2 Signore, libera la mia vita dalle labbra di menzogna, dalla lingua ingannatrice.	2 Yahweh, save me from lying lips and a treacherous tongue!
3 Che ti posso dare, come ripagarti, lingua ingannatrice?	3 What will he repay you, what more, treacherous tongue?
4 Frecce acute di un prode, con carboni di ginepro.	4 War-arrows made sharp over red-hot charcoal.
5 Me infelice: abito straniero in Mosoch, dimoro fra le tende di Cedar!	5 How wretched I am, living in Meshech, dwel ing in the tents of Kedar!
6 Troppo io ho dimorato con chi detesta la pace.	6 Too long have I lived among people who hate peace.
