1 ALLELUIA. Lodate il Signore dal cielo; Lodatelo ne’ luoghi altissimi.	1 Alleluia. Praise the Lord from the heavens. Praise him on the heights.
2 Lodatelo voi, suoi Angeli tutti. Lodatelo voi, suoi eserciti.	2 Praise him, all his Angels. Praise him, all his hosts.
3 Lodatelo, sole e luna; Lodatelo voi, stelle lucenti tutte.	3 Praise him, sun and moon. Praise him, all stars and light.
4 Lodatelo voi, cieli de’ cieli; E voi, acque che siete di sopra al cielo.	4 Praise him, heavens of the heavens. And let all the waters that are above the heavens
5 Tutte queste cose lodino il nome del Signore; Perciocchè al suo comandamento furono create.	5 praise the name of the Lord. For he spoke, and they became. He commanded, and they were created.
6 Ed egli le ha stabilite per sempre ed in perpetuo; Egli ne ha fatto uno statuto, il qual non trapasserà giammai	6 He has stationed them in eternity, and for age after age. He has established a precept, and it will not pass away.
7 Lodate il Signore della terra. Balene, ed abissi tutti;	7 Praise the Lord from the earth: you dragons and all deep places,
8 Fuoco, e gragnuola; neve, e vapore, E vento tempestoso ch’eseguisce la sua parola;	8 fire, hail, snow, ice, windstorms, which do his word,
9 Monti, e colli tutti; Alberi fruttiferi, e cedri tutti;	9 mountains and all hills, fruitful trees and all cedars,
10 Fiere, e bestie domestiche tutte; Rettili, ed uccelli alati;	10 wild beasts and all cattle, serpents and feathered flying things,
11 Re della terra, e popoli tutti; Principi, e rettori della terra tutti;	11 kings of the earth and all peoples, leaders and all judges of the earth,
12 Giovani, ed anche vergini; Vecchi, e fanciulli;	12 young men and virgins. Let the older men with the younger men, praise the name of the Lord.
13 Lodino il Nome del Signore; Perciocchè il Nome di lui solo è innalzato; La sua maestà è sopra la terra, e sopra il cielo.	13 For his name alone is exalted.
14 Ed ha alzato un corno al suo popolo, Il che è materia di lode a tutti i suoi santi: A’ figliuoli d’Israele, suo popolo prossimo. Alleluia	14 Confession of him is beyond heaven and earth, and he has exalted the horn of his people. A hymn to all his holy ones, to the sons of Israel, to a people close to him. Alleluia.
