Isaiah (ישעיה) - Isaia 4

STUTTGARTENSIA-DELITZSCH	NEW JERUSALEM
1 לַמְנַצֵּחַ בִּנְגִינֹות מִזְמֹור לְדָוִד	1 [For the choirmaster For strings Psalm Of David] When I cal , answer me, God, upholder of my right. Inmy distress you have set me at large; take pity on me and hear my prayer!
2 בְּקָרְאִי עֲנֵנִי ׀ אֱלֹהֵי צִדְקִי בַּצָּר הִרְחַבְתָּ לִּי חָנֵּנִי וּשְׁמַע תְּפִלָּתִי	2 Children of men, how long will you be heavy of heart, why love what is vain and chase afteril usions?Pause
3 בְּנֵי אִישׁ עַד־מֶה כְבֹודִי לִכְלִמָּה תֶּאֱהָבוּן רִיק תְּבַקְשׁוּ כָזָב סֶלָה	3 Realise that Yahweh performs wonders for his faithful, Yahweh listens when I call to him.
4 וּדְעוּ כִּי־הִפְלָה יְהוָה חָסִיד לֹו יְהוָה יִשְׁמַע בְּקָרְאִי אֵלָיו	4 Be careful not to sin, speak in your hearts, and on your beds keep silence.Pause
5 רִגְזוּ וְאַל־תֶּחֱטָאוּ אִמְרוּ בִלְבַבְכֶם עַל־מִשְׁכַּבְכֶם וְדֹמּוּ סֶלָה	5 Loyally offer sacrifices, and trust in Yahweh.
6 זִבְחוּ זִבְחֵי־צֶדֶק וּבִטְחוּ אֶל־יְהוָה	6 Many keep saying, 'Who wil put happiness before our eyes?' Let the light of your face shine on us.Yahweh,
7 רַבִּים אֹמְרִים מִי־יַרְאֵנוּ טֹוב נְסָה־עָלֵינוּ אֹור פָּנֶיךָ יְהוָה	7 to my heart you are a richer joy than al their corn and new wine.
8 נָתַתָּה שִׂמְחָה בְלִבִּי מֵעֵת דְּגָנָם וְתִירֹושָׁם רָבּוּ	8 In peace I lie down and at once fall asleep, for it is you and none other, Yahweh, who make me restsecure.
9 בְּשָׁלֹום יַחְדָּו אֶשְׁכְּבָה וְאִישָׁן כִּי־אַתָּה יְהוָה לְבָדָד לָבֶטַח תֹּושִׁיבֵנִי
