Leviticus 14

KING JAMES BIBLE	JERUSALEM
1 And the LORD spake unto Moses, saying,	1 Yahvé parla à Moïse et dit:
2 This shall be the law of the leper in the day of his cleansing: He shall be brought unto the priest:	2 Voici la loi à appliquer au lépreux le jour de sa purification. On le conduira au prêtre,
3 And the priest shall go forth out of the camp; and the priest shall look, and, behold, if the plague of leprosy be healed in the leper;	3 et le prêtre sortira du camp. S'il constate, après examen, que le lépreux est guéri de sa lèpre,
4 Then shall the priest command to take for him that is to be cleansed two birds alive and clean, and cedar wood, and scarlet, and hyssop:	4 il ordonnera de prendre pour l'homme à purifier deux oiseaux vivants et purs, du bois de cèdre,du rouge de cochenille et de l'hysope.
5 And the priest shall command that one of the birds be killed in an earthen vessel over running water:	5 Il ordonnera ensuite d'immoler un oiseau sur un pot d'argile au-dessus d'une eau vive.
6 As for the living bird, he shall take it, and the cedar wood, and the scarlet, and the hyssop, and shall dip them and the living bird in the blood of the bird that was killed over the running water:	6 Quant à l'oiseau encore vivant, il le prendra ainsi que le bois de cèdre, le rouge de cochenille,l'hysope, et il plongera le tout (y compris l'oiseau vivant) dans le sang de l'oiseau immolé au-dessus de l'eaucourante.
7 And he shall sprinkle upon him that is to be cleansed from the leprosy seven times, and shall pronounce him clean, and shall let the living bird loose into the open field.	7 Il fera alors sept aspersions sur l'homme à purifier de la lèpre et, l'ayant déclaré pur, il lâcheral'oiseau vivant dans la campagne.
8 And he that is to be cleansed shall wash his clothes, and shave off all his hair, and wash himself in water, that he may be clean: and after that he shall come into the camp, and shall tarry abroad out of his tent seven days.	8 Celui qui se purifie nettoiera ses vêtements, il se rasera tous les poils, il se lavera à l'eau et serapur. Après quoi il rentrera au camp, mais il restera sept jours hors de sa tente.
9 But it shall be on the seventh day, that he shall shave all his hair off his head and his beard and his eyebrows, even all his hair he shall shave off: and he shall wash his clothes, also he shall wash his flesh in water, and he shall be clean.	9 Le septième jour il se rasera tous les poils: cheveux, barbe, sourcils; il devra se raser tous lespoils. Après avoir nettoyé ses vêtements et s'être lavé à l'eau, il sera pur.
10 And on the eighth day he shall take two he lambs without blemish, and one ewe lamb of the first year without blemish, and three tenth deals of fine flour for a meat offering, mingled with oil, and one log of oil.	10 Le huitième jour il prendra deux agneaux sans défaut, une agnelle d'un an sans défaut, troisdixièmes de fleur de farine pétrie à l'huile, pour l'oblation, et une pinte d'huile.
11 And the priest that maketh him clean shall present the man that is to be made clean, and those things, before the LORD, at the door of the tabernacle of the congregation:	11 Le prêtre qui accomplit la purification placera l'homme à purifier, ainsi que ses offrandes, àl'entrée de la Tente du Rendez-vous, devant Yahvé.
12 And the priest shall take one he lamb, and offer him for a trespass offering, and the log of oil, and wave them for a wave offering before the LORD:	12 Puis il prendra l'un des agneaux. Il l'offrira en sacrifice de réparation ainsi que la pinte d'huile.Il fera avec eux le geste de présentation devant Yahvé.
13 And he shall slay the lamb in the place where he shall kill the sin offering and the burnt offering, in the holy place: for as the sin offering is the priest's, so is the trespass offering: it is most holy:	13 Il immolera l'agneau à l'endroit du lieu saint où l'on immole les victimes du sacrifice pour lepéché et de l'holocauste. Cette victime de réparation reviendra au prêtre comme un sacrifice pour le péché, c'estune chose très sainte.
14 And the priest shall take some of the blood of the trespass offering, and the priest shall put it upon the tip of the right ear of him that is to be cleansed, and upon the thumb of his right hand, and upon the great toe of his right foot:	14 Le prêtre prendra du sang de ce sacrifice. Il le mettra sur le lobe de l'oreille droite de celui quise purifie, sur le pouce de sa main droite et sur le gros orteil de son pied droit.
15 And the priest shall take some of the log of oil, and pour it into the palm of his own left hand:	15 Il prendra ensuite la pinte d'huile et en versera un peu dans le creux de sa main gauche.
16 And the priest shall dip his right finger in the oil that is in his left hand, and shall sprinkle of the oil with his finger seven times before the LORD:	16 Il trempera un doigt de sa main droite dans l'huile qui est au creux de sa main gauche et de cettehuile il fera avec son doigt sept aspersions devant Yahvé.
17 And of the rest of the oil that is in his hand shall the priest put upon the tip of the right ear of him that is to be cleansed, and upon the thumb of his right hand, and upon the great toe of his right foot, upon the blood of the trespass offering:	17 Puis il mettra un peu de l'huile qui lui reste dans le creux de la main sur le lobe de l'oreilledroite de celui qui se purifie, sur le pouce de sa main droite et sur le gros orteil de son pied droit, en plus du sangdu sacrifice de réparation.
18 And the remnant of the oil that is in the priest's hand he shall pour upon the head of him that is to be cleansed: and the priest shall make an atonement for him before the LORD.	18 Le reste d'huile qu'il a dans le creux de la main, il le mettra sur la tête de celui qui se purifie. Ilaura fait ainsi sur lui le rite d'expiation devant Yahvé.
19 And the priest shall offer the sin offering, and make an atonement for him that is to be cleansed from his uncleanness; and afterward he shall kill the burnt offering:	19 Le prêtre fera alors le sacrifice pour le péché et accomplira sur celui qui se purifie le rited'expiation de son impureté. Après quoi il immolera l'holocauste,
20 And the priest shall offer the burnt offering and the meat offering upon the altar: and the priest shall make an atonement for him, and he shall be clean.	20 il fera monter à l'autel holocauste et oblation. Quand le prêtre aura ainsi accompli sur cethomme le rite d'expiation, il sera pur.
21 And if he be poor, and cannot get so much; then he shall take one lamb for a trespass offering to be waved, to make an atonement for him, and one tenth deal of fine flour mingled with oil for a meat offering, and a log of oil;	21 S'il est pauvre et dépourvu des ressources suffisantes, il prendra un seul agneau, celui dusacrifice de réparation, et on l'offrira selon le geste de présentation pour accomplir sur cet homme le rited'expiation. Il ne prendra aussi qu'un dixième de fleur de farine pétrie à l'huile, pour l'oblation, et la pinte d'huile,
22 And two turtledoves, or two young pigeons, such as he is able to get; and the one shall be a sin offering, and the other a burnt offering.	22 enfin deux tourterelles ou deux pigeons -- s'il est en mesure de se les procurer -- dont l'un seradestiné au sacrifice pour le péché et l'autre à l'holocauste.
23 And he shall bring them on the eighth day for his cleansing unto the priest, unto the door of the tabernacle of the congregation, before the LORD.	23 C'est le huitième jour qu'en vue de sa purification il les apportera au prêtre, à l'entrée de laTente du Rendez-vous, devant Yahvé.
24 And the priest shall take the lamb of the trespass offering, and the log of oil, and the priest shall wave them for a wave offering before the LORD:	24 Le prêtre prendra l'agneau du sacrifice de réparation et la pinte d'huile. Il les offrira en geste deprésentation devant Yahvé.
25 And he shall kill the lamb of the trespass offering, and the priest shall take some of the blood of the trespass offering, and put it upon the tip of the right ear of him that is to be cleansed, and upon the thumb of his right hand, and upon the great toe of his right foot:	25 Puis, ayant immolé cet agneau du sacrifice de réparation, il en prendra du sang et le mettra surle lobe de l'oreille droite de celui qui se purifie, sur le pouce de sa main droite et sur le gros orteil de son pieddroit.
26 And the priest shall pour of the oil into the palm of his own left hand:	26 Il versera de l'huile dans le creux de sa main gauche
27 And the priest shall sprinkle with his right finger some of the oil that is in his left hand seven times before the LORD:	27 et, de cette huile qui est dans le creux de sa main gauche, il fera avec son doigt sept aspersionsdevant Yahvé.
28 And the priest shall put of the oil that is in his hand upon the tip of the right ear of him that is to be cleansed, and upon the thumb of his right hand, and upon the great toe of his right foot, upon the place of the blood of the trespass offering:	28 Il en mettra sur le lobe de l'oreille droite de celui qui se purifie, sur le pouce de sa main droite,sur le gros orteil de son pied droit, à l'endroit où a été posé le sang du sacrifice de réparation.
29 And the rest of the oil that is in the priest's hand he shall put upon the head of him that is to be cleansed, to make an atonement for him before the LORD.	29 Ce qui lui reste d'huile dans le creux de la main, il le mettra sur la tête de celui qui se purifie enfaisant sur lui le rite d'expiation devant Yahvé.
30 And he shall offer the one of the turtledoves, or of the young pigeons, such as he can get;	30 De l'une des deux tourterelles ou de l'un des deux pigeons -- de ce qu'il est en mesure de seprocurer -- il fera
31 Even such as he is able to get, the one for a sin offering, and the other for a burnt offering, with the meat offering: and the priest shall make an atonement for him that is to be cleansed before the LORD.	31 un sacrifice pour le péché et, de l'autre, un holocauste accompagné d'oblation -- avec ce qu'ilaura été en mesure de se procurer. Le prêtre aura fait ainsi le rite d'expiation devant Yahvé sur celui qui sepurifie.
32 This is the law of him in whom is the plague of leprosy, whose hand is not able to get that which pertaineth to his cleansing.	32 Telle est la loi concernant celui qui est atteint de lèpre sans être à même de pourvoir à sapurification.
33 And the LORD spake unto Moses and unto Aaron, saying,	33 Yahvé parla à Moïse et à Aaron et dit:
34 When ye be come into the land of Canaan, which I give to you for a possession, and I put the plague of leprosy in a house of the land of your possession;	34 Lorsque vous serez arrivés au pays de Canaan que je vous donne pour domaine, si je frappe dela lèpre une maison du pays que vous posséderez,
35 And he that owneth the house shall come and tell the priest, saying, It seemeth to me there is as it were a plague in the house:	35 son propriétaire viendra avertir le prêtre et dira: "J'ai vu comme de la lèpre dans la maison."
36 Then the priest shall command that they empty the house, before the priest go into it to see the plague, that all that is in the house be not made unclean: and afterward the priest shall go in to see the house:	36 Le prêtre ordonnera de vider la maison avant qu'il ne vienne examiner le mal; ainsi rien nedeviendra impur de ce qui s'y trouve. Après quoi le prêtre viendra observer la maison,
37 And he shall look on the plague, and, behold, if the plague be in the walls of the house with hollow strakes, greenish or reddish, which in sight are lower than the wall;	37 et si, après examen, il constate sur les murs de la maison des cavités verdâtres ou rougeâtres quifont creux dans le mur,
38 Then the priest shall go out of the house to the door of the house, and shut up the house seven days:	38 le prêtre sortira de la maison, à la porte, et il la fera fermer sept jours.
39 And the priest shall come again the seventh day, and shall look: and, behold, if the plague be spread in the walls of the house;	39 Il reviendra le septième jour et si, après examen, il constate que le mal s'est développé sur lesmurs de la maison,
40 Then the priest shall command that they take away the stones in which the plague is, and they shall cast them into an unclean place without the city:	40 il ordonnera que l'on retire les pierres attaquées par le mal et qu'on les jette hors de la ville enun lieu impur.
41 And he shall cause the house to be scraped within round about, and they shall pour out the dust that they scrape off without the city into an unclean place:	41 Puis il fera gratter toutes les parois intérieures de la maison et l'on répandra le crépi ainsidétaché dans un lieu impur à l'extérieur de la ville.
42 And they shall take other stones, and put them in the place of those stones; and he shall take other morter, and shall plaister the house.	42 On prendra d'autres pierres pour remplacer les premières et un autre enduit pour recrépir lamaison.
43 And if the plague come again, and break out in the house, after that he hath taken away the stones, and after he hath scraped the house, and after it is plaistered;	43 Si le mal prolifère à nouveau après l'enlèvement des pierres, le décapage et le crépissage de lamaison,
44 Then the priest shall come and look, and, behold, if the plague be spread in the house, it is a fretting leprosy in the house: it is unclean.	44 le prêtre viendra l'examiner; s'il constate que le mal s'est développé, c'est une lèpre contagieusedans la maison; celle-ci est impure.
45 And he shall break down the house, the stones of it, and the timber thereof, and all the morter of the house; and he shall carry them forth out of the city into an unclean place.	45 On la démolira, on portera dans un lieu impur, hors de la ville, ses pierres, ses charpentes et toutson crépi.
46 Moreover he that goeth into the house all the while that it is shut up shall be unclean until the even.	46 Quiconque entrera dans la maison, pendant tout le temps qu'on la tient fermée, sera impurjusqu'au soir.
47 And he that lieth in the house shall wash his clothes; and he that eateth in the house shall wash his clothes.	47 Quiconque y couchera devra nettoyer ses vêtements. Quiconque y mangera devra nettoyer sesvêtements.
48 And if the priest shall come in, and look upon it, and, behold, the plague hath not spread in the house, after the house was plaistered: then the priest shall pronounce the house clean, because the plague is healed.	48 Mais si le prêtre, lorsqu'il vient examiner le mal, constate qu'il ne s'est pas développé dans lamaison après le crépissage, il déclarera pure la maison, car le mal est guéri.
49 And he shall take to cleanse the house two birds, and cedar wood, and scarlet, and hyssop:	49 En vue d'un sacrifice pour le péché de la maison, il prendra deux oiseaux, du bois de cèdre, durouge de cochenille et de l'hysope.
50 And he shall kill the one of the birds in an earthen vessel over running water:	50 Il immolera un des oiseaux sur un pot d'argile au-dessus d'une eau courante.
51 And he shall take the cedar wood, and the hyssop, and the scarlet, and the living bird, and dip them in the blood of the slain bird, and in the running water, and sprinkle the house seven times:	51 Puis il prendra le bois de cèdre, l'hysope, le rouge de cochenille et l'oiseau encore vivant, pourles plonger dans le sang de l'oiseau immolé et dans l'eau courante. Il fera sept aspersions sur la maison
52 And he shall cleanse the house with the blood of the bird, and with the running water, and with the living bird, and with the cedar wood, and with the hyssop, and with the scarlet:	52 et, après avoir fait le sacrifice pour le péché de la maison par le sang de l'oiseau, l'eau courante,l'oiseau vivant, le bois de cèdre, l'hysope et le rouge de cochenille,
53 But he shall let go the living bird out of the city into the open fields, and make an atonement for the house: and it shall be clean.	53 il lâchera l'oiseau vivant hors de la ville, dans la campagne. Le rite d'expiation ainsi fait sur lamaison, elle sera pure.
54 This is the law for all manner of plague of leprosy, and scall,	54 Telle est la loi concernant tous cas de lèpre et de teigne,
55 And for the leprosy of a garment, and of a house,	55 la lèpre des vêtements et des maisons,
56 And for a rising, and for a scab, and for a bright spot:	56 les tumeurs, dartres et taches.
57 To teach when it is unclean, and when it is clean: this is the law of leprosy.	57 Elle fixe les temps d'impureté et de pureté. Telle est la loi sur la lèpre.
