1 "For burning incense you shall make an altar of acacia wood,	1 "Construirás um altar para queimares sobre ele o incenso. Fá-lo-ás de madeira de acácia;
2 with a square surface, a cubit long, a cubit wide, and two cubits high, with horns that spring directly from it.	2 seu comprimento será de um côvado, e sua largura de um côvado; será quadrado e terá dois côvados de altura. Seus cornos farão corpo com ele.
3 Its grate on top, its walls on all four sides, and its horns you shall plate with pure gold. Put a gold molding around it.	3 Cobrirás de ouro puro a sua parte superior, os seus lados ao redor e os seus cornos; e lhe farás uma bordadura de ouro em volta.
4 Underneath the molding you shall put gold rings, two on one side and two on the opposite side, as holders for the poles used in carrying it.	4 Farás para ele duas argolas de ouro, abaixo da bordadura, dos dois lados. 5 Make the poles, too, of acacia wood and plate them with gold.	5 Farás os varais de madeira de acácia e recobri-los-ás de ouro.
6 This altar you are to place in front of the veil that hangs before the ark of the commandments where I will meet you.	6 Colocarás o altar diante do véu que oculta a arca da aliança, em frente do propiciatório que se encontra sobre a arca, no lugar onde virei a ti.
7 "On it Aaron shall burn fragrant incense. Morning after morning, when he prepares the lamps,	7 Aarão queimará sobre o altar incenso aromático a cada manhã,
8 and again in the evening twilight, when he lights the lamps, he shall burn incense. Throughout your generations this shall be the established incense offering before the LORD.	8 quando preparar as lâmpadas; queimá-lo-á também entre as duas tardes, quando acender as lâmpadas. Haverá desse modo incenso diante do Senhor perpetuamente nas gerações futuras.
9 On this altar you shall not offer up any profane incense, or any holocaust or cereal offering; nor shall you pour out a libation upon it.	9 Não oferecereis sobre esse altar nem perfume profano, nem holocausto, nem oferta, e não derramareis sobre ele libação.
10 Once a year Aaron shall perform the atonement rite on its horns. Throughout your generations this atonement is to be made once a year with the blood of the atoning sin offering. This altar is most sacred to the LORD."	10 Uma vez por ano, Aarão fará a expiação sobre os cornos do altar. Com o sangue da vítima pelo pecado, fará a expiação uma vez por ano, em todas as gerações futuras. Esse altar será uma coisa santíssima, consagrada ao Senhor."
11 The LORD also said to Moses,	11 O Senhor disse a Moisés:
12 "When you take a census of the Israelites who are to be registered, each one, as he is enrolled, shall give the LORD a forfeit for his life, so that no plague may come upon them for being registered.	12 "Quando fizeres os recenseamentos dos israelitas, cada um pagará ao Senhor o resgate de sua vida, para que esse alistamento não atraia sobre ele algum flagelo.
13 Everyone who enters the registered group must pay a half-shekel, according to the standard of the sanctuary shekel, twenty gerahs to the shekel. This payment of a half-shekel is a contribution to the LORD.	13 Cada um daqueles que forem recenseados pagará meio siclo {segundo o valor do siclo do santuário, que é de vinte gueras}, meio siclo como contribuição devida ao Senhor.
14 Everyone of twenty years or more who enters the registered group must give this contribution to the LORD.	14 Todo homem recenseado de vinte anos para cima pagará a contribuição devida ao Senhor.
15 The rich need not give more, nor shall the poor give less, than a half-shekel in this contribution to the LORD to pay the forfeit for their lives.	15 O rico não dará mais e o pobre não dará menos de meio siclo para pagar a contribuição devida ao Senhor em resgate de vossas vidas.
16 When you receive this forfeit money from the Israelites, you shall donate it to the service of the meeting tent, that there it may be the Israelites' reminder before the LORD, of the forfeit paid for their lives."	16 Cobrarás dos israelitas o dinheiro do resgate, e o aplicarás ao serviço da tenda de reunião; ele será um memorial diante do Senhor, de como os israelitas asseguraram o resgate de suas vidas."
17 The LORD said to Moses,	17 O Senhor disse a Moisés:
18 "For ablutions you shall make a bronze laver with a bronze base. Place it between the meeting tent and the altar, and put water in it.	18 "Farás uma bacia de bronze para as abluções, com um pedestal de bronze; colocá-la-ás entre a tenda de reunião e o altar, e deitarás água nela.
19 Aaron and his sons shall use it in washing their hands and feet.	19 Aarão e seus filhos tirarão daí a água para lavar as mãos e os pés.
20 When they are about to enter the meeting tent, they must wash with water, lest they die. Likewise when they approach the altar in their ministry, to offer an oblation to the LORD,	20 Quando entrarem na tenda de reunião, deverão lavar-se com essa água, para que não morram. Igualmente quando se aproximarem do altar para o serviço, para oferecer um sacrifício ao Senhor.
21 they must wash their hands and feet, lest they die. This shall be a perpetual ordinance for him and his descendants throughout their generations."	21 Lavarão os pés e as mãos, para que não morram. Essa será para eles, Aarão e sua posteridade, uma lei perpétua, de geração em geração."
22 The LORD said to Moses,	22 O Senhor disse a Moisés:
23 "Take the finest spices: five hundred shekels of free-flowing myrrh; half that amount, that is, two hundred and fifty shekels, of fragrant cinnamon; two hundred and fifty shekels of fragrant cane;	23 "Escolhe os mais preciosos aromas: quinhentos siclos de mirra virgem, a metade, ou seja, duzentos e cinqüenta siclos de cinamomo, duzentos e cinqüenta siclos de cana odorífera,
24 five hundred shekels of cassia-all according to the standard of the sanctuary shekel; together with a hin of olive oil;	24 quinhentos siclos de cássia {segundo o siclo do santuário}, e um hin de óleo de oliva.
25 and blend them into sacred anointing oil, perfumed ointment expertly prepared.	25 Farás com tudo isso um óleo para a sagrada unção, uma mistura odorífera composta segundo a arte do perfumista. Tal será o óleo para a sagrada unção.
26 With this sacred anointing oil you shall anoint the meeting tent and the ark of the commandments,	26 Ungirás com ele a tenda de reunião e a arca da aliança,
27 the table and all its appurtenances, the lampstand and its appurtenances, the altar of incense	27 a mesa e seus acessórios, o candelabro e seus acessórios, o altar dos perfumes,
28 and the altar of holocausts with all its appurtenances, and the laver with its base.	28 o altar dos holocaustos e todos os seus utensílios, e a bacia com seu pedestal.

30 Aaron and his sons you shall also anoint and consecrate as my priests.	30 Ungirás Aarão e seus filhos, e os consagrarás, para que me sirvam como sacerdotes.
31 To the Israelites you shall say: As sacred anointing oil this shall belong to me throughout your generations.	31 Dirás então aos israelitas: este óleo vos servirá para a unção santa, de geração em geração.
32 It may not be used in any ordinary anointing of the body, nor may you make any other oil of a like mixture. It is sacred, and shall be treated as sacred by you.	32 Não se derramará dele sobre o corpo de homem algum; e não fareis outro com a mesma composição: é uma coisa sagrada, e deveis considerá-la como tal.
33 Whoever prepares a perfume like this, or whoever puts any of this on a layman, shall be cut off from his kinsmen."	33 Se alguém fizer uma imitação, ou ungir com ele um estrangeiro, será cortado do meio de seu povo."
34 The LORD told Moses, "Take these aromatic substances: storax and onycha and galbanum, these and pure frankincense in equal parts;	34 O Senhor disse a Moisés: "Toma aromas: resina, casca odorífera, gálbano, aromas e incenso puro em partes iguais.
35 and blend them into incense. This fragrant powder, expertly prepared, is to be salted and so kept pure and sacred.	35 Farás com tudo isso um perfume para a incensação, composto segundo a arte do perfumista, temperado com sal, puro e santo.
36 Grind some of it into fine dust and put this before the commandments in the meeting tent where I will meet you. This incense shall be treated as most sacred by you.	36 Depois de tê-lo reduzido a pó, pô-lo-ás diante da arca da aliança na tenda de reunião, lá onde virei ter contigo. Essa será para vós uma coisa santíssima.
37 You may not make incense of a like mixture for yourselves; you must treat it as sacred to the LORD.	37 Não fareis para vosso uso outro perfume da mesma composição: considerá-lo-ás como uma coisa consagrada ao Senhor.
38 Whoever makes an incense like this for his own enjoyment of its fragrance, shall be cut off from his kinsmen."	38 Se alguém fizer uma imitação desse perfume para respirar o seu odor, será cortado do meio de seu povo."
