1 The sons of Juda: Phares, Hesron, and Charmi, and Hur, and Sobal.	1 Hijos de Judá: Peres, Jesrón, Karmí, Jur y Sobal.
2 And Raia the son of Sobal beget Jahath, of whom were born Ahumai, and Laad. These are the families of Sarathi.	2 Reaías, hijo de Sobal, engendró a Yájat. Yájat engendró a Ajumay y Lahad. Estas son familias de los soreatitas.
3 And this is the posterity of Etam: Jezrahel, and Jesema, and Jedebos: and the name of their sister was Asalelphuni.	3 Estos son los hijos de Jur, padre de Etam: Yizreel, Yismá y Yibdás. Su hermana se llamaba Haslelponí.
4 And Phanuel the father of Gedor, and Ezar the father of Hosa, these are the sons of Hur the firstborn of Ephratha the father of Bethlehem.	4 Penuel fue el padre de Guedor, y Ezer padre de Jusá. Estos son los hijos de Jur, primogénito de Efratá, padre de Belén.

Y otorgóle Dios su petición.

12 And Esthon beget Bethrapha, and Phesse, and Tehinna father of the city of Naas: these are the men of Recha.	12 Estón engendró a Bet Rafá, Paséaj y Tejinná, padre de Ir Najás. Estos son los hombres de Rekal.
13 And the sons of Cenez were Othoniel,. and Saraia. And the sons of Othoniel, Hathath, and Maonathi.	13 Hijos de Quenaz: Otniel y Seraías. Hijos de Otniel: Jatat y Meonotay.
14 Maonathi beget Ophra, and Saraia begot Joab the father of the Valley of artificers: for artificers were there.	14 Meonotay engendró a Ofrá, y Seraías engendró a Joab, padre de Gue Jarasim, pues eran artesanos.
15 And the sons of Caleb the son of Jephone, were Hir, and Ela, and Naham. And the sons of Ela: Cenez.	15 Hijos de Caleb, hijo de Yefunné: Ir, Elá y Náam; hijo de Elá: Quenaz.

27 The sons of Semei were sixteen, and six daughters: but his brethren had not many sons, and the whole kindred could not reach to the sum of the children of Juda.	27 Simí tuvo dieciséis hijos y seis hijas, pero sus hermanos no tuvieron muchos hijos, no se multiplicaron todas sus familias como los hijos de Judá.
28 And they dwelt in Bersabee, and Molada, and Hasarsuhal,	28 Habitaban en Berseba, Moladá, Jasar-Sual,
29 And in Bala, and in Asom, and in Tholad,	29 Bilhá, Esem y Tolad,
30 And in Bathuel, and in Horma, and in Siceleg,	30 Betuel, Jormá, Siquelag,
31 And in Bethmarchaboth, and in Hasarsusim, and in Bethberai, and in Saarim. These were their cities unto the reign of David.	31 Bet Markabot, Jasar Susim, Bet Birí y Saaráyim. Estas fueron sus ciudades hasta el reino de David.
32 Their towns also were Etam, and Aen, Remmon, and Thochen, and Asan, five cities.	32 También sus aldeas: Etam, Ayim, Rimmón, Tokén y Asán, cinco ciudades,
33 And all their villages round about these cities as far as Baal. This was their habitation, and the distribution of their dwellings.	33 y todas sus aldeas que están en torno a aquellas ciudades, hasta Baalat. Aquí habitaron y éste fue su registro genealógico.
34 And Mosabab and Jemlech, and Josa, the son of Amasias,	34 Mesobab, Yamlek, Yosá, hijo de Amasías,
35 And Joel, and Jehu the son of Josabia the son of Saraia, the son of Asiel,	35 Joel, Jehú, hijo de Yosibías, hijo de Seraías, hijo de Asiel;
36 And Elioenai, and Jacoba, and Isuhaia, and Asaia, and Adiel, and Ismiel, and Banaia,	36 Elyoenay, Yaacobá, Yesojaías, Asaías, Adiel, Yesimiel y Benaías,
37 Ziza also the son of Sephei the son of Allon the son of Idaia the son of Semri the son of Samaia.	37 Zizá, hijo de Sifí, hijo de Allón, hijo de Yedaías, hijo de Simrí, hijo de Semaías.
38 These were named princes in their kindreds, and in the houses of their families were multiplied exceedingly.	38 Estos que han sido citados por sus nombres, fueron jefes en sus familias y sus casas paternas y se multiplicaron grandemente.
39 And they went forth to enter into Gador as far as to the east side of the valley, to seek pastures for their flocks.	39 Se dirigieron a la entrada de Guerar, hasta el oriente del valle, buscando pastos para sus ganados.
40 And they found fat pastures, and very good, and a country spacious, and quiet, and fruitful, in which some of the race of Cham had dwelt before.	40 Y hallaron pastos pingües y buenos y una tierra espaciosa, tranquila y segura, pues antes habían morado allí los descendientes de Cam.
41 And these whose names are written above, came in the days of Ezechias king of Juda: and they beat down their tents, and slew the inhabitants that were found there, and utterly destroyed them unto this day: and they dwelt in their place, because they found there fat pastures.	41 Estos que se han citado por sus nombres vinieron en tiempos de Ezequías, rey de Judá, y destruyeron las tiendas de aquéllos, y los refugios que allí se encontraban, entregándolos al anatema hasta el día de hoy; y habitaron en lugar de ellos, ya que había allí pastos para sus ganados.
42 Some also of the children of Simeon, five hundred men, went into mount Seir, having for their captains Phaltias and Naaria and Raphaia and Oziel the sons of Jesi:	42 Algunos de los hijos de Simeón, en número de quinientos hombres, se fueron a la montaña de Seír; sus jefes eran Pelatías, Nearías, Refaías, Uzziel, hijos de Yisí:
43 And they slew the remnant of the Amalecites, who had been able to escape, and they dwelt there in their stead unto this day.	43 derrotaron a los restos de Amalec, que habían escapado, y habitaron allí hasta el día de hoy.
