Revelation 19

1 After this I heard what sounded like the loud voice of a great multitude in heaven, saying: "Alleluia! Salvation, glory, and might belong to our God,	1 Ezek után mintha nagy sokaság hangját hallottam volna az égben: »Alleluja! Üdv, dicsőség és hatalom a mi Istenünknek,
2 for true and just are his judgments. He has condemned the great harlot who corrupted the earth with her harlotry. He has avenged on her the blood of his servants."	2 mert igazak és igazságosak az ő ítéletei, mert ítéletet mondott a nagy parázna asszony fölött, aki paráznaságával megrontotta a földet, és számon kérte szolgáinak vérét a kezéből!«
3 They said a second time: "Alleluia! Smoke will rise from her forever and ever."	3 Azután pedig ezt mondták: »Alleluja! És a füstje felszáll örökkön örökké!«
4 The twenty-four elders and the four living creatures fell down and worshiped God who sat on the throne, saying, "Amen. Alleluia."	4 Ekkor a huszonnégy vén és a négy élőlény arcra borult, és imádták a trónján ülő Istent : »Ámen! Alleluja!«
5 A voice coming from the throne said: "Praise our God, all you his servants, (and) you who revere him, small and great."	5 A trón felől pedig egy hang szólt: »Mondjatok dicséretet Istenünknek mindnyájan, ti szolgái, és akik őt félitek, kicsinyek és nagyok!«
6 Then I heard something like the sound of a great multitude or the sound of rushing water or mighty peals of thunder, as they said: "Alleluia! The Lord has established his reign, (our) God, the almighty.	6 Aztán mintha nagy sereg hangját hallottam volna, olyat, mint a nagy vizek zúgása , és mint a nagy mennydörgés: »Alleluja! Mert uralkodik az Úr, a mi Istenünk, a Mindenható!
7 Let us rejoice and be glad and give him glory. For the wedding day of the Lamb has come, his bride has made herself ready.	7 Örvendezzünk és vigadjunk , és adjuk meg neki a dicsőséget, mert eljött a Bárány menyegzője és a jegyese felkészült!
8 She was allowed to wear a bright, clean linen garment." (The linen represents the righteous deeds of the holy ones.)	8 Megadatott neki, hogy ragyogó és fehér gyolcsba öltözzék; a gyolcs ugyanis a szentek igaz cselekedetei.«
9 Then the angel said to me, "Write this: Blessed are those who have been called to the wedding feast of the Lamb." And he said to me, "These words are true; they come from God."	9 Ekkor így szólt hozzám: »Írd meg: Boldogok, akik hivatalosak a Bárány menyegzős lakomájára!« Majd ezt mondta nekem: »Ezek Isten igaz igéi.«
10 I fell at his feet to worship him. But he said to me, "Don't! I am a fellow servant of yours and of your brothers who bear witness to Jesus. Worship God. Witness to Jesus is the spirit of prophecy."	10 Ekkor a lábához borultam, hogy imádjam őt, de ő így szólt hozzám: »Vigyázz, ne tedd ezt, mert a te szolgatársad vagyok, és testvéreidé, akiknél Jézus tanúságtétele van. Istent imádd, mert Jézus tanúságtétele a prófétálás lelke.«
11 Then I saw the heavens opened, and there was a white horse; its rider was (called) "Faithful and True." He judges and wages war in righteousness.	11 Ekkor láttam a megnyílt eget , és íme, egy fehér ló, és aki azon ült, annak Hűséges és Igaz volt a neve , és igazságosan ítél és harcol.
12 His eyes were (like) a fiery flame, and on his head were many diadems. He had a name inscribed that no one knows except himself.	12 A szeme pedig olyan, mint a tűz lángja , és a fején számos korona. Olyan név van rá írva, amelyet rajta kívül senki sem ismer.
13 He wore a cloak that had been dipped in blood, and his name was called the Word of God.	13 Vértől ázott ruhába volt öltözve, és ez a neve: Isten Igéje.
14 The armies of heaven followed him, mounted on white horses and wearing clean white linen.	14 Az égi seregek követték őt fehér lovakon, fehér és tiszta gyolcsba öltözve.
15 Out of his mouth came a sharp sword to strike the nations. He will rule them with an iron rod, and he himself will tread out in the wine press the wine of the fury and wrath of God the almighty.	15 Szájából kétélű kard nyúlt ki , hogy azzal verje meg a nemzeteket. Ő fogja kormányozni őket vasvesszővel, és ő tapossa a mindenható Isten bosszuló haragjának szőlőprését.
16 He has a name written on his cloak and on his thigh, "King of kings and Lord of lords."	16 A ruhája és ágyéka fölé ez van írva: Királyok Királya és uralkodók Ura!
17 Then I saw an angel standing on the sun. He cried out (in) a loud voice to all the birds flying high overhead, "Come here. Gather for God's great feast,	17 Aztán láttam egy angyalt a napban állni, aki hangosan így kiáltott minden madárnak, amely az ég zenitjén repül: »Jöjjetek és gyűljetek egybe Isten nagy lakomájára,
18 to eat the flesh of kings, the flesh of military officers, and the flesh of warriors, the flesh of horses and of their riders, and the flesh of all, free and slave, small and great."	18 hogy királyok húsát egyétek, és vezérek húsát, és erősek húsát, és lovak húsát, és azokét, akik rajtuk ülnek , és valamennyi szabad embernek és szolgának és kicsinynek és nagynak a húsát!«
19 Then I saw the beast and the kings of the earth and their armies gathered to fight against the one riding the horse and against his army.	19 Láttam, hogy a vadállat és a föld királyai és a seregeik egybegyűltek, hogy harcra keljenek a lovon ülővel és seregével.
20 The beast was caught and with it the false prophet who had performed in its sight the signs by which he led astray those who had accepted the mark of the beast and those who had worshiped its image. The two were thrown alive into the fiery pool burning with sulfur.	20 De a fenevad fogságba esett, és vele együtt az álpróféta, aki a jeleket művelte a színe előtt, amelyekkel elcsábította azokat, akik fölvették a fenevad bélyegét, és akik imádták a képmását. Ezt a kettőt elevenen a kénkővel égő tüzes tóba vetették.
21 The rest were killed by the sword that came out of the mouth of the one riding the horse, and all the birds gorged themselves on their flesh.	21 A többieket pedig megölte a lovon ülő kardja, amely a szájából áll ki. A madarak mind jóllaktak a húsukból .
