1 The Israelites listed according to heads of families, commanders of thousands and hundreds, withtheir officials in the king's service who dealt with al matters affecting the companies on monthly duty, month bymonth throughout the year, each company consisting of twenty-four thousand men:	1 Вот сыны Израилевы по числу их, главы семейств, тысяченачальники и стоначальники и управители, которые по отделениям служили царю во всех делах, приходя и отходя каждый месяц, во все месяцы года. В каждом отделении было их по двадцать четыре тысячи.
2 The commander of the first company detailed for the first month was Jashobeam son of Zabdiel,whose company consisted of twenty-four thousand men.	2 Над первым отделением, для первого месяца, [начальствовал] Иашовам, сын Завдиила; в его отделении было двадцать четыре тысячи;
3 He belonged to the family of Perez and was the senior military officer of al those detailed for the firstmonth.	3 он [был] из сынов Фареса, главный над всеми военачальниками в первый месяц.
4 The commander of the company for the second month was Dodai the Ahohite, whose companyconsisted of twenty-four thousand men.	4 Над отделением второго месяца был Додай Ахохиянин; в отделении его был и князь Миклоф, и в его отделении было двадцать четыре тысячи.
5 The officer commanding the third body of men for the third month was Benaiah son of Jehoiada, thechief priest, whose company consisted of twenty-four thousand men.	5 Третий главный военачальник, для третьего месяца, Ванея, сын Иодая, священника, и в его отделении было двадцать четыре тысячи:
6 This was the Benaiah who was an important member of the Thirty and his company. His son wasAmmizabad.	6 этот Ванея--[один] из тридцати храбрых и [начальник] над ними, и в его отделе [находился] Аммизавад, сын его.
7 The fourth for the fourth month was Asahel brother of Joab, and his son Zebadiah after him, whosecompany consisted of twenty-four thousand men.	7 Четвертый, для четвертого месяца, был Асаил, брат Иоава, и по нем Завадия, сын его, и в его отделении двадцать четыре тысячи.
8 The fifth officer commanding for the fifth month was Shamhuth the Zerahite, whose companyconsisted of twenty-four thousand men.	8 Пятый, для пятого месяца, князь Шамгуф Израхитянин, и в его отделении двадцать четыре тысячи.
9 The sixth for the sixth month was Ira son of Ikkesh of Tekoa, whose company consisted of twenty-fourthousand men.	9 Шестой, для шестого месяца, Ира, сын Иккеша, Фекоянин, и в его отделении двадцать четыре тысячи.
10 The seventh for the seventh month was Helez the Pelonite, one of the Ephraimites, whose companyconsisted of twenty-four thousand men.	10 Седьмой, для седьмого месяца, Хелец Пелонитянин, из сынов Ефремовых, и в его отделении двадцать четыре тысячи.
11 The eighth for the eighth month was Sibbecai of Hushah, a Zerahite, whose company consisted oftwenty-four thousand men.	11 Восьмой, для восьмого месяца, Совохай Хушатянин, из племени Зары, и в его отделении двадцать четыре тысячи.
12 The ninth for the ninth month was Abiezer of Anathoth, a Benjaminite, whose company consisted oftwenty-four thousand men.	12 Девятый, для девятого месяца, Авиезер Анафофянин, из сыновей Вениаминовых, и в его отделении двадцать четыре тысячи.
13 The tenth for the tenth month was Maharai of Netophah, a Zerahite, whose company consisted oftwenty-four thousand men.	13 Десятый, для десятого месяца, Магарай Нетофафянин, из племени Зары, и в его отделении двадцать четыре тысячи.
14 The eleventh for the eleventh month was Benaiah of Pirathon, an Ephraimite, whose companyconsisted of twenty-four thousand men.	14 Одиннадцатый, для одиннадцатого месяца, Ванея Пирафонянин, из сынов Ефремовых, и в его отделении двадцать четыре тысячи.
15 The twelfth for the twelfth month was Heldai of Netophah, of Othniel, whose company consisted oftwenty-four thousand men.	15 Двенадцатый, для двенадцатого месяца, Хелдай Нетофафянин, из потомков Гофониила, и в его отделении двадцать четыре тысячи.
16 Responsible for the tribes of Israel were chief Eliezer son of Zichri for the Reubenites, Shephatiahson of Maacah for the Simeonites,	16 А над коленами Израилевыми, --у Рувимлян главным начальником [был] Елиезер, сын Зихри; у Симеона--Сафатия, сын Маахи;
17 Hashabiah son of Kemuel for the Levites, Zadok for the Aaronites,	17 у Левия--Хашавия, сын Кемуила; у Аарона--Садок;
18 Elihu, one of David's brothers, for Judah, Omri son of Michael for Issachar,	18 у Иуды--Елиав, из братьев Давида; у Иссахара--Омри, сын Михаила;
19 Ishmaiah son of Obadiah for Zebulun, Jerimoth son of Azriel for Naphtali,	19 у Завулона--Ишмаия, сын Овадии; у Неффалима--Иеримоф, сын Азриила;
20 Hoshea son of Azaziah for the Ephraimites, Joel son of Pedaiah for the half-tribe of Manasseh,	20 у сыновей Ефремовых--Осия, сын Азазии; у полуколена Манассиина--Иоиль, сын Федаии;
21 Iddo son of Zechariah for the half-tribe of Manasseh in Gilead, Jaasiel son of Abner for Benjamin,	21 у полуколена Манассии в Галааде--Иддо, сын Захарии; у Вениамина--Иаасиил, сын Авенира;
22 and Azarel son of Jeroham for Dan. These were the tribal chiefs of Israel.	22 у Дана--Азариил, сын Иерохама. Вот вожди колен Израилевых.
23 Now in the census David did not include those who were twenty years old and under, since Yahwehhad promised to make Israel as numerous as the stars of heaven.	23 Давид не делал счисления тех, которые были от двадцати лет и ниже, потому что Господь сказал, что Он умножит Израиля, как звезды небесные.
24 Joab son of Zeruiah began the count but never finished. This is why retribution came upon Israel,and the number did not come up to that recorded in the annals of King David.	24 Иоав, сын Саруи, начал делать счисление, но не кончил. И был за это гнев Божий на Израиля, и не вошло то счисление в летопись царя Давида.
25 Overseer of the king's supplies: Azmaveth son of Adiel. Overseer of supplies in the countryside,towns, vil ages and fortresses: Jonathan son of Uzziah.	25 Над сокровищами царскими был Азмавеф, сын Адиилов, а над запасами в поле, в городах, и в селах и в башнях--Ионафан, сын Уззии;
26 Overseer of the farmers who til ed the land: Ezri son of Chelub.	26 над занимающимися полевыми работами, земледелием--Езрий, сын Хелува;
27 Overseer of vineyards: Shimei of Ramah. Overseer of those in the vineyards who looked after thewine cellars: Zabdi of Shepham.	27 над виноградниками--Шимей из Рамы, а над запасами вина в виноградниках--Завдий из Шефама;
28 Overseer of olive and sycamore trees in the Shephelah: Baal-Hanan of Geder. Overseer of oilsupplies: Joash.	28 над маслинами и смоковницами в долине--Баал-Ханан Гедеритянин, а над запасами деревянного масла--Иоас;
29 Overseer of cattle at pasture in the plains of Sharon: Shitrai of Sharon. Overseer of cattle in theval eys: Shaphat son of Adlai.	29 над крупным скотом, пасущимся в Шароне--Шитрай Шаронянин, а над скотом в долинах--Шафат, сын Адлая;
30 Overseer of camels: Obil the Ishmaelite.	30 над верблюдами--Овил Исмаильтянин; над ослицами--Иехдия Меронифянин;
31 Overseer of donkeys: Jehdeiah of Meranoth. Overseer of flocks: Jaziz the Hagrite. Al the abovesupervised the property belonging to King David.	31 над мелким скотом--Иазиз Агаритянин. Все эти были начальниками над имением, которое [было] у царя Давида.
32 Jonathan, David's uncle, a council or, wise man and scribe, and Jehiel son of Hachmoni took care ofthe king's sons.	32 Ионафан, дядя Давидов, [был] советником, человек умный и писец; Иехиил, сын Хахмониев, [был] при сыновьях царя;
33 Ahitophel was the king's counsellor and Hushai, the Archite, was Friend of the King.	33 Ахитофел [был] советником царя; Хусий Архитянин--другом царя;
34 Jehoiada son of Benaiah and Abiathar succeeded Ahitophel -- Joab was commander of the king'sarmy.	34 после же Ахитофела Иодай, сын Ванеи, и Авиафар, а Иоав был военачальником у царя.
