Micah 6

NEW AMERICAN BIBLE	LXX
1 Hear, then, what the LORD says: Arise, present your plea before the mountains, and let the hills hear your voice!	1 ακουσατε δη λογον κυριου κυριος ειπεν αναστηθι κριθητι προς τα ορη και ακουσατωσαν οι βουνοι φωνην σου
2 Hear, O mountains, the plea of the LORD, pay attention, O foundations of the earth! For the LORD has a plea against his people, and he enters into trial with Israel.	2 ακουσατε βουνοι την κρισιν του κυριου και αι φαραγγες θεμελια της γης οτι κρισις τω κυριω προς τον λαον αυτου και μετα του ισραηλ διελεγχθησεται
3 O my people, what have I done to you, or how have I wearied you? Answer me!	3 λαος μου τι εποιησα σοι η τι ελυπησα σε η τι παρηνωχλησα σοι αποκριθητι μοι
4 For I brought you up from the land of Egypt, from the place of slavery I released you; And I sent before you Moses, Aaron, and Miriam.	4 διοτι ανηγαγον σε εκ γης αιγυπτου και εξ οικου δουλειας ελυτρωσαμην σε και εξαπεστειλα προ προσωπου σου τον μωυσην και ααρων και μαριαμ
5 My people, remember what Moab's King Balak planned, and how Balaam, the son of Beor, answered him . . . from Shittim to Gilgal, that you may know the just deeds of the LORD.	5 λαος μου μνησθητι δη τι εβουλευσατο κατα σου βαλακ βασιλευς μωαβ και τι απεκριθη αυτω βαλααμ υιος του βεωρ απο των σχοινων εως του γαλγαλ οπως γνωσθη η δικαιοσυνη του κυριου
6 With what shall I come before the LORD, and bow before God most high? Shall I come before him with holocausts, with calves a year old?	6 εν τινι καταλαβω τον κυριον αντιλημψομαι θεου μου υψιστου ει καταλημψομαι αυτον εν ολοκαυτωμασιν εν μοσχοις ενιαυσιοις
7 Will the LORD be pleased with thousands of rams, with myriad streams of oil? Shall I give my first-born for my crime, the fruit of my body for the sin of my soul?	7 ει προσδεξεται κυριος εν χιλιασιν κριων η εν μυριασιν χειμαρρων πιονων ει δω πρωτοτοκα μου ασεβειας καρπον κοιλιας μου υπερ αμαρτιας ψυχης μου
8 You have been told, O man, what is good, and what the LORD requires of you: Only to do right and to love goodness, and to walk humbly with your God.	8 ει ανηγγελη σοι ανθρωπε τι καλον η τι κυριος εκζητει παρα σου αλλ' η του ποιειν κριμα και αγαπαν ελεον και ετοιμον ειναι του πορευεσθαι μετα κυριου θεου σου
9 Hark! the LORD cries to the city. (It is wisdom to fear your name!) Hear, O tribe and city council,	9 φωνη κυριου τη πολει επικληθησεται και σωσει φοβουμενους το ονομα αυτου ακουε φυλη και τις κοσμησει πολιν
10 Am I to bear any longer criminal hoarding and the meager ephah that is accursed?	10 μη πυρ και οικος ανομου θησαυριζων θησαυρους ανομους και μετα υβρεως αδικια
11 Shall I acquit criminal balances, bags of false weights?	11 ει δικαιωθησεται εν ζυγω ανομος και εν μαρσιππω σταθμια δολου
12 You whose rich men are full of violence, whose inhabitants speak falsehood with deceitful tongues in their heads!	12 εξ ων τον πλουτον αυτων ασεβειας επλησαν και οι κατοικουντες αυτην ελαλουν ψευδη και η γλωσσα αυτων υψωθη εν τω στοματι αυτων
13 Rather I will begin to strike you with devastation because of your sins.	13 και εγω αρξομαι του παταξαι σε αφανιω σε επι ταις αμαρτιαις σου
14 You shall eat, without being satisfied, food that will leave you empty; What you acquire, you cannot save; what you do save, I will deliver up to the sword.	14 συ φαγεσαι και ου μη εμπλησθης και σκοτασει εν σοι και εκνευσει και ου μη διασωθης και οσοι εαν διασωθωσιν εις ρομφαιαν παραδοθησονται
15 You shall sow, yet not reap, tread out the olive, yet pour no oil, and the grapes, yet drink no wine.	15 συ σπερεις και ου μη αμησης συ πιεσεις ελαιαν και ου μη αλειψη ελαιον και οινον και ου μη πιητε και αφανισθησεται νομιμα λαου μου
16 You have kept the decrees of Omri, and all the works of the house of Ahab, and you have walked in their counsels; Therefore I will deliver you up to ruin, and your citizens to derision; and you shall bear the reproach of the nations.	16 και εφυλαξας τα δικαιωματα ζαμβρι και παντα τα εργα οικου αχααβ και επορευθητε εν ταις βουλαις αυτων οπως παραδω σε εις αφανισμον και τους κατοικουντας αυτην εις συρισμον και ονειδη λαων λημψεσθε
