Isaías 61

EL LIBRO DEL PUEBLO DE DIOS	NEW JERUSALEM
1 El espíritu del Señor está sobre mí, porque el Señor me ha ungido. El me envió a llevar la buena noticia a los pobres, a vender los corazones heridos, a proclamar la liberación a los cautivos y la libertad a los prisioneros,	1 The spirit of Lord Yahweh is on me for Yahweh has anointed me. He has sent me to bring the news tothe afflicted, to soothe the broken-hearted,
2 a proclamar un año de gracia del Señor, un día de venganza para nuestro Dios; a consolar a todos los que están de duelo	2 to proclaim liberty to captives, release to those in prison, to proclaim a year of favour from Yahweh anda day of vengeance for our God, to comfort all who mourn
3 a cambiar su ceniza por una corona, su ropa de luto por el óleo de la alegría, y su abatimiento por un canto de alabanza. Ellos serán llamados «Encinas de justicia». «Plantación del Señor, para su gloria».	3 (to give to Zion's mourners), to give them for ashes a garland, for mourning-dress, the oil of gladness,for despondency, festal attire; and they wil be cal ed 'terebinths of saving justice', planted by Yahweh to glorifyhim.
4 Ellos reconstruirán las ruinas antiguas, restaurarán los escombros del pasado, renovarán las ciudades en ruinas, los escombros de muchas generaciones.	4 They wil rebuild the ancient ruins, they wil raise what has long lain waste, they wil restore the ruinedcities, al that has lain waste for ages past.
5 Se presentarán extranjeros para apacentar sus rebaños, hijos de forasteros serán sus labradores y viñadores.	5 Strangers wil come forward to feed your flocks, foreigners be your ploughmen and vinedressers;
6 Y ustedes serán llamados «Sacerdotes del Señor». se les dirá «Ministros de nuestro Dios». Se alimentarán con las riquezas de las naciones, se enorgullecerán con su magnificencia.	6 but you will be cal ed 'priests of Yahweh' and be addressed as 'ministers of our God'. You will feed onthe wealth of nations, you wil supplant them in their glory.
7 Ya que su ignominia fue el doble de la cuenta y recibieron como parte vergüenza e insultos, ellos poseerán el doble en su tierra y gozarán de una alegría eterna.	7 To make up for your shame, you wil receive double; instead of disgrace, shouts of joy wil be their lot;yes, they wil have a double portion in their country and everlasting joy wil be theirs.
8 Porque yo, el Señor, amo el derecho y odio lo que se arrebata injustamente; les retribuiré con fidelidad y estableceré en favor de ellos una alianza eterna.	8 For I am Yahweh: I love fair judgement, I hate robbery and wrong-doing, and I shal reward themfaithful y and make an everlasting covenant with them.
9 Su descendencia será conocida entre las naciones, y sus vástagos, en medio de los pueblos: todos los que los vean, reconocerán que son la estirpe bendecida por el Señor.	9 Their race wil be famous throughout the nations and their offspring throughout the peoples. All whosee them wil admit that they are a race whom Yahweh has blessed.
10 Yo desbordo de alegría en el Señor, mi alma se regocija en mi Dios. Porque él me vistió con las vestiduras de la salvación y me envolvió con el manto de la justicia, como un esposo que se ajusta la diadema y como una esposa que se adorna con sus joyas.	10 I exult for joy in Yahweh, my soul rejoices in my God, for he has clothed me in garments of salvation,he has wrapped me in a cloak of saving justice, like a bridegroom wearing his garland, like a bride adorned inher jewels.
11 Porque así como la tierra da sus brotes y un jardín hace germinar lo sembrado, así el Señor hará germinar la justicia y la alabanza ante todas las naciones.	11 For as the earth sends up its shoots and a garden makes seeds sprout, so Lord Yahweh makessaving justice and praise spring up in the sight of al nations.
