Exodus 13

1 And the LORD spake unto Moses, saying,	1 Favellò ancora lo Signore a Moisè, dicendo:
2 Sanctify unto me all the firstborn, whatsoever openeth the womb among the children of Israel, both of man and of beast: it is mine.	2 Santifica a me lo primogenito che apre la vulva tra gli figliuoli d'Israel, così degli uomini come delle bestie; però che certamente mio è ogni cosa.
3 And Moses said unto the people, Remember this day, in which ye came out from Egypt, out of the house of bondage; for by strength of hand the LORD brought you out from this place: there shall no leavened bread be eaten.	3 E disse Moisè al popolo: ricordatevi di questo dì, nel quale partiti siete di Egitto e della casa della servitù; perciò che nella mano forte ca voe voi lo Signore di questo luogo; e non mangiate lo pane fermentato.
4 This day came ye out in the month Abib.	4 Oggi andate nel mese delle nuove biade.
5 And it shall be when the LORD shall bring thee into the land of the Canaanites, and the Hittites, and the Amorites, and the Hivites, and the Jebusites, which he sware unto thy fathers to give thee, a land flowing with milk and honey, that thou shalt keep this service in this month.	5 E quando lo Signore ti avrà menato nella terra de' Cananei ed Etei e Amorrei e Iebusei, la quale giurò a' padri nostri ch' egli darebbe a te, la terra abbondante di latte e di miele, osserverai questo costume delle cose sacre in questo mese.
6 Seven days thou shalt eat unleavened bread, and in the seventh day shall be a feast to the LORD.	6 Sette dì mangerai gli azimi, e nel dì settimo sarà la solennità del Signore.
7 Unleavened bread shall be eaten seven days; and there shall no leavened bread be seen with thee, neither shall there be leaven seen with thee in all thy quarters.	7 Voi mangerete l'azime sette dì; non apparrà appresso te alcuna cosa fernentata, nè in tutte le terre tue.
8 And thou shalt shew thy son in that day, saying, This is done because of that which the LORD did unto me when I came forth out of Egypt.	8 E narrerai e dirai al figliuolo tuo in quello dì: questo è quello che fece a me lo Signore, quando io mi partii d'Egitto.
9 And it shall be for a sign unto thee upon thine hand, and for a memorial between thine eyes, that the LORD's law may be in thy mouth: for with a strong hand hath the LORD brought thee out of Egypt.	9 E sarà quasi segno nella mano tua, e quasi ammonimento innanzi agli occhi tuoi; e siccome legge del Signore sempre nella bocca tua sia; ve ramente nella mano forte meno te lo Signore di Egitto.
10 Thou shalt therefore keep this ordinance in his season from year to year.	10 Guarderai con questo medesimo modo lo culto al tempo ordinato, dalli dì nelli dì.
11 And it shall be when the LORD shall bring thee into the land of the Canaanites, as he sware unto thee and to thy fathers, and shall give it thee,	11 E quando lui t'avrà menato nella terra de' Cananei, così come giurò a te e alli padri tuoi, e quando lui avrà dato lei a te,
12 That thou shalt set apart unto the LORD all that openeth the matrix, and every firstling that cometh of a beast which thou hast; the males shall be the LORD's.	12 spartirai ogni cosa, che apre la vulva, Signore, e quello ch' è primo nelle bestie tue; qua lunque avrai nella generazione maschia, consacrera’ lo al Signore.
13 And every firstling of an ass thou shalt redeem with a lamb; and if thou wilt not redeem it, then thou shalt break his neck: and all the firstborn of man among thy children shalt thou redeem.	13 Lo primogenito dell' asino muterai per la pecora; il quale tu, se non lo ricomprerai, uccidilo; ma ogni primogenito dell' uomo delli figliuoli tuoi con prezzo ricomprerai.
14 And it shall be when thy son asketh thee in time to come, saying, What is this? that thou shalt say unto him, By strength of hand the LORD brought us out from Egypt, from the house of bondage:	14 E quando domanderatti lo figliuolo tuo do mani, dicendo: che è questo? risponderai a lui: nella mano forte cavò noi lo Signore della terra d'Egitto, della casa della servitù.
15 And it came to pass, when Pharaoh would hardly let us go, that the LORD slew all the firstborn in the land of Egypt, both the firstborn of man, and the firstborn of beast: therefore I sacrifice to the LORD all that openeth the matrix, being males; but all the firstborn of my children I redeem.	15 Perciò che quando era indurato Faraone, e non voleva lasciare noi, uccise lo Signore tutti li primigeniti nella terra d'Egitto, dal primogenito dell' uomo insino al primogenito delle bestie. E perciò sacrifico allo Signore ogni cosa ch’apre la vulva della generazione mascolina; e tutti li pri migeniti de' figliuoli miei ricompero.
16 And it shall be for a token upon thine hand, and for frontlets between thine eyes: for by strength of hand the LORD brought us forth out of Egypt.	16 Sarà adunque quasi segnale nella mano tua, e quasi alcuno peso, per la ricordazione, intra gli occhi tuoi; imperciò che nella mano forte abbia tratto noi lo Signore della terra d'Egitto.
17 And it came to pass, when Pharaoh had let the people go, that God led them not through the way of the land of the Philistines, although that was near; for God said, Lest peradventure the people repent when they see war, and they return to Egypt:	17 Adunque, quando lasciò Faraone lo popolo, non gli menò loro lo Signore Iddio per la via della terra de' Filistei la quale v'era vicina, riputante che per avventura non si pentisse, se vedesse contra di sè le battaglie levarsi, e ritornasse in Egitto.
18 But God led the people about, through the way of the wilderness of the Red sea: and the children of Israel went up harnessed out of the land of Egypt.	18 Ma menogli per la via del deserto, la quale è appresso al mare rosso; e armati si partirono li figliuoli d'Israel della terra d'Egitto.
19 And Moses took the bones of Joseph with him: for he had straitly sworn the children of Israel, saying, God will surely visit you; and ye shall carry up my bones away hence with you.	19 E portonne certamente Moisè l'ossa di Iosef con esso seco; perciò ch' egli iscongiurò li figliuoli d'Israel, dicendo: visiterà voi Iddio, e portatevi di qui l'ossa mie con voi.
20 And they took their journey from Succoth, and encamped in Etham, in the edge of the wilderness.	20 E partitisi di Socot alloggiarono in Etam, nelli estremi fini della solitudine.
21 And the LORD went before them by day in a pillar of a cloud, to lead them the way; and by night in a pillar of fire, to give them light; to go by day and night:	21 E certo lo Signore andava innanzi loro a mostrare la via (per lo deserto), in colonna di nuvola per lo die, e per la notte in colonna di fuoco, acciò che fosse loro guida in ciascheduno tempo.
22 He took not away the pillar of the cloud by day, nor the pillar of fire by night, from before the people.	22 E non mai venne meno la colonna del nuvolo del dì; nè la colonna del fuoco la notte manco dinanzi al detto popolo (de' figliuoli d'Israel, siccome Iddio avea ordinato).
