Exodus 40

1 Yahweh then spoke to Moses and said,	1 E favello lo Signore a Moisè, dicendo:
2 'On the first day of the first month, you wil erect the Dwel ing, the Tent of Meeting,	2 Nel mese primo, lo primo dì del mese, dirizzerai lo tabernacolo della testimonianza.
3 and place the ark of the Testimony in it and screen the ark with the curtain.	3 E porrai in quello l'arca, e lascerai dinanzi a lei lo velo.
4 You will then bring in the table and arrange what has to be arranged on it. You wil then bring in thelamp-stand and set up its lamps.	4 E portata la mensa, porrai sopra lei quelle cose che ordinatamente sono comandate. Lo candeliere istarà colle lucerne sue,
5 You will place the golden altar of incense in front of the ark of the Testimony, and place the screen atthe entrance to the Dwel ing.	5 e l'altare dell' oro, dove si arderà l'incenso, dinanzi all'arca della testimonianza. E lo tentorio dinanzi al tabernacolo, cioè all'entrata, porrai;
6 You will place the altar of burnt offerings in front of the entrance to the Dwel ing, the Tent of Meeting,	6 e innanzi a quello l'altare del sacrificio;
7 and you wil place the basin between the Tent of Meeting and the altar, and fil it with water.	7 e lo vaso grande fra l'altare e il tabernacolo, il quale empierai d'acqua.
8 You will then set up the surrounding court and hang the screen at the gateway of the court.	8 E intornierai l'atrio colli tentorii e l'entrata sua.
9 Then, taking the anointing oil, you will anoint the Dwelling and everything inside, consecrating it and alits accessories; it wil then be holy.	9 E tolto l'olio dell' unzione, ugnerai lo tabernacolo colli vaselli suoi, acciò che sia santificato.
10 You wil then anoint the altar of burnt offerings and all its accessories, consecrating the altar; the altarwil then be especial y holy.	10 L'altare del sacrificio, e tutti i vaselli suoi,
11 You wil then anoint the basin and its stand, and consecrate it.	11 lo vaso grande (dell' acqua) colle basi sue e ogni cosa consacrerai con olio dell' unzione, acciò che siano santi de' santi.
12 You wil then bring Aaron and his sons to the entrance of the Tent of Meeting, bathe them thoroughly	12 E porrai Aaron e li figliuoli suoi alli usci del tabernacolo della testimonianza; e lavati d'acqua
13 and then dress Aaron in the sacred vestments, and anoint and consecrate him, to serve me in thepriesthood.	13 vestirai loro delle vestimenta della santificazione, acciò che servano a me, e l'unzione loro nello sacerdozio faccia pro' sempremai.
14 You wil then bring his sons, dress them in tunics	14 E fece Moisè ogni cosa che a lui comando lo Signore.
15 and anoint them as you anointed their father, to serve me in the priesthood. Their anointing willconfer an everlasting priesthood on them for al their generations to come.'	15 Adunque lo primo mese dell' anno secondo, nel primo dì del mese, collocato è lo tabernacolo.
16 Moses did this; he did exactly as Yahweh had ordered him.	16 E dirizzò quello Moisè; e pose le tavole e le basi e li chiavistelli; e pose le colonne;
17 On the first day of the first month in the second year the Dwel ing was erected.	17 e spandè lo tetto sopra lo tabernacolo, postovi sopra lo coprimento, siccome lo Signore avea comandato.
18 Moses erected the Dwel ing. He fixed its sockets, set up its frames, put its crossbars in position andset up its poles.	18 E pose lo testimonio nell'arca, infra li sottoposti chiavistelli, e l'oratorio di sopra.
19 He spread the tent over the Dwel ing and the covering for the tent over that, as Yahweh had orderedMoses.	19 E conciosia cosa ch' elli mettesse dentro l'arca (della testimonianza) nel tabernacolo, pose dinanzi a lei il velo, acciò che compiesse lo comandamento del Signore.
20 He took the Testimony and put it in the ark, positioned the shafts on the ark and put the mercy-seaton top of the ark.	20 E pose la mensa nel tabernacolo della testimonianza dalla parte settentrionale, di fuori del velo,
21 He brought the ark into the Dwel ing and put the screening curtain in place, screening the ark of theTestimony, as Yahweh had ordered Moses.	21 ordinati li pani della proposizione, che di nanzi avea comandato il Signore a Moisè.
22 He put the table inside the Tent of Meeting, against the side of the Dwel ing, on the north, outside thecurtain,	22 E pose lo candeliere nel tabernacolo della testimonianza dalla regione della mensa, dalla parte australe.
23 and on it arranged the loaves before Yahweh, as Yahweh had ordered Moses.	23 E allogoe per ordine le lucerne, secondo il comandamento del Signore.
24 He put the lamp-stand inside the Tent of Meeting, opposite the table, on the south side of theDwelling,	24 E pose l'altare dell' oro sotto il tetto della testimonianza contra al velo;
25 and set up the lamps before Yahweh, as Yahweh had ordered Moses.	25 e arse sopra quello l'incenso delle aromate, siccome avea comandato lo Signore a Moisè.
26 He put the golden altar inside the Tent of Meeting, in front of the curtain,	26 E pose lo tentorio nell'entrata del tabernacolo,
27 and on it burnt fragrant incense, as Yahweh had ordered Moses.	27 e l'altare del sacrificio nel vestibolo del testimonio, offerente in quello, sacrificio e sacrificii, siccome lo Signore avea comandato.
28 He then put the screen at the entrance to the Dwel ing.	28 E lo vaso grande pose infra il tabernacolo del testimonio e l'altare; ed empiette quello d'acqua.
29 He put the altar of burnt offerings at the entrance to the Dwel ing, to the Tent of Meeting, and on itoffered the burnt offering and cereal offering, as Yahweh had ordered Moses.	29 E lavaronsi Moisè e Aaron e li figliuoli suoi le mani loro e li piedi loro,
30 He put the basin between the Tent of Meeting and the altar and put water in it for the ablutions,	30 quando andavano dentro al tetto del patto, quando andassero all'altare, siccome avea comandato lo Signore a Moisè.
31 where Moses, Aaron and his sons washed their hands and feet,	31 E dirizzoe l'atrio intorno del tabernacolo e dell' altare, posto il tentorio nella entrata sua. Poscia che tutte le cose sono bene fatte,
32 whenever they entered the Tent of Meeting or approached the altar they washed, as Yahweh hadordered Moses.	32 coprì la nuvola lo tabernacolo della testimonianza, e la gloria del Signore empiè quello.
33 He then set up the court round the Dwel ing and the altar and set up the screen at the gate-way tothe court. Thus Moses completed the work.	33 Nè non potea Moisè entrare dentro al tetto del patto, la nuvola coprente ogni cosa, e la maestade del Signore risplendente, perciò che la nuvola ogni cosa avea coperta.
34 The cloud then covered the Tent of Meeting and the glory of Yahweh fil ed the Dwel ing.	34 Ma quando la nuvola lasciava il tabernacolo, andavano li figliuoli d'Israel per le torme loro.
35 Moses could not enter the Tent of Meeting, since the cloud stayed over it and the glory of Yahwehfilled the Dwelling.	35 Ma s'ella vi stava di sopra, stavano in quello medesimo luogo.
36 At every stage of their journey, whenever the cloud rose from the Dwel ing, the Israelites wouldresume their march.	36 E certo la nuvola del Signore istava sopra lo tabernacolo nel dì, e lo fuoco di notte, veggendolo tutto lo popolo d'Israel per tutte le mansioni loro.
37 If the cloud did not rise, they would not resume their march until the day it did rise.
38 For Yahweh's cloud stayed over the Dwel ing during the daytime and there was fire inside the cloudat night, for the whole House of Israel to see, at every stage of their journey.
