BIBBIA VOLGARE	CATHOLIC PUBLIC DOMAIN
1 Esaudisci, Signore, la giustizia mia; e intendi il mio priego. Considera con l'orecchie tue la mia orazione, e non nelli labbri d' inganno.	1 A Prayer of David. Lord, listen to my justice, attend to my supplication. Pay attention to my prayer, which is not from deceitful lips.
2 Del volto tuo esca il mio giudicio; gli occhi tuoi veggano la equità.	2 Let my judgment proceed from your presence. Let your eyes behold fairness.
3 Tu provasti il cuore mio, e visitastilo di notte; tu m' hai provato al fuoco, e non hai trovato in me iniquità.	3 You have tested my heart and visited it by night. You have examined me by fire, and iniquity has not been found in me.
4 Acciò che non parli la bocca mia le opere degli uomini; per le parole della tua bocca io hoe guardate vie faticose.	4 Therefore, may my mouth not speak the works of men. I have kept to difficult ways because of the words of your lips.
5 Fa perfetti li miei andamenti nelle tue vie strette, acciò che non si muovino li segni della mia via.	5 Perfect my steps in your paths, so that my footsteps may not be disturbed.
6 Io hoe gridato, però che tu m' hai esaudito, Iddio; china a me l'orecchie tue, ed esaudi le mie parole.	6 I have cried out because you, O God, have listened to me. Incline your ear to me and heed my words.
7 Fa maravigliose le tue misericordie, tu che fai salvi coloro che sperano in te.	7 Make your mercies wonderful, for you save those who hope in you.
8 Da coloro, che fanno resistenza alla destra tua, guarda me, come la pupilla dell' occhio. Sotto l'ombra dell' ale tue difendimi	8 From those who resist your right hand, preserve me like the pupil of your eye. Protect me under the shadow of your wings,
9 dalla faccia degli empii che m' hanno afflitto. Li nemici miei hanno attorniata l'anima mia.	9 from the face of the impious who have afflicted me. My enemies have surrounded my soul.
10 S' hanno chiusi (e saziati) nella grassezza (e letizia del suo desiderio); la bocca loro hae parlato superbia.	10 They have concealed their fatness; their mouth has been speaking arrogantly.
11 Cacciandomi fuori, m' hanno intorniato; deliberarono di chinare gli occhi suoi a terra.	11 They have cast me out, and now they have surrounded me. They have cast their eyes down to the earth.
12 Loro mi pigliorono, come leone apparecchiato alla preda, e sì come lo leoncino che abita nelli luoghi ascosti.	12 They have taken me, like a lion ready for the prey, and like a young lion dwelling in hiding.
13 Signore, lèvati, e vieni più tosto di lui, e mettilo sotto i tuoi piedi; libera l'anima mia dal malvagio, l'anima tua	13 Rise up, O Lord, arrive before him and displace him. Deliver my soul from the impious one: your spear from the enemies of your hand.
14 dalli nemici della mano tua. Signore, dividili della terra, dove è poca gente, nella loro vita; e il loro ventre è adempiuto delle cose ascose da te (che non ti piace). Sonosi saziati delle loro male opere, e lasciarono le loro reliquie (male) alli suoi fanciulli.	14 Lord, divide them from the few of the earth in their life. Their gut has been filled from your hidden stores. They have been filled with sons, and they have bequeathed to their little ones the remainder.
15 Ma io apparirò con giustizia nel cospetto tuo; e sazierommi, quando apparirà la gloria tua.	15 But as for me, I will appear before your sight in justice. I will be satisfied when your glory appears.
