Revelation 4

1 After this I looked, and, behold, a door was opened in heaven: and the first voice which I heard was as it were of a trumpet talking with me; which said, Come up hither, and I will shew thee things which must be hereafter.	1 Después tuve la siguiente visión: Había una puerta abierta en el cielo, y la voz que había escuchado antes, hablándome como una trompeta, me dijo: «Sube aquí, y te mostraré las cosas que deben suceder en seguida».
2 And immediately I was in the spirit: and, behold, a throne was set in heaven, and one sat on the throne.	2 En ese mismo momento, fui arrebatado por el Espíritu y vi en el cielo un trono, en el cual alguien estaba sentado.
3 And he that sat was to look upon like a jasper and a sardine stone: and there was a rainbow round about the throne, in sight like unto an emerald.	3 El que estaba sentado tenía el aspecto de una piedra de jaspe y de ágata. Rodeando el trono, vi un arco iris que tenía el aspecto de la esmeralda.
4 And round about the throne were four and twenty seats: and upon the seats I saw four and twenty elders sitting, clothed in white raiment; and they had on their heads crowns of gold.	4 Y alrededor de él, había otros veinticuatro tronos, donde estaban sentados veinticuatro Ancianos, con túnicas blancas y coronas de oro en la cabeza.
5 And out of the throne proceeded lightnings and thunderings and voices: and there were seven lamps of fire burning before the throne, which are the seven Spirits of God.	5 Del trono salían relámpagos, voces y truenos, y delante de él ardían siete lámparas de fuego, que son los siete Espíritus de Dios.
6 And before the throne there was a sea of glass like unto crystal: and in the midst of the throne, and round about the throne, were four beasts full of eyes before and behind.	6 Frente al trono, se extendía como un mar transparente semejante al cristal. En medio del trono y alrededor de él, había cuatro Seres Vivientes, llenos de ojos por delante y por detrás.
7 And the first beast was like a lion, and the second beast like a calf, and the third beast had a face as a man, and the fourth beast was like a flying eagle.	7 El primer Ser Viviente era semejante a un león; el segundo, a un toro; el tercero tenía rostro humano; y el cuarto era semejante a un águila en pleno vuelo.
8 And the four beasts had each of them six wings about him; and they were full of eyes within: and they rest not day and night, saying, Holy, holy, holy, Lord God Almighty, which was, and is, and is to come.	8 Cada uno de los cuatro Seres Vivientes tenía seis alas y estaba lleno de ojos por dentro y por fuera. Y repetían sin cesar, día y noche: «Santo, santo, santo es el Señor Dios, el Todopoderoso, el que era, el que es y el que vendrá».
9 And when those beasts give glory and honour and thanks to him that sat on the throne, who liveth for ever and ever,	9 Y cada vez que los Seres Vivientes daban gloria, honor y acción de gracias al que está sentado en el trono, al que vive por los siglos de los siglos,
10 The four and twenty elders fall down before him that sat on the throne, and worship him that liveth for ever and ever, and cast their crowns before the throne, saying,	10 los veinticuatro Ancianos se postraban ante él para adorarlo, y ponían sus coronas delante del trono, diciendo:
11 Thou art worthy, O Lord, to receive glory and honour and power: for thou hast created all things, and for thy pleasure they are and were created.	11 «Tú eres digno, Señor y Dios nuestro, de recibir la gloria, el honor y el poder. Porque has creado todas las cosas: ellas existen y fueron creadas por tu voluntad».
