1 Now king Solomon was reigning over all of Israel.	1 Ο δε βασιλευς Σολομων εβασιλευεν επι παντα τον Ισραηλ.
2 And these were the leaders that he had: Azariah, the son of Zadok, the priest;	2 Και ουτοι ησαν οι αρχοντες, τους οποιους ειχεν? Αζαριας, ο υιος του Σαδωκ, αυλαρχης?
3 Elihoreph and Ahijah, the sons of Shisha, the scribes; Jehoshaphat, the son of Ahilud, the keeper of records;	3 Ελιορεφ και Αχια, οι υιοι του Σεισα, γραμματεις? Ιωσαφατ, ο υιος του Αχιουδ, υπομνηματογραφος?
4 Benaiah, the son of Jehoiada, over the army; and Zadok, and Abiathar, priests;	4 και Βεναιας, ο υιος του Ιωδαε, επι του στρατευματος? και Σαδωκ και Αβιαθαρ, ιερεις?
5 Azariah, the son of Nathan, over those who were assisting the king; Zabud, the son of Nathan, the priest, the friend of the king;	5 και Αζαριας, ο υιος του Ναθαν, επι τους σιταρχας? και Ζαβουδ, υιος του Ναθαν, πρωτος αξιωματικος, φιλος του βασιλεως?
6 and Ahishar, first ruler of the house; and Adoniram, the son of Abda, over the tribute.	6 και Αχισαρ, οικονομος? και Αδωνιραμ, ο υιος του Αβδα, επι των φορων.
7 And Solomon had twelve commanders over all of Israel, who offered yearly provisions for the king and his house. For each was ministering the necessities, by each month of the year.	7 ειχε δε ο Σολομων δωδεκα σιταρχας επι παντα τον Ισραηλ, και προεβλεπον τας τροφας εις τον βασιλεα και εις τον οικον αυτου? ενος μηνος προβλεψιν εκαμνεν εκαστος τον χρονον.
8 And these are their names: Benhur, on mount Ephraim;	8 Και ταυτα ειναι τα ονοματα αυτων? ο υιος του Ουρ σιταρχης εν τω ορει Εφραιμ?
9 Bendeker, in Makaz, and in Shaalbim, and in Beth-shemesh, and in Elon, and in Beth-hanan;	9 ο υιος του Δεκερ, εν Μακας και εν Σααλβιμ και Βαιθ-σεμες και Αιλων της Βαιθ-αναν?
10 Benhesed, in Arubboth: his was Socoh and the entire land of Hepher;	10 ο υιος του Εσεδ, εν Αρουβωθ? υπο τουτον ητο Σωχω και πασα γη Εφερ?
11 Benabinadab, to whom was all of Naphath-Dor, who had Taphath, the daughter of Solomon, as wife;	11 ο υιος του Αβινααβ, εν παση τη Ναφαθ-δωρ? ουτος ειχε γυναικα Ταφαθ, την θυγατερα του Σολομωντος?
12 Baana, the son of Ahilud, who was reigning in Taanach, and Megiddo, and all of Bethshean, which is beside Zarethan and below Jezreel, from Bethshean as far as Abelmeholah, opposite Jokmeam;	12 Βαανα, ο υιος του Αχιλουδ, εν Θααναχ και Μεγιδδω και παση τη αιθ-σαν, ητις ειναι πλησιον της Σαρθανα υπο την Ιεζραελ, απο Βαιθ-σαν εως Αβελ-μεολα, εως επεκεινα Ιοκμεαμ?
13 Bengeber, in Ramoth Gilead, who had the town of Jair, the son of Manasseh, in Gilead; the same was first in the entire region of Argob, which is in Bashan, sixty great cities with walls that had bronze bars;	13 ο υιος του Γεβερ, εν Ραμωθ-γαλααδ? ουτος ειχε τας κωμας του Ιαειρ, υιου Μανασση, τας εν Γαλααδ? ουτος ειχε και την επαρχιαν Αργοβ, την εν Βασαν, εξηκοντα πολεις μεγαλας με τειχη και χαλκινους μοχλους?
14 Ahinadab, the son of Iddo, who was first in Mahanaim;	14 Αχιναδαβ, ο υιος του Ιδδω, εν Μαχαναιμ?
15 Ahimaaz, in Naphtali, and he also had Basemath, the daughter of Solomon, in marriage;	15 Αχιμαας, εν Νεφθαλι? και ουτος ελαβε δια γυναικα Βασεμαθ, την θυγατερα του Σολομωντος?
16 Baana, the son of Hushai, in Asher and in Bealoth;	16 Βαανα, ο υιος του Χουσαι, εν Ασιηρ και εν Αλωθ?
17 Jehoshaphat, the son of Paruah, in Issachar;	17 Ιωσαφατ, ο υιος του Φαρουα, εν Ισσαχαρ?
18 Shimei, the son of Ela, in Benjamin;	18 Σιμει, ο υιος του Ηλα, εν Βενιαμιν?
19 Geber, the son of Uri, in the land of Gilead, in the land of Sihon, king of the Amorites, and of Og, king of Bashan, over all who were in that land.	19 Γεβερ, ο υιος του Ουρει, εν γη Γαλααδ, τη γη του Σηων βασιλεως των Αμορραιων και του Ωγ βασιλεως της Βασαν? και ητο ο μονος σιταρχης εν ταυτη τη γη.
20 Judah and Israel were innumerable, like the sand of the sea in multitude: eating and drinking, and rejoicing.	20 Ο Ιουδας και ο Ισραηλ ησαν πολυαριθμοι ως η αμμος η παρα την θαλασσαν κατα το πληθος, τρωγοντες και πινοντες και ευθυμουντες.
21 Now Solomon had, in his dominion, all the kingdoms, from the river to the land of the Philistines, even to the border of Egypt. And they offered gifts to him, and they served him all the days of his life.	21 Και εξουσιαζεν ο Σολομων επι παντα τα βασιλεια, απο του ποταμου εως της γης των Φιλισταιων, και εως των οριων της Αιγυπτου? και εφερον δωρα και ησαν δουλοι εις τον Σολομωντα καθ' ολας τας ημερας της ζωης αυτου.
22 And the provisions of Solomon, for each day, were thirty cor of fine wheat flour, and sixty cor of meal,	22 Η δε τροφη του Σολομωντος δια μιαν ημεραν ητο τριακοντα κοροι σεμιδαλεως και εξηκοντα κοροι αλευρου,
23 ten fattened oxen, and twenty oxen from the pastures, and one hundred rams, aside from the venison of stags, roe deer, and gazelles, and fattened poultry.	23 δεκα βοες σιτευτοι και εικοσι βοες νομαδικοι και εκατον προβατα, εκτος ελαφων και αγριων αιγων και δορκαδων και πτηνων θρεπτων.
24 For he had obtained the entire region which was beyond the river, from Tiphsah as far as Gaza, and all the kings of those regions. And he had peace on every side all around.	24 Διοτι εξουσιαζεν επι πασαν την γην εντευθεν του ποταμου, απο Θαψα εως Γαζης, επι παντας τους βασιλεις εντευθεν του ποταμου? και ειχεν ειρηνην πανταχοθεν κυκλω αυτου.
25 And so, Judah and Israel were living without any fear, each one under his own vine and under his own fig tree, from Dan as far as Beersheba, during all the days of Solomon.	25 Κατωκει δε ο Ιουδας και ο Ισραηλ εν ασφαλεια, εκαστος υπο την αμπελον αυτου και υπο την συκην αυτου, απο Δαν εως Βηρ-σαβεε, πασας τας ημερας του Σολομωντος.
26 And Solomon had forty thousand stalls of chariot horses, and twelve thousand riding horses.	26 Και ειχεν ο Σολομων τεσσαρακοντα χιλιαδας σταυλους ιππων δια τας αμαξας αυτου και δωδεκα χιλιαδας ιππεις.
27 And the above-stated commanders of the king nourished these. And they also offered the necessities for the table of king Solomon, with immense diligence, each in his time.	27 Και οι σιταρχαι εκεινοι προεμηθευον τροφας δια τον βασιλεα Σολομωντα και δια παντας τους προσερχομενους εις την τραπεζαν του βασιλεως Σολομωντος, εκαστος εις τον μηνα αυτου? δεν αφινον να γινηται ουδεμια ελλειψις.
28 Also, they brought barley and straw for the horses and beasts of burden, to the place where the king was, just as it was appointed to them.	28 Εφερον ετι κριθας και αχυρον δια τους ιππους και τας ημιονους, εις τον τοπον οπου ησαν, εκαστος κατα το διωρισμενον εις αυτον.
29 And God gave wisdom to Solomon, and an exceedingly great prudence, and a spacious heart, like the sand which is on the shore of the sea.	29 Και εδωκεν ο Θεος εις τον Σολομωντα σοφιαν και φρονησιν πολλην σφοδρα και εκτασιν πνευματος, ως η αμμος η παρα το χειλος της θαλασσης.
30 And the wisdom of Solomon surpassed the wisdom of all the East, and of the Egyptians.	30 Και υπερεβη η σοφια του Σολομωντος την σοφιαν παντων των κατοικων της ανατολης και πασαν την σοφιαν της Αιγυπτου?
31 And he was wiser than all men: wiser than Ethan, the Ezrahite, and Heman, and Calcol, and Darda, the sons of Mahol. And he was renowned in all the nations on every side.	31 διοτι ητο σοφωτερος παρα παντας τους ανθρωπους, παρα τον Εθαν τον Εζραιτην και τον Αιμαν και τον Χαλκολ και τον Δαρδα, τους υιους του Μαωλ? και η φημη αυτου ητο εις παντα τα εθνη κυκλω.
32 Solomon also spoke three thousand parables. And his verses were one thousand and five.	32 Και ελαλησε τρισχιλιας παροιμιας? και αι ωδαι αυτου ησαν χιλιαι και πεντε.
33 And he discoursed about trees, from the cedar which is in Lebanon, to the hyssop which grows out from the wall. And he explained about beasts, and birds, and reptiles, and fish.	33 Και ελαλησε περι δενδρων, απο της κεδρου της εν τω Λιβανω, μεχρι της υσσωπου της εκφυομενης επι του τοιχου? ελαλησεν ετι περι τετραποδων και περι πτηνων και περι ερπετων και περι ιχθυων.
34 And they came from all the peoples in order to hear the wisdom of Solomon, and from all the kings of the earth, who were hearing about his wisdom.	34 Και ηρχοντο εκ παντων των λαων δια να ακουσωσι την σοφιαν του Σολομωντος, παρα παντων των βασιλεων της γης, οσοι ηκουον την σοφιαν αυτου.
