1 El Señor dijo a Moisés: «Voy a enviar contra el Faraón y contra Egipto una sola calamidad más, y después él los dejará partir de aquí. Más aún, cuando los haga partir, los echará de aquí definitivamente.	1 And the Lord said to Moses: “I will touch Pharaoh and Egypt with one more plague, and after these things he will release you, and he will compel you to go out.
2 Mientras tanto, ordena al pueblo que cada hombre pida a su vecino, y cada mujer a su vecina, objetos de plata y oro».	2 Therefore, you will tell all the people to ask, a man of his friend, and a woman of her neighbor, for vessels of silver and of gold.
3 El Señor, por su parte, hizo que el pueblo se ganara el favor de los egipcios, y el mismo Moisés llegó a gozar de gran prestigio en Egipto, tanto entre los servidores del Faraón como entre el pueblo.	3 Then the Lord will grant favor to his people in the sight of the Egyptians.” And Moses was a very great man in the land of Egypt, in the sight of the servants of Pharaoh and of all the people.
4 Moisés dijo: «Así habla el Señor: «Hacia la medianoche, yo saldré a recorrer Egipto,	4 And he said: “Thus says the Lord: ‘In the middle of the night I will enter into Egypt.
5 y morirán todos tus hijos primogénitos, desde el primogénito del Faraón, el que debe sucederle en el trono, hasta el primogénito de la esclava que maneja la máquina de moler, y todos los primogénitos del ganado.	5 And every firstborn in the land of the Egyptians shall die, from the firstborn of Pharaoh, who sits on his throne, even to the firstborn of the handmaid, who is at the millstone, and all the firstborn of the beasts of burden.
6 Entonces resonará en todo Egipto un alarido inmenso, como nunca lo hubo ni lo habrá jamás.	6 And there will be a great outcry throughout the entire land of Egypt, such as has not been before, nor ever will be afterward.
7 Pero contra los israelitas –ya sean hombres o animales– ni siquiera ladrará un perro, para que ustedes sepan que el Señor hace una distinción entre Israel y Egipto».	7 But among all the sons of Israel there shall not be even a mutter from a dog, from man, even to cattle, so that you may know how miraculously the Lord divides the Egyptians from Israel.’
8 Luego vendrán todos tus servidores a inclinarse ante mí, y me dirán: «¡Váyanse, tú y el pueblo que está bajo tus órdenes!». Después me iré». Y lleno de indignación, Moisés se alejó de la presencia del Faraón.	8 And all these, your servants, shall descend to me and shall reverence me, by saying: ‘Depart, you and all the people who are subject to you.’ After these things, we will depart.”
9 Luego el Señor dijo a Moisés: «El Faraón no los escuchará, para que se multipliquen mis prodigios en el país de Egipto.	9 And he went out from Pharaoh exceedingly angry. Then the Lord said to Moses: “Pharaoh will not listen to you, so that many signs may be accomplished in the land of Egypt.”
10 Moisés y Aarón realizaron todos estos prodigios delante del Faraón; pero el Señor le había endurecido el corazón, y él no dejó partir de su país a los israelitas.	10 Now Moses and Aaron did all the wonders that are written, in the sight of Pharaoh. And the Lord hardened the heart of Pharaoh; neither did he release the sons of Israel from his land.
