1 Thus saith the LORD, Keep ye judgment, and do justice: for my salvation is near to come, and my righteousness to be revealed.	1 Voici ce que dit Yahvé: Observez le droit et pratiquez ce qui est juste, car mon salut est proche et ma justice va se révéler.
2 Blessed is the man that doeth this, and the son of man that layeth hold on it; that keepeth the sabbath from polluting it, and keepeth his hand from doing any evil.	2 Heureux le mortel qui règle ainsi sa conduite, l’homme qui s’y attache, qui respecte le sabbat au lieu de le profaner et s’abstient de tout ce qui est mal.
3 Neither let the son of the stranger, that hath joined himself to the LORD, speak, saying, The LORD hath utterly separated me from his people: neither let the eunuch say, Behold, I am a dry tree.	3 Le fils de l’étranger qui s’est attaché à Yahvé ne doit pas dire: “Yahvé me tiendra toujours à l’écart de son peuple.” Et l’eunuque ne doit pas dire: “Moi, je suis un arbre sec.”
4 For thus saith the LORD unto the eunuchs that keep my sabbaths, and choose the things that please me, and take hold of my covenant;	4 Car voici ce que dit Yahvé pour les eunuques qui respectent ses sabbats, qui choisissent de faire ce qui lui plaît et qui restent fermement attachés à mon Alliance:
5 Even unto them will I give in mine house and within my walls a place and a name better than of sons and of daughters: I will give them an everlasting name, that shall not be cut off.	5 La place et la considération que je leur donnerai dans ma Maison et mes parvis, auront plus de valeur pour eux que des fils et des filles; je leur donnerai un nom éternel qui ne sera jamais effacé.
6 Also the sons of the stranger, that join themselves to the LORD, to serve him, and to love the name of the LORD, to be his servants, every one that keepeth the sabbath from polluting it, and taketh hold of my covenant;	6 Si des étrangers s’attachent à Yahvé pour le servir, s’ils aiment le nom de Yahvé et deviennent ses serviteurs, s’ils respectent le sabbat au lieu de le profaner et restent attachés à mon alliance,
7 Even them will I bring to my holy mountain, and make them joyful in my house of prayer: their burnt offerings and their sacrifices shall be accepted upon mine altar; for mine house shall be called an house of prayer for all people.	7 je les ferai venir sur ma montagne sainte, je les comblerai de joie dans ma maison de prière, et leurs holocaustes ou sacrifices seront accueillis sur mon autel. Car ma maison sera appelée Maison-de-Prière pour tous les peuples.
8 The Lord GOD which gathereth the outcasts of Israel saith, Yet will I gather others to him, beside those that are gathered unto him.	8 Voici ce que dit le Seigneur Yahvé, qui rassemble les déportés d’Israël: J’en rassemblerai bien d’autres autour de lui, en plus de ceux qui sont déjà réunis.
9 All ye beasts of the field, come to devour, yea, all ye beasts in the forest.	9 Vous tous, animaux des champs, et vous toutes, bêtes de la forêt, approchez et dévorez!
10 His watchmen are blind: they are all ignorant, they are all dumb dogs, they cannot bark; sleeping, lying down, loving to slumber.	10 Tous ces guetteurs sont des aveugles qui ne savent rien, ce sont des chiens muets incapables d’aboyer, qui rêvent et s’allongent et qui aiment dormir.
11 Yea, they are greedy dogs which can never have enough, and they are shepherds that cannot understand: they all look to their own way, every one for his gain, from his quarter.	11 Oui, ce sont des chiens voraces qui n’en ont jamais assez. Ils sont pourtant des bergers, mais incapables de comprendre. Tous cherchent leur intérêt, et chacun suit son propre chemin:
12 Come ye, say they, I will fetch wine, and we will fill ourselves with strong drink; and to morrow shall be as this day, and much more abundant.	12 “Venez! Je vais chercher du vin, nous nous enivrerons de liqueurs, et demain sera comme aujourd’hui un grand, un très grand jour!”
