ΔΕΥΤΕΡΟΝΟΜΙΟΝ - Deuteronomio - Deuteronomy 16

LXX	NEW JERUSALEM
1 φυλαξαι τον μηνα των νεων και ποιησεις το πασχα κυριω τω θεω σου οτι εν τω μηνι των νεων εξηλθες εξ αιγυπτου νυκτος	1 'Observe the month of Abib and celebrate the Passover for Yahweh your God, because it was in themonth of Abib that Yahweh your God brought you out of Egypt by night.
2 και θυσεις το πασχα κυριω τω θεω σου προβατα και βοας εν τω τοπω ω εαν εκλεξηται κυριος ο θεος σου αυτον επικληθηναι το ονομα αυτου εκει	2 You must sacrifice a Passover from your flock or herd for Yahweh your God in the place whereYahweh chooses to give his name a home.
3 ου φαγη επ' αυτου ζυμην επτα ημερας φαγη επ' αυτου αζυμα αρτον κακωσεως οτι εν σπουδη εξηλθετε εξ αιγυπτου ινα μνησθητε την ημεραν της εξοδιας υμων εκ γης αιγυπτου πασας τας ημερας της ζωης υμων	3 You must not eat leavened bread with this; for seven days you must eat it with unleavened bread --the bread of affliction -- since you left Egypt in great haste; this is so that, as long as you live, you wil rememberthe day you came out of Egypt.
4 ουκ οφθησεται σοι ζυμη εν πασι τοις οριοις σου επτα ημερας και ου κοιμηθησεται απο των κρεων ων εαν θυσης το εσπερας τη ημερα τη πρωτη εις το πρωι	4 For seven days no leaven must be found in any house throughout your territory, nor must any of themeat that you sacrifice in the evening of the first day be kept overnight until the next day.
5 ου δυνηση θυσαι το πασχα εν ουδεμια των πολεων σου ων κυριος ο θεος σου διδωσιν σοι	5 You must sacrifice the Passover not in any of the towns given you by Yahweh your God,
6 αλλ' η εις τον τοπον ον εαν εκλεξηται κυριος ο θεος σου επικληθηναι το ονομα αυτου εκει θυσεις το πασχα εσπερας προς δυσμας ηλιου εν τω καιρω ω εξηλθες εξ αιγυπτου	6 but in the place where Yahweh your God chooses to give his name a home; there you must sacrificethe Passover, in the evening at sunset, at the hour when you came out of Egypt.
7 και εψησεις και οπτησεις και φαγη εν τω τοπω ω εαν εκλεξηται κυριος ο θεος σου αυτον και αποστραφηση το πρωι και απελευση εις τους οικους σου	7 You wil cook it and eat it in the place chosen by Yahweh your God, and in the morning you mustreturn and go to your tents.
8 εξ ημερας φαγη αζυμα και τη ημερα τη εβδομη εξοδιον εορτη κυριω τω θεω σου ου ποιησεις εν αυτη παν εργον πλην οσα ποιηθησεται ψυχη	8 For six days you wil eat unleavened bread; on the seventh day there wil be an assembly for Yahwehyour God; and you must do no work.
9 επτα εβδομαδας ολοκληρους εξαριθμησεις σεαυτω αρξαμενου σου δρεπανον επ' αμητον αρξη εξαριθμησαι επτα εβδομαδας	9 'You must count seven weeks, counting these seven weeks from the time you begin to put your sickleinto the standing corn.
10 και ποιησεις εορτην εβδομαδων κυριω τω θεω σου καθοτι η χειρ σου ισχυει οσα αν δω σοι καθοτι ηυλογησεν σε κυριος ο θεος σου	10 You wil then celebrate the feast of Weeks for Yahweh your God with the gift of a voluntary offeringproportionate to the degree in which Yahweh your God has blessed you.
11 και ευφρανθηση εναντιον κυριου του θεου σου συ και ο υιος σου και η θυγατηρ σου ο παις σου και η παιδισκη σου και ο λευιτης ο εν ταις πολεσιν σου και ο προσηλυτος και ο ορφανος και η χηρα η εν υμιν εν τω τοπω ω εαν εκλεξηται κυριος ο θεος σου επικληθηναι το ονομα αυτου εκει	11 You must rejoice in the presence of Yahweh your God, in the place where Yahweh your Godchooses to give his name a home, you, your son and your daughter, your serving men and women, the Leviteliving in your community, the foreigner, the orphan and the widow living among you.
12 και μνησθηση οτι οικετης ησθα εν γη αιγυπτω και φυλαξη και ποιησεις τας εντολας ταυτας	12 Remember that you were once a slave in Egypt, and careful y observe these laws.
13 εορτην σκηνων ποιησεις σεαυτω επτα ημερας εν τω συναγαγειν σε εκ του αλωνος σου και απο της ληνου σου	13 'You must celebrate the feast of Shelters for seven days, at the time when you gather in the produceof your threshing-floor and winepress.
14 και ευφρανθηση εν τη εορτη σου συ και ο υιος σου και η θυγατηρ σου ο παις σου και η παιδισκη σου και ο λευιτης και ο προσηλυτος και ο ορφανος και η χηρα η ουσα εν ταις πολεσιν σου	14 You must rejoice at your feast, you, your son and your daughter, your serving men and women, theLevite, the foreigner, the orphan and the widow living in your community.
15 επτα ημερας εορτασεις κυριω τω θεω σου εν τω τοπω ω εαν εκλεξηται κυριος ο θεος σου αυτω εαν δε ευλογηση σε κυριος ο θεος σου εν πασιν τοις γενημασιν σου και εν παντι εργω των χειρων σου και εση ευφραινομενος	15 For seven days, you must celebrate the feast for Yahweh your God in the place chosen by Yahweh;for Yahweh your God wil bless you in al your produce and in al your undertakings, so that you will have goodreason to rejoice.
16 τρεις καιρους του ενιαυτου οφθησεται παν αρσενικον σου εναντιον κυριου του θεου σου εν τω τοπω ω εαν εκλεξηται αυτον κυριος εν τη εορτη των αζυμων και εν τη εορτη των εβδομαδων και εν τη εορτη της σκηνοπηγιας ουκ οφθηση ενωπιον κυριου του θεου σου κενος	16 'Three times a year al your menfolk must appear before Yahweh your God in the place chosen byhim: at the feast of Unleavened Bread, at the feast of Weeks, at the feast of Shelters. No one must appearempty-handed before Yahweh,
17 εκαστος κατα δυναμιν των χειρων υμων κατα την ευλογιαν κυριου του θεου σου ην εδωκεν σοι	17 but each must give what he can, in proportion to the blessing which Yahweh your God has bestowedon you.
18 κριτας και γραμματοεισαγωγεις καταστησεις σεαυτω εν πασαις ταις πολεσιν σου αις κυριος ο θεος σου διδωσιν σοι κατα φυλας και κρινουσιν τον λαον κρισιν δικαιαν	18 'You must appoint judges and scribes in each of the towns that Yahweh your God is giving you, foral your tribes; these are to mete out proper justice to the people.
19 ουκ εκκλινουσιν κρισιν ουκ επιγνωσονται προσωπον ουδε λημψονται δωρον τα γαρ δωρα εκτυφλοι οφθαλμους σοφων και εξαιρει λογους δικαιων	19 You must not pervert the law; you must be impartial; you wil take no bribes, for a bribe blinds theeyes of the wise and ruins the cause of the upright.
20 δικαιως το δικαιον διωξη ινα ζητε και εισελθοντες κληρονομησητε την γην ην κυριος ο θεος σου διδωσιν σοι	20 Strict justice must be your ideal, so that you may live long in possession of the country given you byYahweh your God.
21 ου φυτευσεις σεαυτω αλσος παν ξυλον παρα το θυσιαστηριον κυριου του θεου σου ο ποιησεις σεαυτω	21 'You must not plant a sacred pole of any wood whatsoever beside the altar which you erect forYahweh your God;
22 ου στησεις σεαυτω στηλην α εμισησεν κυριος ο θεος σου	22 nor wil you set up a standing-stone, a thing Yahweh your God would abhor.'
