LA SACRA BIBBIA	KING JAMES BIBLE
1 Di Davide. Ti rendo grazie, Signore, con tutto il cuore, davanti agli dèi a te inneggerò.	1 I will praise thee with my whole heart: before the gods will I sing praise unto thee.
2 Voglio prostrarmi verso il tuo santo tempio e render grazie al tuo nome, per la tua misericordia e la tua fedeltà, poiché hai magnificato la tua parola al di sopra di ogni altro nome.	2 I will worship toward thy holy temple, and praise thy name for thy lovingkindness and for thy truth: for thou hast magnified thy word above all thy name.
3 Quando ti ho invocato, mi hai risposto; hai accresciuto il vigore nell'anima mia.	3 In the day when I cried thou answeredst me, and strengthenedst me with strength in my soul.
4 Ti celebrino, Signore, tutti i re della terra, quando avranno udito le parole della tua bocca;	4 All the kings of the earth shall praise thee, O LORD, when they hear the words of thy mouth.
5 cantino le vie del Signore, poiché grande è la gloria del Signore.	5 Yea, they shall sing in the ways of the LORD: for great is the glory of the LORD.
6 Sì, eccelso è il Signore, ma guarda verso l'umile, mentre da lontano considera il superbo.	6 Though the LORD be high, yet hath he respect unto the lowly: but the proud he knoweth afar off.
7 Se io cammino in mezzo alla sventura, tu mi dài vita contro l'ira dei nemici; tu stendi la mano: la tua destra mi trae in salvo.	7 Though I walk in the midst of trouble, thou wilt revive me: thou shalt stretch forth thine hand against the wrath of mine enemies, and thy right hand shall save me.
8 Il Signore compirà per me la sua opera. Signore, la tua misericordia dura in eterno; non abbandonare l'opera delle tue mani!	8 The LORD will perfect that which concerneth me: thy mercy, O LORD, endureth for ever: forsake not the works of thine own hands.
