2 Ecco, come i servi hanno gli occhi alla mano de’ lor padroni; Come la serva ha gli occhi alla mano della sua padrona, Così noi abbiamo gli occhi nostri al Signore Iddio nostro, Infino a tanto ch’egli abbia pietà di noi.	2 if the Lord had not been with us, when men rose up against us,
3 Abbi pietà di noi, Signore, abbi pietà di noi; Perciocchè noi siamo molto sazii di disprezzo.	3 perhaps they would have swallowed us alive. When their fury was enraged against us,
4 L’anima nostra è grandemente sazia Dello scherno degli uomini agiati, dello sprezzo degli altieri	4 perhaps the waters would have engulfed us.
	5 Our soul has passed through a torrent. Perhaps, our soul had even passed through intolerable water.
	6 Blessed is the Lord, who has not given us into the harm of their teeth.
