Psalms 125

NEW AMERICAN BIBLE	JERUSALEM
1 A song of ascents. Like Mount Zion are they who trust in the LORD, unshakable, forever enduring.	1 Cantique des montées. Qui s'appuie sur Yahvé ressemble au mont Sion: rien ne l'ébranle, il eststable pour toujours.
2 As mountains surround Jerusalem, the LORD surrounds his people both now and forever.	2 Jérusalem! les montagnes l'entourent, ainsi Yahvé entoure son peuple dès maintenant et pourtoujours.
3 The scepter of the wicked will not prevail in the land given to the just, Lest the just themselves turn their hands to evil.	3 Jamais un sceptre impie ne tombera sur la part des justes, de peur que ne tende au crime la maindes justes.
4 Do good, LORD, to the good, to those who are upright of heart.	4 Fais du bien, Yahvé, aux gens de bien, qui ont au coeur la droiture.
5 But those who turn aside to crooked ways may the LORD send down with the wicked. Peace upon Israel!	5 Mais les tortueux, les dévoyés, qu'il les repousse, Yahvé, avec les malfaisants! Paix sur Israël!
