Ezechiele 39

BIBBIA VOLGARE	NEW JERUSALEM
1 E tu, figliuolo d' uomo, indovina incontro a Gog, e dirai: questo dice lo Signore Iddio: ecco me sopra te, Gog, principe del capo di Mosoc e di Tubal.	1 'So, son of man, prophesy against Gog. Say, "The Lord Yahweh says this: Look, I am against you,Gog, paramount prince of Meshech and Tubal.
2 E circonderotti, e seducerotti, e farotti salire dalli lati d'aquilone, e adducerò te sopra li monti d'Israel, (e tutti i tuoi fornimenti, e li popoli i quali sono teco).	2 I shal turn you about, lead you on, and bring you from the farthest north against the mountains ofIsrael.
3 E percuoterò l'arco tuo nella tua mano manca, e gitterò le tue saette della tua mano diritta.	3 I shal break the bow in your left hand and dash the arrows out of your right.
4 Tu cadrai sopra li monti d' Israel, e tutti li tuoi fornimenti, e li popoli i quali sono teco; io t' hoe dato a divorare alle fiere e ad ogni uccello e alle bestie della terra.	4 You will fal on the mountains of Israel, you, al your troops and the nations with you. I shall make youfood for every kind of bird of prey and wild animals.
5 Tu cadrai sopra la faccia del campo; però ch' io hoe parlato, dice lo Signore Iddio.	5 You will fal in the wilds, for I have spoken -- declares the Lord Yahweh.
6 E metterò lo fuoco in Magog, e in quelli che àbitano nelle isole fidatamente; e sapranno ch' io sono Iddio (d' Israel).	6 I shal send down fire on Magog and on those living undisturbed in the islands, and they wil know thatI am Yahweh.
7 Efarò manifesto lo mio santo nome nel mezzo del mio popolo d' Israel, e non corromperò lo mio santo nome più; e sapranno le genti ch' io sono lo Signore Iddio santo d' Israel.	7 I shal see that my holy name is acknowledged by my people Israel, and no longer al ow my holy nameto be profaned; and the nations wil know that I am Yahweh, holy in Israel.
8 Ecco viene, e fatto è, dice lo Signore Iddio; questo è lo dì, lo quale io hoe parlato.	8 "All this is to happen, al this is to take place -- declares the Lord Yahweh. This is the day I predicted.
9 E li abitatori usciranno delle cittadi d' Israel, e accenderanno e arderanno l'arme e lo scudo e l'asta, l'arco e le saette e i bastoni delle mani e li spuntoni di legno; e accenderannole nel fuoco per sette anni.	9 "The inhabitants of the towns of Israel wil go out and set fire to and burn the weapons, the shields andbucklers, bows and arrows, javelins and spears. They wil burn these for seven years
10 E non porteranno li legni delle contrade, e non le taglieranno del bosco; però che accenderanno l'armi col fuoco, e prederanno quelli a' quali (che) furono prede, e ruberanno li loro guastatori, dice lo Signore Iddio.	10 and not fetch wood from the countryside or cut it in the forests, since they wil be burning theweapons. They will plunder those who plundered them, and despoil those who despoiled them -- declares theLord Yahweh.
11 E in quel dì sarà ch' io darò Gog nominato per sepolcro d' Israel, valle de' viandanti inverso l'oriente del mare, la quale farae maravigliare quelli che vi passano; e ivi seppelliranno Gog e tutta la sua moltitudine, e sarà chiamata Valle della moltitudine di Gog.	11 "That day, I shall give Gog a famous spot in Israel for his grave, the val ey of the Obarim, east of theSea -- the val ey that halts the travel er -- and there Gog and his whole throng wil be buried, and it wil be cal edthe Val ey of Hamon-Gog.
12 E seppelliranno loro la casa d' Israel, acciò che nettino la terra sette mesi.	12 The House of Israel will take seven months to bury them and cleanse the country.
13 E ogni popolo della terra seppellirà lui; e sarà dì nominato a loro, nel quale dì io sono glorificato, dice lo Signore Iddio.	13 Al the people of the country wil dig their graves, thus winning themselves renown, the day when Idisplay my glory -- declares the Lord Yahweh.
14 E ordineranno li uomini insieme riguardanti la terra, i quali sotterrino, e richieggano loro i quali erano rimasi sopra la terra, per nettare quella; e cominceranno a richiedere (loro) dopo alli sette mesi.	14 And men wil be detailed to the permanent duty of going through the country and burying those leftabove ground and cleansing it. They wil begin their search once the seven months are over,
15 E attornieranno andando in pellegrinaggio nella terra; e quando averanno veduta la bocca deluomo, porranno a lato a quella bocca uno titolo, insino a tanto ch' egli lo sotterrino, li pollintori, nella valle della moltitudine di Gog.	15 and as they go through the country, if one of them sees any human bones, he wil set up a markerbeside them until the gravediggers have buried them in the val ey of Hamon-Gog
16 E lo nome della città si chiama Amona; e netteranno la terra.	16 (and Hamonah is also the name of a town) and have cleansed the country."
17 E tu, figliuolo d' uomo, di': questo dice lo Signore Iddio: di' a ogni uccello, e a tutte le bestie della terra: convenitevi (cioè arrecatevi) e affrettatevi e correte da ogni parte alla mia bestia del sacrificio, la quale io sacrifico a voi, animale grande sopra li monti d' Israel, acciò che voi mangiate la carne, e beviate lo sangue.	17 'Son of man, the Lord Yahweh says this, "Say to the birds of every kind and to al the wild animals:Muster, come, gather from everywhere around for the sacrifice I am making for you, a great sacrifice on themountains of Israel, so that you can eat flesh and drink blood.
18 Le carni de' forti mangerete, e lo sangue berete de' principi della terra, de' montoni e delli agnelli e de' becchi e de' tori e delli uccelli e di tutti li animali grassi.	18 You wil eat the flesh of heroes, you wil drink the blood of the princes of the world. They are al ramsand lambs, goats and fat bul s of Bashan.
19 E mangerete lo mangiare, e satureretevi; e berete lo sangue, e inebrieretevi, di quella bestia la quale io sacrificherò a voi.	19 You wil glut yourselves on fat and drink yourselves drunk on blood at this sacrifice I am making foryou.
20 E satureretevi sopra la vallo e del cavaliere forte e di battitori, dice lo Signore Iddio.	20 You wil glut yourselves at my table on horses and chargers, on heroes and every kind of warrior --declares the Lord Yahweh."
21 E porrò la mia gloria nelle genti; e tutte le genti vedranno lo mio giudicio lo quale io averò fatto, e la mia mano la quale io averò posta sopra loro.	21 'I shal display my glory to the nations, and al nations wil see my sentence when I inflict it and myhand when I strike them.
22 E saprà la casa d' Israel, ch' io sono lo Signore Iddio, da quel dì e da quinci inanzi.	22 The House of Israel will know that I am Yahweh their God, from that day forward for ever.
23 E sapranno le genti, che la casa d' Israel sì è presa nella sua iniquità, però che mi hanno abbandonato, e io abbia nascosto la mia faccia da loro; e averolli dati nelle mani de' nimici, e tutti cadranno nel coltello.	23 The nations too wil know that the House of Israel were exiled for their guilt; because they wereunfaithful to me, I hid my face from them and put them into the clutches of their enemies, so that they all fel bythe sword.
24 Io feci loro secondo la loro fellonia, e nascosi la mia faccia da loro.	24 I treated them as their loathsome acts of infidelity deserved and hid my face from them.
25 Però questo dice lo Signore Iddio: ora rimenerò io la prigionia di Iacob, e averò misericordia della casa d' Israel, e piglierò lo zelo per lo mio santo nome.	25 'So, the Lord Yahweh says this, "Now I shal bring Jacob's captives back and take pity on the wholeHouse of Israel and show myself jealous for my holy name.
26 E porteranno la sua confusione, e ogni prevaricazione contro a me, quando abitarono nella loro terra a fidanza, non tementi niuno uomo;	26 They will forget their disgrace and al the acts of infidelity which they committed against me whenthey were living safely in their own country, with no one to disturb them.
27 e averolli menati de' popoli, e averolli menati delle terre de' loro nimici, e sarò stato santificato in loro, inanzi alli occhi di molte genti.	27 When I bring them home from the peoples, when I gather them back from the countries of theirenemies, when I display my holiness in them for many nations to see,
28 E sapranno ch' io sono lo Signore Iddio però ch' io li averò traportati nelle nazioni, e averolli radunati sopra la terra loro, e non averò lasciato niuno ivi.	28 they wil know that I am Yahweh their God who, having sent them into exile among the nations, havereunited them in their own country, not leaving a single one behind.
29 E non nasconderò più la mia faccia da loro; però ch' io hoe sparto lo mio spirito sopra tutta la casa d' Israel, dice lo Signore Iddio (onnipotente).	29 I shal never hide my face from them again, since I shal pour out my spirit on the House of Israel --declares the Lord Yahweh." '
