Psalms 23

1 The LORD is my shepherd; I shall not want.	1 Salmo. Di Davide. Il Signore è il mio pastore: nulla mi mancherà.
2 He maketh me to lie down in green pastures: he leadeth me beside the still waters.	2 In pascoli verdeggianti mi fa riposare, ad acque di ristoro egli mi conduce.
3 He restoreth my soul: he leadeth me in the paths of righteousness for his name's sake.	3 Egli rinfranca l'anima mia, in sentieri di giustizia egli mi guida in grazia del suo nome.
4 Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me.	4 Anche se camminassi in una valle oscura, non temerei alcun male, poiché tu sei con me; il tuo bastone e il tuo vincastro sono essi la mia difesa.
5 Thou preparest a table before me in the presence of mine enemies: thou anointest my head with oil; my cup runneth over.	5 Una mensa tu prepari davanti a me di fronte ai miei avversari, hai unto con olio il mio capo e la mia coppa è traboccante.
6 Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life: and I will dwell in the house of the LORD for ever.	6 Certo, bontà e misericordia mi accompagneranno per tutti i giorni della mia vita, e rimarrò nella casa del Signore per lunghi anni.
