BIBBIA CEI 2008	NEW JERUSALEM
1 Fammi giustizia, o Dio,difendi la mia causa contro gente spietata;liberami dall’uomo perfido e perverso.	1 Judge me, God, defend my cause against a people who have no faithful love; from those who aretreacherous and unjust, rescue me.
2 Tu sei il Dio della mia difesa:perché mi respingi?Perché triste me ne vado,oppresso dal nemico?	2 For you are the God of my strength; why abandon me? Why must I go around in mourning, harrassedby the enemy?
3 Manda la tua luce e la tua verità:siano esse a guidarmi,mi conducano alla tua santa montagna,alla tua dimora.	3 Send out your light and your truth; they shal be my guide, to lead me to your holy mountain to theplace where you dwell.
4 Verrò all’altare di Dio,a Dio, mia gioiosa esultanza.A te canterò sulla cetra,Dio, Dio mio.	4 Then I shal go to the altar of God, to the God of my joy. I wil rejoice and praise you on the harp, OGod, my God.
5 Perché ti rattristi, anima mia,perché ti agiti in me?Spera in Dio: ancora potrò lodarlo,lui, salvezza del mio volto e mio Dio.	5 Why so downcast, why all these sighs? Hope in God! I will praise him stil , my Saviour, my God.
