Isaiah 61

DOUAI-RHEIMS	EL LIBRO DEL PUEBLO DE DIOS
1 The spirit of the Lord is upon me, because the Lord hath anointed me: he hath sent me to preach to the meek, to heal the contrite of heart, and to preach a release to the captives, and deliverance to them that are shut up.	1 El espíritu del Señor está sobre mí, porque el Señor me ha ungido. El me envió a llevar la buena noticia a los pobres, a vender los corazones heridos, a proclamar la liberación a los cautivos y la libertad a los prisioneros,
2 To proclaim the acceptable year of the Lord, and the day of vengeance of our God: to comfort all that mourn:	2 a proclamar un año de gracia del Señor, un día de venganza para nuestro Dios; a consolar a todos los que están de duelo
3 To appoint to the mourners of Sion, and to give them a crown for ashes, the oil of joy for mourning, a garment of praise for the spirit of grief: and they shall be called in it the mighty ones of justice, the planting of the Lord to glorify hint.	3 a cambiar su ceniza por una corona, su ropa de luto por el óleo de la alegría, y su abatimiento por un canto de alabanza. Ellos serán llamados «Encinas de justicia». «Plantación del Señor, para su gloria».
4 And they shall build the places that have been waste from of old, and shall raise up ancient ruins, and shall repair the desolate cities, that were destroyed for generation and generation.	4 Ellos reconstruirán las ruinas antiguas, restaurarán los escombros del pasado, renovarán las ciudades en ruinas, los escombros de muchas generaciones.
5 And strangers shall stand and shall feed your flocks: and the sons of strangers shall be your husbandmen, and the dressers of your vines.	5 Se presentarán extranjeros para apacentar sus rebaños, hijos de forasteros serán sus labradores y viñadores.
6 But you shall be called the priests of the Lord: to you it shall be said: Ye ministers of our God: you shall eat the riches of the Gentiles, and you shall pride yourselves in their glory.	6 Y ustedes serán llamados «Sacerdotes del Señor». se les dirá «Ministros de nuestro Dios». Se alimentarán con las riquezas de las naciones, se enorgullecerán con su magnificencia.
7 For your double confusion and shame, they shall praise their part: therefore shall they receive double in their land, everlasting joy shall be unto them.	7 Ya que su ignominia fue el doble de la cuenta y recibieron como parte vergüenza e insultos, ellos poseerán el doble en su tierra y gozarán de una alegría eterna.
8 For I am the Lord that love judgment, and hate robbery in a holocaust: and I will make their work in truth, and I will make a perpetual covenant with them.	8 Porque yo, el Señor, amo el derecho y odio lo que se arrebata injustamente; les retribuiré con fidelidad y estableceré en favor de ellos una alianza eterna.
9 And they shall know their seed among the Gentiles, and their offspring in the midst of peoples: all that shall see them, shall know them, that these are the seed which the Lord hath blessed.	9 Su descendencia será conocida entre las naciones, y sus vástagos, en medio de los pueblos: todos los que los vean, reconocerán que son la estirpe bendecida por el Señor.
10 I will greatly rejoice in the Lord, and my soul shall be joyful in my God: for he hath clothed me with the garments of salvation: and with the robe of justice he hath covered me, as a bridegroom decked with a crown, and as a bride adorned with her jewels.	10 Yo desbordo de alegría en el Señor, mi alma se regocija en mi Dios. Porque él me vistió con las vestiduras de la salvación y me envolvió con el manto de la justicia, como un esposo que se ajusta la diadema y como una esposa que se adorna con sus joyas.
11 For as the earth bringeth forth her bud, and as the garden causeth her seed to shoot forth: so shall the Lord God make justice to spring forth, and praise before all the nations.	11 Porque así como la tierra da sus brotes y un jardín hace germinar lo sembrado, así el Señor hará germinar la justicia y la alabanza ante todas las naciones.
