Psalms 28

1 Unto thee will I cry, O LORD my rock; be not silent to me: lest, if thou be silent to me, I become like them that go down into the pit.	1 Salmo di David nel terminarsi il tabernacolo. Presentate al Signore, o figliuoli di Dio, presentate al Signore gli agnelli.
2 Hear the voice of my supplications, when I cry unto thee, when I lift up my hands toward thy holy oracle.	2 Presentate al Signore la gloria, e l'onore, presentate al Signore la gloria dovuta al suo nome, adorate il Signore nell'atrio del suo santuario.
3 Draw me not away with the wicked, and with the workers of iniquity, which speak peace to their neighbours, but mischief is in their hearts.	3 La voce del Signore sopra le acque; il Signore della maestà tuonò, il Signore sopra le molte acque.
4 Give them according to their deeds, and according to the wickedness of their endeavours: give them after the work of their hands; render to them their desert.	4 La voce del Signore è possente; la voce del Signore piena di magnificenza.
5 Because they regard not the works of the LORD, nor the operation of his hands, he shall destroy them, and not build them up.	5 La voce del Signore, che spezza i cedri: e il Signore spezzerà i cedri del Libano.
6 Blessed be the LORD, because he hath heard the voice of my supplications.	6 E faragli in pezzi come un vitello del Libano, e il diletto (è) come il figlio dell'unicorno.
7 The LORD is my strength and my shield; my heart trusted in him, and I am helped: therefore my heart greatly rejoiceth; and with my song will I praise him.	7 La voce del Signore, che divide la fiamma del fuoco:
8 The LORD is their strength, and he is the saving strength of his anointed.	8 La voce del Signore, che scuote il deserto, e il Signore scuoterà il deserto di Cades.
9 Save thy people, and bless thine inheritance: feed them also, and lift them up for ever.	9 La voce del Signore, che prepara i cervi, e le folte macchie rischiara, e nel tempio di lui tutti gli daran gloria.
	10 Il Signore vi manderà un diluvio, e sarà assiso il Signore qual Re in eterno.
	11 Il Signore darà fortezza al suo popolo: il Signore darà al popol suo benedizione di pace.
