1 A psalm for David. The Lord ruleth me: and I shall want nothing.	1 - [Da cantarsi] nel primo dì della settimana. Salmo di David. Del Signore è la terra e ciò che la riempie, il mondo e tutti i suoi abitanti.
2 He hath set me in a place of pasture. He hath brought me up, on the water of refreshment:	2 Perchè lui sui mari l'ha fondata e sopra i fiumi l'ha stabilita.
3 he hath converted my soul. He hath led me on the paths of justice, for his own name's sake.	3 Chi salirà mai al monte del Signore? chi si fermerà nel luogo suo santo?
4 For though I should walk in the midst of the shadow of death, I will fear no evils, for thou art with me. Thy rod and thy staff, they have comforted me.	4 L'innocente di mani e puro di cuore, che non abbandona a vanità l'anima sua, nè giura con frode al suo prossimo.
5 Thou hast prepared a table before me against them that afflict me. Thou hast anointed my head with oil; and my chalice which inebriateth me, how goodly is it!	5 E' riceverà benedizione dal Signore e grazia da Dio suo salvatore.
6 And thy mercy will follow me all the days of my life. And that I may dwell in the house of the Lord unto length of days.	6 Quest'è la progenie di quei che lo cercano, di quei che cercan la faccia del Dio di Giacobbe.
	7 Alzate, o principi, le vostre porte, inalzatevi, o porte eterne, sì che entri il re della gloria.
	8 Chi è questo re della gloria? Il Signore forte e potente, il Signore potente in battaglia.
	9 Alzate, o principi, le vostre porte, inalzatevi, o porte eterne, sì che entri il re della gloria.
	10 Chi è il re della gloria? Il Signore delle schiere, è desso il re della gloria!
