehad.	15 Machir autem accepit uxores filiis suis Happhim, et Saphan : et habuit sororem nomine Maacha : nomen autem secundi, Salphaad, natæque sunt Salphaad filiæ.
16 And Maacah, the wife of Machir, bore a son, and she called his name Peresh. And the name of his brother was Sheresh. And his sons were Ulam and Rakem.	16 Et peperit Maacha uxor Machir filium, vocavitque nomen ejus Phares : porro nomen fratris ejus, Sares : et filii ejus, Ulam, et Recen.
17 Then the son of Ulam: Bedan. These are the sons of Gilead, the son of Machir, the son of Manasseh.	17 Filius autem Ulam, Badan : hi sunt filii Galaad, filii Machir, filii Manasse.
18 And his sister, Regina, bore Ishhod, and Abiezer, and Mahlah.	18 Soror autem ejus Regina peperit Virum decorum, et Abiezer, et Mohola.
19 Now the sons of Shemida were Ahian, and Shechem, and Likhi and Aniam.	19 Erant autem filii Semida, Ahin, et Sechem, et Leci, et Aniam.
20 And the sons of Ephraim: Shuthelah, Bered his son, Tahath his son, Eleadah his son, Tahath his son, whose son was Zabad,	20 Filii autem Ephraim : Suthala, Bared filius ejus, Thahath filius ejus, Elada filius ejus, Thahath filius ejus, hujus filius Zabad,

24 Now his daughter was Sheerah, who built lower and upper Beth-horon, and also Uzzen-sheerah.	24 filia autem ejus fuit Sara, quæ ædificavit Bethoron inferiorem et superiorem, et Ozensara.

29 also, beside the sons of Manasseh, Bethshean and her daughters, Taanach and her daughters, Megiddo and her daughters, Dor and her daughters. In these places, there lived the sons of Joseph, the son of Israel.	29 Juxta filios quoque Manasse, Bethsan et filias ejus, Thanach et filias ejus, Mageddo et filias ejus, Dor et filias ejus : in his habitaverunt filii Joseph, filii Israël.
30 The sons of Asher: Imnah, and Ishvah, and Ishvi, and Beriah, and Serah their sister.	30 Filii Aser : Jemna, et Jesua, et Jessui, et Baria, et Sara soror eorum.
31 And the sons of Beriah: Heber, and Malchiel, the same is the father of Birzaith.	31 Filii autem Baria : Heber, et Melchiel : ipse est pater Barsaith.
32 Now Heber conceived Japhlet, and Shomer, and Hotham, and their sister Shua.	32 Heber autem genuit Jephlat, et Somer, et Hotham, et Suaa sororem eorum.
33 The sons of Japhlet: Pasach, and Bimhal, and Ashvath; these are the sons of Japhlet.	33 Filii Jephlat : Phosech, et Chamaal, et Asoth : hi filii Jephlat.
34 Then the sons of Shomer: Ahi, and Rohgah, and Jehubbah, and Aram.	34 Porro filii Somer : Ahi, et Roaga, et Haba, et Aram.
35 And the sons of Helem, his brother: Zophah, and Imna, and Shelesh, and Amal.	35 Filii autem Helem fratris ejus : Supha, et Jemna, et Selles, et Amal.
36 The sons of Zophah: Suah, Harnepher, and Shual, and Beri, and Imrah,	36 Filii Supha : Sue, Harnapher, et Sual, et Beri, et Jamra,
37 Bezer, and Hod, and Shamma, and Shilshah, and Ithran, and Beera.	37 Bosor, et Hod, et Samma, et Salusa, et Jethran, et Bera.
38 The sons of Jether: Jephunneh, and Pispa, and Ara.	38 Filii Jether : Jephone, et Phaspha, et Ara.
39 Then the sons of Ulla: Arah, and Hanniel, and Rizia.	39 Filii autem Olla : Aree, et Haniel, et Resia.
40 All these were sons of Asher, the leaders of families, elect and very strong rulers among rulers. And the number of those who were of an age that was fit for warfare was twenty-six thousand.	40 Omnes hi filii Aser, principes cognationum, electi atque fortissimi duces ducum : numerus autem eorum ætatis quæ apta esset ad bellum, viginti sex millia.
