1 This is the book of the generation of Adam. In the day that God created man, he made him to the likeness of God.	1 Questo è il libro della posterità d'Adamo. Nel giorno che Dio creò l'uomo; lo fece a somiglianza di Dio.

3 And Adam lived a hundred and thirty years, and begot a son to his own image and likeness, and called his name Seth.	3 E Adamo, giunto a centotrent'anni generò un figlio a sua imagine e somiglianza, a cui pose nome Set.
4 And the days of Adam, after he begot Seth, were eight hundred years: and he begot sons and daughters.	4 E Adamo, dopo aver generato Set, visse ottocento anni, e generò figlioli e figliole.
5 And all the time that Adam lived came to nine hundred and thirty years, and he died.	5 E tutto il tempo che visse Adamo, fu di novecentotrent'anni, poi mori.
6 Seth also lived a hundred and five years, and begot Enos.	6 E Set, all'età di centocinque anni, generò Enos.
7 And Seth lived after he begot Enos, eight hundred and seven years, and begot sons and daughters.	7 E Set, dopo aver generato Enos, visse ottocento sette anni, e generò figlioli e figliole.

18 And Jared lived a hundred and sixty-two years, and begot Henoch.	18 E Iared visse centosessantadue anni, e generò Enoc.
19 And Jared lived after he begot Henoch, eight hundred years, and begot sons and daughters.	19 E Iared, dopo che ebbe generato Enoc, visse ottocento anni, e generò figlioli e figliole.
20 And all the days of Jared were nine hundred and sixty-two years, and he died.	20 E tutti gli anni di Iared giunsero a novecento sessantadue, poi morì.
21 And Henoch lived sixty-five years, and begot Mathusala.	21 Ed Enoc visse sessantacinque anni, e generò Matusala.
22 And Henoch walked with God: and lived after he begot Mathusala, three hundred years, and begot sons and daughters.	22 Ed Enoc camminò con Dio; e dopo aver generato Matusala, visse trecento anni, e generò figli e figlie.
23 And all the days of Henoch were three hundred and sixty-five years.	23 E tutta la vita di Enoc fu di trecentosessantacinque anni.
24 And he walked with God, and was seen no more: because God took him.	24 Egli camminò con Dio; poi disparve, perchè Dio lo rapì.
25 And Mathusala lived a hundred and eighty-seven years, and begot Lamech.	25 E Matusala visse cento ottantasetteanni, e generò Lamec.
26 And Mathusala lived after he begot Lamech, seven hundred and eighty-two years, and begot sons and daughters.	26 E Matusala, dopo aver generato Lamec, visse settecento ottantadue anni, e generò figlioli e figliole.
27 And all the days of Mathusala were nine hundred and sixty-nine years, and he died.	27 E tutti gli anni di Matusala arrivarono a novecento sessantanove, poi morì.
28 And Lamech lived a hundred and eighty-two years, and begot a son.	28 E Lamec visse cento ottantadue anni, e generò un figlio,
29 And he called his name Noe, saying: This same shall comfort us from the works and labours of our hands on the earth which the Lord hath cursed.	29 a cui pose nome Noè, dicendo: « Questi ci consolerà nei lavori e nelle fatiche delle nostre mani, sulla terra che il Signore ha maledetta ».
30 And Lamech lived after he begot Noe, five hundred and ninety-five years, and he begot sons and daughters.	30 E Lamec, dopo aver generato Noè, visse cinquecento novantacinque anni, e generò figlioli e figliole;
31 And all the days of Lamech came to seven hundred and seventy-seven years, and he died. And Noe, when he was five hundred years old, begot Sem, Cham, and Japheth.	31 e tutto il tempo che Lamec visse fu di settecento settantasette anni, e morì. E Noè, all'età di cinquecento anni, generò Sem, Cam e Iafet.
