1 O tu, Ierusalem, loda il Signore; o Sion, loda il Dio tuo.	1 Alleluia. Praise the Lord, O Jerusalem. Praise your God, O Zion.
2 Per che ha confortato le serrature delle porte tue; ha benedetto in te li figliuoli tuoi.	2 For he has reinforced the bars of your gates. He has blessed your sons within you.
3 Egli ha posto la pace nelle tue terre; e con la medulla del frumento ha saziato te.	3 He has stationed peace at your borders, and he has satisfied you with the fat of the grain.
4 Egli ha mandato il parlare suo alla terra; velocemente corre il parlare suo.	4 He sends forth his eloquence to the earth. His word runs swiftly.
5 Egli dà la neve come lana; sparge la nebula come cenere.	5 He provides snow like wool. He strews clouds like ashes.
6 Manda il suo cristallo come fette del pane; chi sostegnerà inanzi alla faccia del freddo suo?	6 He sends his ice crystals like morsels. Who can stand firm before the face of his cold?
7 Mandarà la parola sua, e dissolverà quelle; starà il spirito suo, e correranno le acque.	7 He will send forth his word, and it will melt them. His Spirit will breathe out, and the waters will flow.
8 Egli annunzia la parola sua a Iacob; a Israel le giustizie e' giudicii suoi.	8 He announces his word to Jacob, his justices and his judgments to Israel.
9 A tal modo non ha fatto a ogni nazione; e a loro non ha manifestato li giudicii suoi.	9 He has not done so much for every nation, and he has not made his judgments manifest to them. Alleluia.
