1 How beautiful art thou, my love, how beautiful art thou! thy eyes are doves' eyes, besides what is hid within. Thy hair is as flocks of goats, which Come up from mount Galaad.	1 Quanto sei bella, o mia amica, quanto sei bella! I tuoi occhi son di colomba, senza quello che di dentro si nasconde, i tuoi capelli son come greggi di capre salite sul monte di Galaad.
2 Thy teeth as flocks of sheep, that are shorn which come up from the washing, all with twins, and there is none barren among them.	2 I tuoi denti son come gregge di pecorelle tosate che tornan dal lavarsi: tutte hanno gemelli, e non ve n'è una infeconda.
3 Thy lips are as a scarlet lace: and thy speech sweet. Thy cheeks are as a piece of a pomegranate, besides that which lieth hid within.	3 Come nastro di scarlatto sono lo tue labbra, e il tuo parlare è soave. Come spicchio di melagrana son le tue guance, senza quello che di dentro si nasconde.
4 Thy neck, is as the tower of David, which is built with bulwarks: a thousand bucklers hang upon it, all the armour of valiant men.	4 Il tuo collo è come la torre di David costruita coi suoi baluardi: mille scudi vi sono appesi, tutte le armature dei prodi.
5 Thy two breasts like two young roes that are twins, which feed among the lilies.	5 Le tue mammelle sono come due caprioletti gemelli pascolanti tra i gigli.

10 How beautiful are thy breasts, my sister, my spouse! thy breasts are more beautiful than wine, and the sweet smell of thy ointments above all aromatical spices.	10 Come è bello il tuo amore, o sorella mia sposa! I tuoi amori son più soavi del vino, e il profumo dei tuoi unguenti supera tutti i profumi.
11 Thy lips, my spouse, are as a dropping honeycomb, honey and milk are under thy tongue; and the smell of thy garments, as the smell of frankincense.	11 Miele stillano le tue labbra, o sposa, miele e latte hai sotto la lingua, e il profumo delle tue vesti è come il profumo dell'incenso.
