1 εις διαιρεσεις των πυλων υιοις κορειμ μοσολλαμια υιος κωρη εκ των υιων αβιασαφ	1 As for the classes of gatekeepers. Of the Korahites was Meshelemiah, the son of Kore, one of the sons of Abiasaph.
2 και τω μοσολλαμια υιοι ζαχαριας ο πρωτοτοκος ιδιηλ ο δευτερος ζαβαδιας ο τριτος ιεθνουηλ ο τεταρτος	2 Meshelemiah's sons: Zechariah, the first-born, Jediael, the second son, Zebadiah, the third, Jathniel, the fourth,
3 ωλαμ ο πεμπτος ιωαναν ο εκτος ελιωηναι ο εβδομος	3 Elam, the fifth, Jehohanan, the sixth, Eliehoenai, the seventh.
4 και τω αβδεδομ υιοι σαμαιας ο πρωτοτοκος ιωζαβαδ ο δευτερος ιωαα ο τριτος σωχαρ ο τεταρτος ναθαναηλ ο πεμπτος	4 Obed-edom's sons: Shemaiah, the first-born, Jehozabad, a second son, Joah, the third, Sachar, the fourth, Nethanel, the fifth,
5 αμιηλ ο εκτος ισσαχαρ ο εβδομος φολλαθι ο ογδοος οτι ευλογησεν αυτον ο θεος	5 Ammiel, the sixth, Issachar, the seventh, Peullethai, the eighth, for God blessed him.
6 και τω σαμαια υιω αυτου ετεχθησαν υιοι του πρωτοτοκου ρωσαι εις τον οικον τον πατρικον αυτου οτι δυνατοι ησαν	6 To his son Shemaiah were born sons who ruled over their family, for they were warriors.
7 υιοι σαμαια γοθνι και ραφαηλ και ωβηδ και ελζαβαδ και αχιου υιοι δυνατοι ελιου και σαβχια και ισβακωμ	7 The sons of Shemaiah were Othni, Rephael, Obed, and Elzabad; also his brethren who were men of might, Elihu and Semachiah.
8 παντες απο των υιων αβδεδομ αυτοι και οι αδελφοι αυτων και υιοι αυτων ποιουντες δυνατως εν τη εργασια οι παντες εξηκοντα δυο τω αβδεδομ	8 All these were the sons of Obed-edom, who, together with their sons and their brethren, were mighty men, fit for the service. Of Obed-edom, sixty-two.
9 και τω μοσολλαμια υιοι και αδελφοι δεκα και οκτω δυνατοι	9 Of Meshelemiah, eighteen sons and brethren, mighty men.
10 και τω ωσα των υιων μεραρι υιοι φυλασσοντες την αρχην οτι ουκ ην πρωτοτοκος και εποιησεν αυτον ο πατηρ αυτου αρχοντα	10 Hosah, a descendant of Merari, had these sons: Shimri, the chief (for though he was not the first-born, his father made him chief),
11 της διαιρεσεως της δευτερας ταβλαι ο τριτος ζαχαριας ο τεταρτος παντες ουτοι υιοι και αδελφοι τω ωσα τρισκαιδεκα	11 Hilkiah, the second son, Tebaliah, the third, Zechariah, the fourth. All the sons and brethren of Hosah were thirteen.
12 τουτοις αι διαιρεσεις των πυλων τοις αρχουσι των δυνατων εφημεριαι καθως οι αδελφοι αυτων λειτουργειν εν οικω κυριου	12 To these classes of gatekeepers, under their chief men, were assigned watches in the service of the house of the LORD, for each group in the same way.
13 και εβαλον κληρους κατα τον μικρον και κατα τον μεγαν κατ' οικους πατριων αυτων εις πυλωνα και πυλωνα	13 They cast lots for each gate, the small and the large families alike.
14 και επεσεν ο κληρος των προς ανατολας τω σαλαμια και ζαχαρια υιοι ιωας τω μελχια εβαλον κληρους και εξηλθεν ο κληρος βορρα	14 When the lot was cast for the east side, it fell to Meshelemiah. Then they cast lots for his son Zechariah, a prudent counselor, and the north side fell to his lot.
15 τω αβδεδομ νοτον κατεναντι οικου εσεφιν	15 To Obed-edom fell the south side, and to his sons the storehouse.
16 εις δευτερον τω ωσα προς δυσμαις μετα την πυλην παστοφοριου της αναβασεως φυλακη κατεναντι φυλακης	16 To Hosah fell the west side with the Shallecheth gate at the ascending highway. For each family, watches were established.
17 προς ανατολας εξ την ημεραν βορρα της ημερας τεσσαρες νοτον της ημερας τεσσαρες και εις το εσεφιν δυο	17 On the east, six watched each day, on the north, four each day, on the south, four each day, and at the storehouse they were two and two;
18 εις διαδεχομενους και προς δυσμαις τεσσαρες και εις τον τριβον δυο διαδεχομενους	18 as for the large building on the west, there were four at the highway and two at the large building.
19 αυται αι διαιρεσεις των πυλωρων τοις υιοις κορε και τοις υιοις μεραρι	19 These were the classes of the gatekeepers, descendants of Kore and Merari.
20 και οι λευιται αδελφοι αυτων επι των θησαυρων οικου κυριου και επι των θησαυρων των καθηγιασμενων	20 Their brother Levites superintended the stores for the house of God and the stores of votive offerings.
21 υιοι λαδαν υιοι τω γηρσωνι τω λαδαν αρχοντες πατριων τω λαδαν τω γηρσωνι ιιηλ	21 Among the descendants of Ladan the Gershonite, the family heads were descendants of Jehiel: the descendants of Jehiel,
22 και υιοι ιιηλ ζεθομ και ιωηλ οι αδελφοι επι των θησαυρων οικου κυριου	22 Zetham and his brother Joel, who superintended the treasures of the house of the LORD.
23 τω αμβραμ και ισσααρ χεβρων και οζιηλ	23 From the Amramites, Izharites, Hebronites, and Uzzielites,
24 και σουβαηλ ο του γηρσαμ του μωυση ηγουμενος επι των θησαυρων	24 Shubael, son of Gershon, son of Moses, was chief superintendent over the treasures.
25 και τω αδελφω αυτου τω ελιεζερ ρααβιας υιος και ιωσαιας και ιωραμ και ζεχρι και σαλωμωθ	25 His associate pertained to Eliezer, whose son was Rehabiah, whose son was Jeshaiah, whose son was Joram, whose son was Zichri, whose son was Shelomith.
26 αυτος σαλωμωθ και οι αδελφοι αυτου επι παντων των θησαυρων των αγιων ους ηγιασεν δαυιδ ο βασιλευς και οι αρχοντες των πατριων χιλιαρχοι και εκατονταρχοι και αρχηγοι της δυναμεως	26 This Shelomith and his brethren superintended all the stores of the votive offerings dedicated by King David, the heads of the families, the commanders of thousands and of hundreds, and the commanders of the army,
27 α ελαβεν εκ των πολεμων και εκ των λαφυρων και ηγιασεν απ' αυτων του μη καθυστερησαι την οικοδομην του οικου του θεου	27 from the booty they had taken in the wars, for the enhancement of the house of the LORD.
28 και επι παντων των αγιων σαμουηλ του προφητου και σαουλ του κις και αβεννηρ του νηρ και ιωαβ του σαρουια παν ο ηγιασαν δια χειρος σαλωμωθ και των αδελφων αυτου	28 Also, whatever Samuel the seer, Saul, son of Kish, Abner, son of Ner, Joab, son of Zeruiah, and all others had consecrated, was under the charge of Shelomith and his brethren.
29 τω ισσαρι χωνενια και υιοι αυτου της εργασιας της εξω επι τον ισραηλ του γραμματευειν και διακρινειν	29 Among the Izharites, Chenaniah and his sons were in charge of Israel's civil affairs as officials and judges.
30 τω χεβρωνι ασαβιας και οι αδελφοι αυτου υιοι δυνατοι χιλιοι και επτακοσιοι επι της επισκεψεως του ισραηλ περαν του ιορδανου προς δυσμαις εις πασαν λειτουργιαν κυριου και εργασιαν του βασιλεως	30 Among the Hebronites, Hashabiah and his brethren, one thousand seven hundred police officers, had the administration of Israel on the western side of the Jordan in all the work of the LORD and in the service of the king.
31 του χεβρωνι ιουδιας ο αρχων των χεβρωνι κατα γενεσεις αυτων κατα πατριας εν τω τεσσαρακοστω ετει της βασιλειας αυτου επεσκεπησαν και ευρεθη ανηρ δυνατος εν αυτοις εν ιαζηρ της γαλααδιτιδος	31 Among the Hebronites, Jerijah was their chief according to their family records. In the fortieth year of David's reign search was made, and there were found among them outstanding officers at Jazer of Gilead.
32 και οι αδελφοι αυτου υιοι δυνατοι δισχιλιοι επτακοσιοι αρχοντες πατριων και κατεστησεν αυτους δαυιδ ο βασιλευς επι του ρουβηνι και γαδδι και ημισους φυλης μανασση εις παν προσταγμα κυριου και λογον βασιλεως	32 His brethren were also police officers, two thousand seven hundred heads of families. King David appointed them to the administration of the Reubenites, the Gadites, and the half-tribe of Manasseh in everything pertaining to God and to the king.
