Apocalissi 11

1 E a me è data una canna, simile d' una bacchetta, e fu detto a me: lèvati suso, e misura il tempio di Dio e l'altare e tutti che adorano in quello.	1 And there was given me a reed like unto a rod: and the angel stood, saying, Rise, and measure the temple of God, and the altar, and them that worship therein.
2 E il portico, ch' è di fuora del tempio, buttato fuori, e non misurar quello; per ch' è dato alla gente, e calcaranno la città santa quarantadue mesi.	2 But the court which is without the temple leave out, and measure it not; for it is given unto the Gentiles: and the holy city shall they tread under foot forty and two months.
3 E darò alli miei due testimonii, e profetaranno mille ducento sessanta dì, vestiti di sacchi.	3 And I will give power unto my two witnesses, and they shall prophesy a thousand two hundred and threescore days, clothed in sackcloth.
4 Questi sono due ulive, e due candelieri, li quali stanno nel conspetto del Signore della terra.	4 These are the two olive trees, and the two candlesticks standing before the God of the earth.
5 E se alcuno vorrà loro nocere, uscirà fuori della bocca sua fuoco, e consumerà li suoi inimici; e se alcuno vorrà offendere quelli, così bisogna che sia ucciso.	5 And if any man will hurt them, fire proceedeth out of their mouth, and devoureth their enemies: and if any man will hurt them, he must in this manner be killed.
6 Questi hanno possanza di chiuder il cielo, che non piova nelli giorni della sua profezia; e hanno possanza sopra le acque di convertirle in sangue, e di ferir la terra d'ogni piaga, ogni fiata ch' elli vorranno.	6 These have power to shut heaven, that it rain not in the days of their prophecy: and have power over waters to turn them to blood, and to smite the earth with all plagues, as often as they will.
7 E quando egli averanno finita testimonianza sua, la bestia che ascende dell' abisso farà battaglia contra di loro, e vinceralli, e uccideralli.	7 And when they shall have finished their testimony, the beast that ascendeth out of the bottomless pit shall make war against them, and shall overcome them, and kill them.
8 Eli corpi suoi giaceranno nelle piazze della grande città, la quale fu appellata spiritualmente Sodoma ed Egitto, dove loro Signore è crucifisso.	8 And their dead bodies shall lie in the street of the great city, which spiritually is called Sodom and Egypt, where also our Lord was crucified.
9 E vederanno li popoli e tribù, e lingue e genti, li corpi suoi per tre giorni e mezzo; e li suoi corpi non saranno lasciati seppellire.	9 And they of the people and kindreds and tongues and nations shall see their dead bodies three days and an half, and shall not suffer their dead bodies to be put in graves.
10 E quelli che àbitano nella terra si allegraranno sopra di loro, e faranno festa; e mandaransi doni l'uno all' altro, per che questi due profeti hanno cruciato quelli che àbitano sopra la terra.	10 And they that dwell upon the earth shall rejoice over them, and make merry, and shall send gifts one to another; because these two prophets tormented them that dwelt on the earth.
11 E dopo tre giorni e mezzo, il spirito della vita di Dio entrarà in loro. E staranno sopra li suoi piedi, e grande spavento cascò sopra quelli che li videro.	11 And after three days and an half the Spirit of life from God entered into them, and they stood upon their feet; and great fear fell upon them which saw them.
12 E udittero una gran voce dal cielo, dicente a quelli ascendete qua suso. E ascendero in cielo in la nebula; e vederono quelli li suoi inimici.	12 And they heard a great voice from heaven saying unto them, Come up hither. And they ascended up to heaven in a cloud; and their enemies beheld them.
13 E in quella ora fatto è un gran terremoto, e la decima parte della città cascò; e furo uccisi nel terremoto li nomi di uomini sette milia; e li altri sono posti in spavento, e hanno dato gloria al Dio de' cieli.	13 And the same hour was there a great earthquake, and the tenth part of the city fell, and in the earthquake were slain of men seven thousand: and the remnant were affrighted, and gave glory to the God of heaven.
14 Il secondo guai andò; ed ecco, il terzo guai venirà presto.	14 The second woe is past; and, behold, the third woe cometh quickly.
15 E il settimo angelo sonava la tromba; e fu fatta grande voce in cielo, dicente: fatto è il regno di questo mondo, del Signore nostro e del Cristo suo, e regnaranno in secula seculorum; amen.	15 And the seventh angel sounded; and there were great voices in heaven, saying, The kingdoms of this world are become the kingdoms of our Lord, and of his Christ; and he shall reign for ever and ever.
16 E ventiquattro antiqui, li quali sedono nel conspetto di Dio nelle sue sedie, s' inclinorono nelle sue faccie, e adororono Dio, dicenti :	16 And the four and twenty elders, which sat before God on their seats, fell upon their faces, and worshipped God,
17 Rendiamo a te grazia, Signore Dio (nostro) onnipotente, il quale se' e il quale fosti, e il quale se' da venire; per che tu ha' tolto la tua virtù grande, e regnasti.	17 Saying, We give thee thanks, O Lord God Almighty, which art, and wast, and art to come; because thou hast taken to thee thy great power, and hast reigned.
18 E le genti (tue) son iriate, ed è venuta la tua ira, e il tempo de' morti da esser giudicati, e rendere mercede alli tuoi servi profeti e alli santi e a quelli che temono il tuo nome, piccoli e grandi, ed esterminare quelli che corruppero la terra.	18 And the nations were angry, and thy wrath is come, and the time of the dead, that they should be judged, and that thou shouldest give reward unto thy servants the prophets, and to the saints, and them that fear thy name, small and great; and shouldest destroy them which destroy the earth.
19 E aperto è il tempio di Dio in cielo; e fu veduta l'arca del testamento nel tempio suo; e fatte sono le corruscazioni e le voci (e tuoni) e terremoti e tempesta grande.	19 And the temple of God was opened in heaven, and there was seen in his temple the ark of his testament: and there were lightnings, and voices, and thunderings, and an earthquake, and great hail.
